Reviews for Enalion Suites

Review 1:An enclosed bath with a shower head, but no means of attaching the shower head to the wall - Showering was impossible.

Review 2:Location, grounds and general condition of the hotel. Very close (2 minutes walk) to a lovely beach

Review 3:Need new showers/bath could do with a refurb Have to pay extra for kitchen use , not very clear when booking. Restaurant could open earlier and serve snacks/drinks for kids

Review 4:Wonderful Location, really chilled atmosphere and food at restaurant was really good. Pool area and beds lovely, easy access to beautiful beach Beds are so comfortable and big ! Very clean and want to return here!

Review 5:Absolutely nothing!!!

Review 6:Very peaceful but within easy walking distance to local bars/restuarants. Staff were fantastic, hotel grounds so immaculate I'm sure you could have eaten your breakfast off of it!!

Review 7:I was missing a free wifi connection in the room and a parasol on the balcony. Really estonisihing was that there was a kitchen with a stove but you could use it only for 17€ per day... we were unable to warm up the food for our baby... Quite ridiculous for a hotel of this standing and price...

Review 8:Comfortable, quite and clean hotel, nice beach, suitable for small children. Friendly staff.

Review 9:Despite requesting in February to pay & keep our room for an extra night due to a late departure this request was ignored. The late check out facilities for showering etc are poor with little privacy, not what we expected from an establishment of this quality & price.

Review 10:Clean, good breakfast choice, friendly staff.

Review 11:Nothing to do with Enalion .but would recommend a torch for coming back from Lassi centre at night .

Review 12:The friendliness of the staff and cleanliness of the Enalion suites nothing was too much bother for them to ensure the guests had a great stay .the pool area was relaxing and spotless .would highly recommend Enalion suites .had a great stay there and certainly will return.

Review 13:Nothing!

Review 14:Beautiful, clean accommodation in a great location. Wonderful, landscaped gardens with fantastic views out to sea. Exceptional staff, so friendly, professional and accomodating. Second visit, and already booking the next! Would highly recommend this accommodation to family and friends.

Review 15:The breakfast, quality good but rather 'poor' variety compared to other similar hotels I have previously stayed in Greece. Asking for Greek coffee necessitated additional charges (!!!). The Bathroom... rather small. Shower water was hard on the body due to old fashioned and low quality faucets.

Review 16:The Garden, a masterpiece! The Suite, convenient and spacious. Room construction of high quality (floors, walls, doors, windows, shutters, air-conditioning). Kitchen facilities and equipment. The 2 balconies. Balcony table and chairs. The view of the sea and the island. Especially sunsets. The Privacy. The Pool area. The beach in front of the hotel (almost private to hotel guests). The Restaurant (location and food) Staff friendliness and willingness to assist. Was given a Wifi extension router placed in the room for better signal quality.

Review 17:There was nothing that we didn't like. Every thing was just perfect.

Review 18:The staff were excellent - friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They booked us cabs and tables at restaurants without hesitation and always with a smile. We were greeted at the gate on arrival and when we left the staff waved us goodbye. Our room was lovely and the bed linen and towels changed every day. The surroundings were beautiful. A really brilliant holiday and we are hoping to return next year.

Review 19:Beaches are packed. Small bathrooms.

Review 20:A resort with peace and quiet in busy tourist area with a lot of choice of local restaurants. Lovely gardens and pool.

Review 21:Wifi only in lobby or pool area; breakfast just until 10.00 even in weekend with limited variation in buffet (quality medium); dated /small bathrooms; too limited stuff in kitchen of room; quite expensive with >200 euro/a night

Review 22:Beautiful garden and pool; friendly staff; nice poolbar restaurant; large rooms with nice views; quiet hotel for families with children

Review 23:Great location. Close to Argostoli, but far enough away for great peace and quiet. Staff fantastic. Vassiliki and Nancy at front desk are great girls and very helpful. Lots of fun too. Maria and George at breakfast very friendly too!! Would def recommend at stay here again.

