Westwood Country House sells fast on our site. Offering freshly brewed tea and homemade scones on arrival, Westwood Country House is set in the idyllic Blarney countryside surrounded by 2 acres of beautiful gardens. You can enjoy rooms with panoramic rural views and cosy bathrobes.
Individually furnished, each unique room features an en suite bathroom with complimentary toiletries and a hairdryer. Guests can relax with a TV, stereo system, and complimentary tea/coffee in the lobby outside the rooms.

We arrived a bit late and Fergus gave us a great recommendation for a nearby pub for dinner that was delicious. Loved the hens and farm fresh eggs for breakfast. A very Welcoming place and well worth your while staying there. We stayed in the family room with two younger kids and the room was lovely too with a view of Cork Out the front window.

Review 13：The price to pay for a beautiful location: a one-car wide lane to the house! (It wasn't that bad, but a bit unnerving). Required cash payment but couldn't make change, so I had to part with all my small bills.

Review 28：Ideal base and ultra-hospitable people -- perfect to be a little way out of Cork City in a very pleasant stretch of countryside. It was easy to find and only a few minutes drive into Cork (and its airport). It was a very pleasantly memorable stay.

Review 31：This is the second time we stay in this B&B. It is a beautiful house located on a small hill, which has the best sight of the City of Cork. It is very convenient - 15 min drive from either the airport or cork city centre. The owners of the house are very friendly. They are giving very helpful suggestions about the travel routes and plans. I have no doubt to recommend this B&B and you will get more than what you pay. We will definitely visit again next year.
Review 32：Has difficulty finding houses even with sat nav (gps). It took us to the lane but it showed that we has reached the destination when we were about 500 metres short. Once the lane narrows proceed for approx 600 metres.

House is beautifully furnished and very neat and tidy. Our room was spacious with a good size ensuite. Breakfast was well cooked. Handy location to see Blarney Castle.

She gave a fantastic recommendation for dinner at Blair's inn just down the way. Breakfast was amazing. Two of us had the pancakes which were so incredible we had them again the next morning. Westwood was very conveniently located for our plans while in co. Cork. We were among the first people to arrive at blarney castle and had the place almost entirely to ourselves for an hour. We would absolutely return to Westwood and make our stay longer.

Review 48：The confirmation I received with two beds was not what we ended up with. We were given a small room, well decorated, but couldn't bring in our luggage. The bed was a nightmare. Not two beds, but a double that was structually unfit to sleep in. We ended up sleeping at the opposite end

Review 104：They did not have horses, as advertised on their site indicates (my main reason for going there). The room itself was rather cramped and the bed too small for two. The dog had to stay out in the stables by herself overnight instead of in the room. The price seemed too high, considering all that and the distance back to Blarney. Bewilderingly, the host did not seem to know of a road located about 200 meters from his place, requiring that we go all the way back into the town to ask Tourist Information to get directions, losing a valuable hour on our next day's travel.
