Review 1：Bed lined needs updating. No bar, and restaurant in cellar, so a bit depressing.

Review 2：Courteous staff. Great shower, nice and hot, and very unusual for a hotel in India. WIFI also okay and reasonably fast. Breakfast ok and adequate and not expensive. Local eateries with bars very close to hotel and off high quality. Located in pretty much the centre of the town. However, not in a noisy location.

Review 13：The deluxe room was very small and stinky, it was changed to super deluxe room on complaining but only from next day. The room service goofed up in dinner order.

Review 15：I have been a frequent guest at this hotel and had always enjoyed the stay. The saff is very curteous and go an extra mile to make the stay comfortable. Over all always a nice feeling.

Review 16：It was a horrible experience we were there on a weekend and checked into a Suite with two bathrooms on Saturday when one kid entered the bathroom there was no water neither Hot Nor Cold since there were TOO MANY GUESTS and they did not buy enough water on Monday there was no HOT Water again since the occupancy was very low and they did not swith on the central heating and since we had to checkout at 8AM we had to go without a bath. The electricy kept tripping every now and then since there was some issue with the main key supply

Review 23：NOISE in hallways from staff, housekeeping, and other guests. Had to complain to front desk more than once about noise in the hallways. No peace and quiet possible in this hotel! Breakfast was not very good although restaurant staff was very nice and attentive. Obviously hotel is trying to save money on the breakfast food quality. NO HOT WATER at 5am....we had an early train and again to save money there is no hot water 24 hrs/day. Ridiculous given the cost of this place!

Review 25：One thing that was very bad is their breakfast that was provided complementary with the room.. served the same set of breakfast buffet everyday.. after 4th day we simply stopped having their complementary breakfast.

Review 27：Very Ordinary Staff, & Facilities. No Lift, No wi-fi, Building needs serious maintainance. Bathrooms needs a makeover. Shower area does not have even a soap stand. Restaurant pretty ordinary. Since I was travelling on business &stayed in the room only from 8pm-7am, it worked. otherwise it would have been a big bore.

Review 29：The hotel is located at a very lively and convenient place with easy access to transportation and a variety of restaurants and shops. One should not get misled by the room rates. The property was very clean and is very good value for money. Why pay more, when you can get more for less.

Review 74：The first room we stayed in was right across from a 24-hour construction site which made it impossible to sleep. We moved to a more centrally-located room and everything was fine. The construction project should be completed now, so the noise may not be a problem for others.

Review 75：The Shiva Residency is located just off the main Rajpur Road. It's conveniently located, but set back a bit so that some of the traffic noise is avoided. The showers are great (but you have to ask for the hot water to be turned on outside of normal bathing hours), and the rooms are comfortable. The restaurant has pretty decent food and good timings -- it's a nice place to have dinner after a busy day.