Review 24:The shower head is a detachment hose so you have to set it down to wash, shave, etc, then hold it up to rinse, but it's really not a big deal compared to how nice everything else is.

Review 25:LOVED the staff at Enalion Suites- they were so polite and friendly. The views and the grounds are absolutely beautiful and there is a beach just a few steps down the hill beyond the pool area. There is another beach about a ten minute walk, Makris Gialos, go check it out! You can walk to a street that has restaurants and some markets, and it is about a 6 euro cab ride to the main square. Also, don't miss the breakfast buffet, it's delicious! They also have a mini library and DVD rental. Such a great place!

Review 26:Too many families with children. Food not very good. Implies there is a restaurant in main building but it is just tables with food being brought from the poolside café which is cold by the time it arrives.

Review 27:Liked the spacious room, the view, the pool. Staff were responsive and very helpful.

Review 28:Quiet location but close enough to walk to local bars and eating places . The staff were polite, friendly and helpfull at all times.

Review 29:Nothing really

Review 30:Relaxed atmosphere and surroundings

Review 31:Great staff, location, rooms and food. Loved our stay and would highly recommend!

Review 32:Very friendly and accommodating staff. Very nice private setting

Review 33:The room was lacking a bit, there were no tea and coffee facilities

Review 34:The staff couldn't do enough for us

Review 35:The well kept property with beautiful gardens and staff who could not do enough for you, perfect location

Review 36:Beautiful setting, spacious grounds, friendly staff, uncrowded even when hotel fully booked. Great base for a relaxing holiday.

Review 37:The friendly and attentive staff who would jump off of a cliff to ensure you have a good stay

Review 38:Wifi was a bit intermittent, drinks a bit pricey and breakfast sometimes not hot enough

Review 39:Service, rooms, location, staff, cleanliness, all excellent.

Review 40:Wonderful setting , attentative staff make for a relaxing holiday

Review 41:Nothing to dislike

Review 42:Gardens and see view

Review 43:Everything, its my eighth visit to Enalion I wouldn't stay anywhere else in the whole world

Review 44:Location was fantastic. Lovely views from room. Couldn't fault it.

Review 45:Nothing

Review 46:Peace No nonsense getting sun bed Very nice and helpful staff Sea Great bars and restaurants a short taxi away 10 Mins from airport

Review 47:hotel food location beach people

Review 48:Staff were amazing! The best staff of any hotel we have ever stayed in!

Review 49:The two bedroom apartment had lots of space, cleaned twice a day! Pool and beach towels provided. Korres toiletries. Lovely sunbeds, lovely staff who couldn't do enough for you.

Review 50:No real maybe e few extra touches in the suites e.g pictures and table lamps . A little lore friendly attention in pol bar

Review 51:Beautiful setting and views wonderful pool area and easy access to beach. Great breakfast and gorgeous grounds. Easy walk to many restaurants. Very friendly staff in reception and breakfast

Review 52:It was disappointing with this level of luxury to only have a hand held shower in the bath!

Review 53:The pool and gardens were a lovely place to relax with views out across the sea. Our suite was very spacious with two balconies both with views across the gardens to the sea. The service from all the staff was very professional and nothing seemed to be too much bother. there is a short path directly from the garden down onto a sandy beach.

Review 54:The Apartment facilities being open to Non residents who pay a Daily fee. These apartments are at the higher end of rates and the target clientele is compromised by allowing Non residents to use the facilities.

Review 55:Good, clean and comfortable apartments. Excellent, very friendly, helpful and attentive staff. Good breakfast options and food. Good location, very nice pool area with a good size main pool and childrens pool. Apartments set within very nice gardens.

Review 56:Location is fair only. Lassi is not the prettiest location on Kefalonia.

Review 57:This is an all suite hotel with only 28 rooms so is relaxing and friendly. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Cleanliness is excellent.

