Homefield Rock Hostel is a music-themed hostel a short walk from the beach, town and Bundoran's nightlife and offers free WiFi, free parking and a large self-catering kitchen.
The hostel is next door to Donegal Adventure Centre which offers climbing, abseiling and high ropes facilities, surf lessons and surf hire.
The welcoming hostel has private rooms and dorm rooms, plus a TV room, a piano room and an on-site Italian restaurant. There is no curfew, bed linen is provided and guests can also hire towels. A travel cot is also available on request.

Review 1：the bad smell, very uncomforable beds and room didnt feel clean at all. and there was no curtains.we skipped the breakfast due to the dirt in room and smell we didnt trust the breakfast would be up to much.

Review 5：Room 17 bed is very creepy. Kept waking up every time we moved. Very dark corridor in places. Advertised as home field hostel but known as rock hostel. No signposts.

Review 7：The sheets on my bed were ripped, there was a mouse trap beside the wardrobe, there were cobwebs dangling from the ceiling and curtain poles. The bathroom smelt of damp and urine. Basic facilities are acceptable, but dirty premises is just poor effort.

Review 8：Been the nervous being I am on my own I worried about coming in the dark isolated way on my own when shown it. It so happened I didn't have to come in that way as someone was at the window in the sitting room saw me and let me in Otherwise there was nothing I didn't like. Lovely warm intelligent staff who go out of their way to make customers comfortable and happy

Review 9：I found the staff exceptional. Been on my own I was a little anxious as a friend was unable to travel as planned. Place was clean food was fine I felt safe as the staff was there throughout the night which was very important to me been on my own I would highly recommend Rockfield to anyone

Review 10：Matress not comfortable springs sticking out had to remove a mattress from another bunk to put on top of the one on my bunk got up and checked out with out taking breakfast other guests coming in at 3am shouting and singing

Review 11：My ensuite double was spacious, the bed comfy, and the shower was hot. They also have a big , well equipped guest kitchen so we could cook our own meals, so overall - very good experience!

Review 14：The room was not very clean & there were a lot of cobwebs. The water pipes made a very loud noise everytime someone in the hostel used the taps/shower so we were awake from about 7 each morning.

Review 15：The location was excellent and the staff were very friendly. The common areas were good and a basic breakfast was provided.

Review 16：Situated just off the main road, it was close to beaches and shops but away from the noise of the nightlife. The Donegal Adventure Centre being just over the road ensured plenty of activities and company for a teenager. The hostel itself was clean and comfortable but also safe with night staff watching the doors.

Review 17：I was at sea sessions so it was perfect for myself and my friend as it was our first time staying a hostel and at a festival so the Rockfield Hostel was ideal. We had our own room with our own shower and toilet and the kitchen facilities were there if we needed them. The staff were really helpful. Would definitely return and recommend it.

Review 32：The room was not cleaned there was socks under the bed and lots of cobwebs and dust on the floors. As I am asthmatic female I would have expected a clean room. There were loose tiles in the bathroom and the shower door opened out not in and causing the water from the door to flow onto the floor making it slippy and dangerous.
