Review 5：Liked the food, the other guest were very friendly. I cannot say anything bad about the staff cause when you become unwell, you know you can go to staff member regardless of time and let then know and they will get you help and they will stay with you at all times to make sure you are OK

Review 10：Allingham is in a lovely location overlooking the sea! Amenities are fairly basic but clean and comfortable! Hotel is a bit tired around the edges. Staff are friendly and helpful! A good basic three star hotel!

Review 13：Friendly staff. Excellent food and service. Comfortable and quiet room. Despite hotel being very busy we had a very peaceful night's sleep. We arrived early and had no problem parking at front of hotel, but noticed there is also a very large car park at rhe rear.

Review 23：I had asked when booking for a room with a view and was very disappointed when we went to our room to find we were looking onto nothing but roofs. We were tol we could get a sea view for an extra payment but in the end we were moved to a room looking out the side onto houses. Not what I really wanted but didn't want to fuss about it. Wouldn't have minded if we had only been there for 1 night but we were staying for 3.

Review 40：After paying for an upgrade and told we were in one of the ' new rooms ' we were looking forward to our stay. The furniture was tired and two of the drawer fronts were without any trim. The wallpaper had not been trimmed correctly around the plugs which left a gap with nothing to cover it. The bath wasn't rinsed properly with a powdery residue left behind and the outside of the toilet had been missed completely. I have stayed here before with no complaints, unfortunately even after spending extra money this time I am disappointed.

Review 58：Myself and my boyfriend are just back from 2 nights here, we were advised by the site we booked through that check in was from 2pm. We arrived early and asked if we could check in any earlier, we were told no, it would be 2.30 onwards.. That was fine, at 2.45 we headed in and were told our room wasn't ready it would be 20 mins.. So we sat in the hotel bar for 30 mins, headed back to reception and were told yes she thought it was ready.. Headed up to our room and low and behold, the cleaners were in it.. We then sat in the hall waiting(a cleaner walked passed and said "god help ya's", very reassuring), when the accommodation manager then asked if we were smokers. I told her I had chosen to have a non smoking room, to which she replied that our room was a smoking one.. She then took us down a floor to a non smoking room and told us there were deluxe rooms on offer for an extra cost(no idea why as I obviously booked a non deluxe room) and if we needed extra towels to ring reception.. Rooms are fine, breakfast was fine, apart from on the first morning we had to ask two waiters for tea and toast which you couldn't get yourself, as the first waitress we asked hadn't come back after 15 minutes.. I wouldn't advise going here after they've had a big country music weekend as they simply don't have the staff to have a check in time before 4pm..