Review 58:1. Lassi. It has to be said that the 'town' did not do anything for us. It is a tourist town that has been built on the outskirts of Argostoli. If you are looking for picturesque fishing villages with lots of harbour side tavernas and restaurants to eat in everyday then this is not the location for you. Lassi is a mile long strip of bars and restaurants lining the road into Argostoli. Although it is a family venue and you do not need to worry one bit about noise levels and drunken clubbers etc. Most folk are in bed for midnight. It's easy enough to escape though and if you want to you can easily get a taxi into Argostoli or down to the restaurants on the Lower Fanari Road for about 6euros each way so you can go and eat there.2.Size of the bathroom. The bathrooms are compact compared to the size of the room/suite. However, they have everything you need and if you shower the kids at the same time as yourself rather than get them to have a bath you will not struggle for the space to kneel down and wash/play with them etc.3. No dish washing detergent provided in the apartment. You can do as little or as much cooking as you like whilst you are at Enalion but you should note that if you want to use the cooker they will charge a separate daily rate for the supply of electric to such white goods. The large fridge freezer, kettle, microwave and TV are all included in the room price though. There's a nominal amount of pans, utensils, crockery and cutlery provided but it is just nominal and reflects the number of people staying in the room - it's not kitted out to host a party, albeit if you collect your breakfast from the dining room and take it to you room on a tray, you could then hoard some additional crockery and cutlery that way....or you could just ask. Unless you were planning to stay for weeks at a time, I cannot really see most folk wanting to cook.

Review 59:We have recently returned from a 10 day family holiday to Kefalonia. We stayed at The Enalion Suites in a superior one bedroom suite and it was fantastic. we cannot fault the staff or the accommodation - both were exceptional. Why Enalion only get 3 stars is beyond us! Due to being a late booking we had a limited choice of rooms but the amount we paid on Booking.com represented good value compared to the other bigger package holiday providers that also offer accommodation at Enalion. It does not matter who you book through though, the staff will be equally as attentive and welcoming. Indeed, if you book independently, their service starts before you even set off as the staff will contact you to confirm flight arrival times, departure times, additional bed/cot requirements and advise you on what time you can have your room until on the day of departure (If you have an evening flight, as we did, you will be able to keep your room until you leave for the airport unless they have someone checking in to it that afternoon in which case you will have to formally check out by midday. However, you can leave your luggage at reception and you can still use of the hotel facilities throughout the day at no additional cost. The pool bar showers are absolutely fine for freshening up and changing prior to leaving for the airport). Starting a the beginning though, on arrival by taxi from the airport (approx 15-20 euros and 10-15 minute transfer time)we were welcomed by the staff, handed a refreshing glass of iced water with lemon and our bags were taken to our room whilst we were taken on a tour of the Enalion grounds/facilities by a member of staff. Our room was very generous and had it's own balcony with sea view(It was advertised as a 2 person room, but a quick call to Enalion confirmed that they were able to put an additional children's bed in the living room without any problem at all - you just have to request it in the notes section of the booking.

Review 60:The grounds were spectacular and the rooms were spacious, clean and modern. The accommodations were only surpassed by the lovely, responding staff - especially Vassilik.

Review 61:Absolutely amazing. My wife, our 7 month baby and I stayed here for a week. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The facilities were good and the rooms were cleaned so many times and with so much care that we would recommend anyone to go and have a look.

Review 62:My husband and I loved the staff at the enalion suites. They always had a smile and were very friendly. The breakfast was amazing with great service And choices.

