Reviews for Bunratty Grove Bed and Breakfast

Review 1:There was nothing we didn't like.

Review 2:Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming, and most helpful. We had a great chat with them, since we all love Irish music!

Review 3:Nothing everything was exceptional! The bed was comfortable, close to Shannon airport!

Review 4:Joe and Maura the owners are the nicest people that we met in Ireland. The welcomed us immediately and their home is very beautiful and clean. The triple room was very large and had very modern bathroom. The breakfast was the best Irish Breakfast around. Maura even made pancakes for our 11 year old son as a treat instead of the eggs and bacon and sausage. They offered us lot of advice and even gave us rides into Bunratty since we arrived after dark by cab so that we could see the Bunrattty Castle and Folk Park. They also gave a ride to the airport in the morning!.

Review 5:Nothing.

Review 6:The room was spotless and warm. When I arrived I was given a lovely welcome of fresh scones, apple tart and a big pot of tea. I can't say enough good things about the owners, they even got up early to accommodate my early breakfast.

Review 7:The rooms were very spacious and clean! Great location near Shannon airport and Bunratty Castle. Owner very friendly and helpful with suggestions on what to see.

Review 8:The BB is closed to the center but it's difficult to walk there (especially by night) - no lights or sidewalks

Review 15:Very nice and friendly people. I arrived hungry and tired in the afternoon and got immediately a plate of cheese+ham+tomato sandwiches offered, which they did not even charge. Excellent locaton for car drivers, of very easy access in a calm area. 15 min. straight drive to Shannon airport.

Review 16:Liked everything

Review 17:Really fantastic owner! Great location before hitting the airport. Very clean clean clean. Roomy and comfortable. Lived it! Great area to get out and have a walk too.

Review 18:TV was a bit high above the bed.

Review 21:This is my third time staying with Joe & Maura. They are two of the kindest people I have met. They greet me like family, take care of any needs, provide me with information, listen to me as I share where I'm going - and their B&B is gorgeous!

Review 22:Everything was excellent...very friendly and welcoming.

Review 23:We had to leave early to return our rental car...they were very accommodating with our schedule and prepared our breakfast before the usual time. Room was very large and comfortable. This B&B is very close to the Shannon Airport and makes for an easy drive on the day we departed.

Review 24:Fabulous location just up the road from Bunratty Castle, and easy drive to Shannon Airport. Warm welcome, extremely comfortable room, and great breakfast. This is one of the best guesthouse / B&B properties I've ever stayed at. Highly recommended.

Review 25:Could find absolutely no fault with this guesthouse.

Review 26:The owner of this property was so accommodating to his guests. Very pleasant manner and ensured his guests wanted for nothing. This was an excellent B&B and I would highly recommend it and will definitely stay here again when I am in the area.

Review 27:The host was friendly and charming and the house was elegant, immaculate, and beautifully decorated. The rooms were very comfortable and had a spacious bathroom - ours even had a bidet! Breakfast was excellent with numerous choices including crepes with fruit. We've already reserved for another night!

Review 28:It's quite a long way (2.5km) out of Bunratty village, so if you're hoping to pop into a pub and have a few drinks (which we weren't), you'll need a taxi. Furnishings/bathroom are quite old fashioned, but nothing wrong with them at all.

Review 29:We we leaving really early in the morning (5.30am) and we were very kindly provided with croissants, sandwiches, orange juice, and yoghurt to take with us. Room was an excellent size. Plenty of easy parking.

Review 30:If I were not staying just for the airport, the requirement of a car would be a disadvantage.

Review 31:The proprietor was super nice and friendly; she was up early to make sure we had a good breakfast before leaving for our flight. Nice area and for our pruposes, close to the airport. Free parking and wifi.

Review 32:This is a fantastic bed and breakfast, staff are very friendly, it's right by bunratty castle, its clean, provides a lovely breakfast and also the rooms are spacious. Review 37:Maura fixed me supper because I had arrived late and she didn't want me to have to drive in the dark my 1st night there. Next morning, she let me send an email on her laptop because mine was hinky. She and Joe were warm and welcoming, acted as tho nothing was any trouble at all. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat!

Review 43:Beds very comfortable, room spacious even though we were three adults, bidet in bathroom, bath and shower, Irish instrumental music in background during breakfast. We will be bacl.

Review 44:Guest banging loudly at front door well after midnight until he was let in by the hosts then he proceeded to have a loud phone conversation in the room next door, until we knocked on his door to tell him to be quiet. Walls thin so noise travels, including toilet flushing.

Review 45:The hosts were most hospitable and helpful with suggestions about places to dine and about nearby Bunratty Castle. The property is stately with spacious grounds with plenty of parking, though a little hard to find as it is quite a way down a long road. Good breakfast.

Review 65:The location was great. After four very noisy nights in Dublin this B & B provided some much needed 'peace and quiet'. We visited the nearby pub, Durty Nelly's several times and had tons of fun and enjoyed their yummy food. Our room faced the backyard and was comfortable and clean. The bedding was dried on the line in the backyard (weather permitting). Breakfast was a real treat with a great selection of foods. The crepes were oh so delicious!!! The variety of fresh fruits was very generous. The host was very helpful and provided much sight seeing information. Would definitely return to this B & B
