Review 1：All the elements we want and hope for from a stay in Greece; warm friendly hosts (Stavros and his family); simple but clean and adequately equipped studio (with comfortable bed,);attractive building and grounds (the garden in October was still a profusion of colour); balcony overlooking a huge expanse of blue sea (with the village down to your left). A tranquil and peaceful haven but the elevated position means a bit of a walk to the village or taking one of two shortcuts to the first beach - involving rough ground or many steps. We did not mind this though; it simply reflected the authenticity of Almyrida.

Review 2：We had a ground floor studio which had a terrace, rather than a balcony - not really a problem for us, but the booking details said balcony, and we would have slightly preferred that, because other guests could use the communal area directly in front of us, so less private.

Review 3：Comfortable studio apartment with fantastic view over Souda Bay and the resort below. Friendly owners, car parking.

Review 6：Spiros is an exceptionally good host! His care and service for his guests is genuin. Nice and easy to talk to and to ask. Peaceful place close to a nice sandy beach. The garden and view is beautiful! Overlooking the bay of Almyrida, Souda and peninsula of Akrikoti. And the sunset! The garden is green and has good chairs and hammock. We enjoyed to sit in the shade from the house in the morning and relax in the hammock in the evening.

Review 8：Not really bad but the beds were too hard for me. If I had been staying longer I would have asked for the mattresses to be changed.

Review 9：Staff were lovely, position lovely, Clean and well looked after rooms very close to Almerida. The walk back is steep and not for elderly. Fine with a car just minutes from the beach. I would stay again