Review 63:Personnel pretty different in friendlyness – esp.the young ones very friendly, some others directly the opposite (e.g.pool bar manager) When we were there end of June the wind was extremely strong and cold. Well nature is nature, this can happen. The issue though was: as the cold wind can enter the hotel area directly from the open sea, you could only use the sunbeds at the pool when you were directly out in the warming sun. Some guests did this and were red like a cancer on the next morning. We tried to make the best out of the area and moved the sunbeds to a more wind-protected zone with some palm trees as umbrella. Immediate reaction was that this is totally unacceptable – the sunbeds Have to be at the pool and only there. Citation: “Other guests also did this, but that is our policy. And all the pictures of the hotel show the sunbeds at the pool only – so they have to stay there.” – This is an interesting concept of customer service. Be careful before you use the the oven in the kitchen - it costs 17€ extra per day (a meal for 2 incl. wine is 20-25€). The breakfast is quite limited compared to all other Greek hotels we had so far – neither the (sometimes a lot) cheaper ones, nor the ones at the same high price level.

Review 64:Hotel area very good-looking with its Bungalows, garden and the sea view Clean rooms Gym and even Sauna available Summary: looks good, is clean but service is very limited - especially at this pice level. We wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Review 65:-Room decor a little dated for the price paid -Atrociously bad Internet/wifi-rarely worked, you need to get a printed code from reception as itexpires every 2 hours! They needed to reset the wifi router severaltimes a day. In the end I gave up on using the internet. -Breakfast ok,but for nearly 200 euro per night I've had much better for less.

Review 66:-Gorgeous gardens, excellent views from balcony and pool -Very friendlyand helpful staff huge rooms, clean and comfortable. -Breakfast isserved in a nice outdoor setting with luxurious table utensils andamenities.

Review 67:The design in the suite is little bit "old school" style.

Review 68:Perfect location in Kefalonia and very helpful and friendly staff. If somebody wants to go to Kefalonia we suggest Enalion Suites.

Review 69:Small gripe - the hotel wifi is weak and unreliable. Bars and restaurants nearby offer better wifi though.

Review 70:Lovely friendly staff, so helpful - they bend over backwards to help and absolutely adore babies and small children. This was our first family holiday with our five month old baby and we couldn't have chosen a better place.

Review 71:Hard to find anything to fault

Review 72:The location is fantastic, the pool area overlooks the sea and the mountains and the view is amazing. The location is a five minute walk from the main street which means it is very quiet and secluded. The staff are also wonderful, from the receptionists to the cleaners - nothing is too much trouble and they always have a smile! This is the second time we have stayed here and we will definitely be back!

Review 73:The hotel does not have evening entertainment which is not a problem due to its location near the town centre, but on the Sunday the hotel laid on a Greek food and dancing evening, the food was as usual very good but if they are going to provide entertainment then they must spend more on the dancers!

Review 74:When you first arrive you are met at the gates and the cases taken from you, a refreshing drink and a relaxing check-in followed by a personal guided tour. This is how the rest of your stay will be. Nothing is too much for the staff, always happy too talk and inquire if everything is OK. The layout is suberb, a green oasis from the lawns too the trees, (including the peaches when we stayed). There are plenty of sun beds and the pool is a dream. (No towels on sunbeds required here). By the side of the pool is the bar/restaurant from which you can obtain your drinks and Mid day / evening food, the food was excellant always freshly prepared and piping hot, the prices on a par/slightly less than England. If the beach is what you require then it is less than a 4 minute walk down the hotels steps, here there is a choice, one side no frills just the sand and sea the other sand, sea, sun beds and umbrellas I do not know the price as we only sampled the sand and sea. In the evening there is a short walk to the main road and Lassi centre, here you have a huge choice of bars, restaurants and mini supermarkets ( do not expect Tescos or Morrisons) the food again was fantastic the staff can not do enough and the cost of drinks etc. are less than England. There is one restaurant Phaedras where the staff where particularly good. Lastly do not miss the Saxsophonist on Tuesdays and Friday evenings in the bar "So Simple". We will definately be returning.

Review 75:Staff went over and above to ensure our every need was catered for. Very friendly staff and excellent facilities.

Review 76:It was all wonderful

Review 77:It was quiet, luxurious and miraculously relaxing- with a 3 and 5 year old! Beautiful. DVD player a bonus for the kids.
