Review 1：Wifi, wifi, wifi - one of the most horrible wifi connections I have experienced in my life. The shower in the tub would benefit from a second attachment at about 5 feet level for holding the shower rod. Room heating didn't really work.

Review 8：I booked two deluxe rooms for 3 nights through booking.com. I subsequently found out that the rate that I paid was one of the highest, if not the highest, room rate in bodhgaya. My friends who were already in bodhgaya had a good laugh. Having said that, as I was travelling with my elderly parents and a young son, I wouldn't have mind the steep room rate if not for the poor check-in service. Prior to our arrival date, The hotel manager had confirmed with me through 3 emails that our rooms are super deluxe rooms. On my telephone conversation with him, he had also confirmed that the rooms are in the new wing. When we checked-in, the front desk gave us two rooms in the old wing. One of them smelled of stale cigarette when we entered the room. Further, it was a small room facing the road and had an old TV, contrary to the list of amenities published in booking.com. As one of us was having respiratory issues, I immediately went down to the reception to request another room. I was told that they are fully booked and do not have any alternative room. I insisted and told them we are moving our luggages out of that room while they find another room for us. At 4pm, They told me their manager will be back by 6pm and will resolve this issue. When we returned from dinner at 7pm, they still told me that the best they could do was to get me another room in the old wing but away from the road. I rejected and told them we wanted a room in the new wing as promised by their manager in writing. What happened next was an affront to my common sense and an insult to my intelligence. They showed me a room which they claimed is in the new wing, but it's actually on the rooftop of the new wing!!! I rejected that room and insisted on what was promised. Finally at 9.30pm, we had our room in the new wing which fit the description in booking.com.
