Review 1：Loved everything, but if you are using a GPS to arrive at the Agriturismo DO NOT follow the route off the Cassia (SS2bis); unless of course, you want to take a very washed out dirt road...I enjoyed the drive - my wife did not! Set your GPS for Anguillara (you'll want to visit it anyway) and head to Il Castoro from there.
Review 2：IL Castoro is a wonderful place to spend a weekend - or a week. Our one bedroom apartment was furnished nicely and was very clean...a very short walk to the lake and the little restaurant on the property. Well worth a stay...Great hosts!
Review 3：The location, overlooking the lake and surrounded by herds of contented cows and calves, was peaceful and idyllic. The garden would be a perfect place to enjoy the views in sunny weather. Unfortunately, we had torrential rain, but the cottage was cosy and comfortable!
