Reviews for La Cannella
Review 1:Nothing comes to mind.
Review 2:Engaged with the B&B prior to arrival and Stefano in particular. He arranged for us to be picked up from Anguillara station by his mother Filomena which was great and unexpected. They even took us back which was a huge bonus in the searing heat. Can't thank them enough for that and the experience overall. Thanks folks.
Review 3:Lots of stairs to second floor. No lift. No information about the town or area.
Review 4:Clean and comfortable. We had the only room with ensuite and balcony. This b and b is good value.
Review 5:it was a really brief stay, but I was really happy with the kindness of the staff. The room was really cute and the breakfast system very convenient for peole that want to leave early.
Review 6:You have to share the bathroom with the other guests, but that's expected.
Review 7:The bed & breakfast is actually an appartement in a residential building a little (half a mile) outside of the main town with 3 rooms. Nevertheless it is very clean, nice and has a good WLAN coverage. You get your breakfast yourself out of the fridge and there is a coffee maker available during the whole day. Breakfast is Italian like (croissant, marmalade, chocolate spread and of course coffee),
Review 8:There wasn't an elevator, so anyone with mobility issues will have difficulty climbing the stairs. Though we were a bit concerned about lugging our heavy luggage up 2-3 flights of stairs, once settled, we agreed we would stay again. Perhaps best to indicate the suite is on the 2nd floor (In Italy that is like the 3rd floor to Americans) with no elevator. However, the owners will assist. I suggest adding another chair in the suite and perhaps add 2 lounge chairs on the suite's private balcony. Overall, minor suggestions.
Review 9:The location to the Air Museum, town, and the lake. The availability of the main balcony and kitchen at all times. The B&B is in a Condo building and the sign is on the gate..on a black background. So at first it was hard to find, but the locals confirmed we had the right building. Excellent free parking. The breakfast was adequate, coffee, tea, juice, milk, bakery goods and yogurt. We brought out own cereal. The private bathroom was very roomy. We kept the balcony doors and bathroom windows open to allow for better air circulation (no air conditioning) which meant we were on occasion awakened from the night sounds of cats, traffic and what not. But overall, a pleasant stay.
Review 10:Cannot say that I didn't like something but would definitely appreciate a bit faster wi-fi connection...
Review 11:Nearly everything but most of all Stefano's approach; efficient, operative and extremely decent...
Review 12:The only complaint I have is that they were unable to take credit card. There was a bank in the town center that was not too far, but would have been more convenient to use my visa. Otherwise no other negatives!
Review 13:Anguillara is absolutely beautiful! And my stay at this bed and breakfast so enjoyable and convenient. Stefano was such a gracious host - he picked me up from the train station and arranged for his mother to drive me there when my stay was over since he was unavailable. He helped me organize my train travel for the next leg of my journey and was so helpful! The location of this b&b is fantastic. It is one block from the lake, where you can swim and kayak. It's just a 5 minute walk along the water to the town - very convenient!! Clean rooms, breakfast with pastries, yogurt, and fruit, and the price was more than fair!!
Review 14:Excellent location in quiet part of town very near to lakeside. 2 minute walk to centre.
Review 15:Clean, friendly, well placed.
Review 16:no elevator really half a foor in a building good just for passing thruogh
Review 17:excellent location near the lake the room was clean and comfortable
Review 18:No staff on site to interact with and get their tips and tricks about the area.
Review 19:Cleaness, flat at the 2nd floor totally renewed and very comfortable.
Review 20:Our stay at La Canella was unbelievably perfect. Stefano took amazing care of us and nothing was too much. He supplied a fantastic gluten free breakfast and gave us lots of tips on where to eat and what to see, whilst speaking great English :) The room was lovely and spacious with a super comfy bed and a fantastically clean bathroom and private balcony. The balcony for breakfast overlooked the street down to the lake and it couldn't have been better - it was just far enough out of the town for the privacy we wanted but only a 5 minute walk into the action. Just perfect :) Thank you so much for a wonderful stay Stefano!
