Review 14：From the moment we arrived at the beautiful Dionysos Village Resort we felt so welcome and were looked after throughout our lovely stay. The Dionysos is on the west side of Kefalonia near to the capital Argostolli. We walked into Argostolli one day to explore and took a taxi back. The resort is located in the small area of Lassi and its fabulous prize winning beach Makris Gyalos. We stayed in a lovely 2 bed apartment, kept spotlessly clean, with a large balcony and superb sea view. All the apartments, studios and suites have an outdoor patio space and breathtaking views of the Ionian Sea. They are arranged around beautifully landscaped gardens with brightly coloured flowers everywhere. The resort's large restaurant and bar serves a great selection of authentic style Greek cuisine with home-grown vegetables, herbs, fruit and wine provided from its on site organic garden and vineyard. A wonderful place to enjoy an evening meal overlooking the sea and watching the sunset. The swimming pool and surrounding area is gorgeous with a superb pool bar, where barmen Toni & Joni serve guests on the surrounding soft seated elevated terraces. Other indoor facilities near the pool include a massage room, gym and a pool table room. Owners Maria & Dennis together with their wonderful staff gave us a friendly and hospitable hands-on service from arrival to departure. My family thoroughly enjoyed our recent ten day relaxing break, and without any hesitation we recommend Dionysos Village Resort for a great holiday experience in Kefalonia.

Review 15：Although the main bedroom bed was very comfortable, the sofa beds were quite hard but probably ok for children. Apart from this small issue everything else was great - location, views, staff and facilities.

Review 16：We arrived late at the resort but the owners and staff were lovely and welcoming. They arranged a feast for us even though the evening food service had finished and welcomed us into the Greek evening entertainment that was fun without being too clichéd. They really made us feel like our holiday had properly started. The apartment was very clean and had a great view.

Review 31：The only downside I would say is also what makes the Dionysos so beautiful - the hill. However, if you shop at the first supermarket that you get to (come down the hill turn right), they will give you a lift up to the dionysos, the next supermarket along will too, but will put you in a taxi who will want €2, which in all honesty is a small price to pay. We would always walk down the hill, but never back up, at some stages it is so steep and with a small child just completely inpractical, but if we went out of an evening we would just get a taxi back which was around €5. The food at the resort was good, but the local restaurants offer more value for money. All in all a great stay. I would go again and I would definately recommend to friends who want a nice quiet get away.

Review 32：The Dionysos is a beautiful retreat, a gorgeous pool area with plentiful sunbeds (we were there in May). It is set on a very steep hill so the views are beautiful, every single room has sea views which are stunning and you can literally watch the sunset every night. The staff are really helpful and welcoming and will assist in any problems you may have during your stay. The resort is kept spotless. We stayed in a 2 bed appartment, the double bedroom was really nice and the double bed very comfortable, however, the twin room could do with some new beds as they were not as comfortable. The living area was really nice, but the TV did not have much reception (I know you shouldn't want to watch TV on holiday, but we had a little one with us so sometimes it would be nice), there is a DVD player so i would recommend bringing a few DVDs. The balcony and balcony furniture was beautiful, we had a toddler with us and the balcony was very safe and sturdy so felt safe with her out there (obviously supervised). Lassi is a quite quiet resort (we were again there in May so this may be different in mid-season), but there are lots of lovely restaurants and the surrounding beaches are literally breathtaking. I would recommend staying at the Dionysos.
