Review 1：The room is quite small and even though we had only carry on luggage it was difficult to not have our suitcases in the way. However we also found the size of the rooms in other highly desirable locations small.

Review 2：The location and the view are stunning. Breakfast is wonderful. I left my electrical adapter behind and the staff went above and beyond to courier it to me at the next hotel we were staying at.

Review 5：We checked in as soon as arrived, around 12.00. What is more remarkable is that we checked out around 5 p.m. which means that the staff provided us with accommodation for additional 5 (!) hours as our flight was scheduled in the evening. Please note, all this for no extra payment. Breakfast was very good. Staff was extremely helpful. Location was fantastic - everything on a walking distance. Compliment was served on the first day. A room with a sea view was provided with no extra payment.

Review 13：Too business like, no charm. Hotel is located in an area that looks a bit dodgy even if well positioned to visit the old Heraklion. The rooftop restaurant was closed because of the wind/rain but we had no chance to even go up there and have a glance at the view which is a shame as we selected this place for that. The restaurant wasn't great, pasta were raw and not al dente, flavours were missing, olive paste was industrial and not home made...Service good but food not great at all. The hotel rooms are very modern and clean, but you do not feel the warmth of Crete and it's people.

Review 24：The hotel is located in close vicinity of Heraklion port and is a great option for a short stop over period. Moreover, it's within the walking distance to th center of the city where majority of sightseeing staff is located. We took a family room and it was big enough for four persons (2 adults and 2 kids). It also had two separate bathrooms whic was a great advantage as well. The beds are quite comfortable. There was a big variety of food for the breakfast.

Review 39：Unfortunately the aerosol room freshener was overpowering and offensive to my sensitive nose. It was suffocating. It had been sprayed directly on the curtains, the hotel was full so they couldn't change my room...instead we took the curtains down & I had a pretty short sleep in that lovely comfortable bed due to early morning light. I checked another room the next day, whilst the same air freshener had been used, it was to an acceptable level & so I think my suite had probably had a heavy dose of spray to cover cigarette odour from prior guest. The manager was overwhelmingly accommodating on every level and I could not fault his efforts to solve the issue. Hands on and calm by nature, this is the kind of manager every hotel should have. Thank you for everything and sorry for my strong sense of smell disrupting your peaceful evening. I totally recommend your hotel to everyone.

Parking is a nightmare in Heraklion, wherever you are, so it isn't unique to this hotel, however be prepared to either pay a public parking, so to do a few tours before a space frees up. Heraklion isn't the nicest city - we wouldn't go back.

I stupidly left my credit cards in the night stand drawer when I checked out and left for Santorini. I called the hotel and the staff were super helpful and mailed me the cards to Athens where I was staying for one day.

She quoted me 8 euros for a load of washing and i brought it to her in two plastic shopping bags which wouldnt be able to even fill half of one washing machine. When we came to collect it she charged us double saying two loads of washing which was absolute nonsense.

Review 126：Everything! The staff were amazing. Renatta and the gentleman hosting the restaurant were wonderful. The bed was comfortable and since we were on our honeymoon, they left us fruit and a bottle of wine, even though we stayed only one night. And the free breakfast was fantastic.

Review 128：We stayed at the property twice on our visit to Crete. Staff were incredibly helpful suggesting restaurants and where to park our car. They helped move our very large duffel bags as we have been traveling for three weeks. They also stored our bags for several days when we took a side trip up the coast. This location was outstanding so we could walk just about anywhere .
