Review 16:Water didn't stay warm very long in shower but a great way to wake up.

Review 17:Walking distance to blarney castle, shops & delightful pub. Saved on parking. Breakfast was awesome and Carol was very informative & polite. We definitely felt like we were home away from home. It was a great experience!

Review 18:Transport was a problem. Taxi driver didn't know where to go and got lost on our arrival. Bus service very unreliable.

Review 19:Blarney is a beautiful town, well worth visiting. Carol, who runs the Meadow Bank is a gem. Helpful and kind.

Review 20:The room and bathroom were a bit small, but so is the case for most b&b's.

Review 21:The hostess was very accommodating. Since we had to leave early at 7am, she prepared us a light breakfast. The location is excellent, walking distance from Blarney castle

Review 22:The bedroom and bathroom were very small. The Wi--Fi cut out later in the evening

Review 25:We had booked 3 rooms. They were absolutely spotless. There were tea/coffee making facilities. The shower room was very clean. The breakfast was extremely good. Carol (the proprietor) made our stay very enjoyable. We would recommend this B & B and stay there again.

Review 26:Nothing.

Review 27:Pleasant,informative host. Great breakfast, extra small cost. well worth it. Exceptionally neat, tidy, clean. Off street parking.Situated right in the village. 8 minute walk to Blarney castle. Excellent pub 5 minutes walk, good entertainment, good food, good price.

Review 28:Tiny, tiny room. Hardest mattress in all of Europe. Couldn't openthe window. Signs not to eat in the room (I hadn't planned to, butstill...). Hostess was nice, but she seated us at a 4 person table forbreakfast and made the comment that she had 2 others coming forbreakfast 30 minutes later -- we were still there 25 minutes later whenshe interrupted our conversation with a neighboring table and rushed usout telling us we needed to hurry up and get to the airport. That wasbothersome to me.

Review 29:Breakfast was good. Room and bathroom were very clean. We were able towalk to the castle.

Review 30:Proprietress was attentive and helpful. Irish breakfast was of good quality and extremely well prepared. The establishment was well kept andspotlessly clean inside and out.

Review 32:The welcome, the arrangement for dinner, the directions to The English Market & parking in Cork City - Carol was a very helpful lady with a colourful garden. The property was centrally located & well maintained.

Review 33:This was a great location near Blarney Castle and town, to which walked. The B&B had pretty landscaping; a clean and pleasant room; and a substantial and good breakfast. The owner was friendly and attentive: very helpful with all of our questions, and very accommodating to our needs.

Review 34:Wished we had booked another night

Review 35:Warm greeting, clean and very comfortable. The best relaxing sleep we have had on our 7 week holiday. The grounds and home lovely clean and tidy, the room was well lite and windows could be opened to let fresh air in.

Review 36:Everything was great we could not fault it.Carol and Tom give a great service and it is a credit to them both.will definitely be calling back next time we are back this way

Review 37:There were 3 small spiders in our shower when we arrived and it appeared they'd been there for a while as they all had webs built. There was a HUGE spider on our bed when we got back from dinner on our second night. After we declines the breakfast (which costs extra) the owner pushed us to pay for both nights on night one. We also had a humid room with a leaky toilet and which smelled like stale urine even with the bathroom door closed.

Review 38:Close to Blarney Castle, spacious room.

Review 39:nothing to dislike except what is typical of ALL irish b&bs: very small bathroom, separate water taps and no bath facilities except shower gel. But the host gave us a shampoo when we asked.

Review 40:This was a most fantastic b&b we have stayed while in Ireland! A lady who hosts it was so sweet and helpful and attentive to her guests. She took her time to talk to us and told us so many interesting stories about the history of Blarney and how people used to live there earlier in the 20th century. The house is cute, so clean and comfortable, the breakfast was excellent. The room was equipped with electric kettle, tea and coffee bags. The b&b is situated in the very centre of Blarney. And Blarney itself is a must if you visit Ireland. I am from Ukraine, and it was my third time in Blarney in the last 5 years. It is a place you would wish you come back to again and again! If I come over again I will definitely stay at Meadow Bank.

Review 41:A warm, friendly welcome. Good, clean, comfortable acommodation. Nicely decorated throughout. Good value. Breakfast was very good. Plenty of on site parking in well maintained grounds. Restaurants in Blarney within easy walking distance. We ate at the Blarney Woolen Mills which was enjoyable and reasonably priced.

Review 42:Nothing. All good.

Review 43:Meadow Bank is a wonderful B & B in an excellent location. The village and castle are within a short walking distance. Review 102:We very much enjoyed our stay and the landlady was extremely informative and helpful. We wouldn't have negotiated our way around Cork and the surrounding area so easily without her advice! We had a comfortable room with all the facilities we needed and delicious breakfasts - what more could we ask for?

Review 103:The web information said that wi- fi was in the room but when we got there we were told it was not consistently available in the room that we had.

Review 104:It is right next to Blarney Castle and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Review 105:Wifi didn't work that well in the room, however, it was easily accessible in the living area.

Review 106:Carol was a lovely host, very warm and friendly. It is a very close walk into the village and the castle is also close by. This is a true B&b, which is what I like, and not a small hotel like some others I have come across. I would definitely recommend Meadow Bank to others and would stay again if I was ever in the area.
