Review 1：Slow and poor wi-fi connection

Review 2：Almost all was great, except the experience with the check out, whenhotel wanted to charge me more, than it was specified in the bookingdescription... However, this situation was resolved in 10 minutes andall other experience regarding this hotel was excellent...

Review 3：Really tiny room, smelling very unpleasant. The safe is not free, they charge you extra money if you want use it although it is mentioned as free.

Review 5：Not a 4* hotel, rooms were old fashioned, with broken facilities (toilets, frames), 5 channels TV (none in French or Spanish). The location was terrible, nothing to do around, not even a walk to the village nearby is possible as main road has no foot path and very busy.For a solo traveller,non german non-russian speaking, it was a boring stay as all the activities proposed were either in german or russian. The food was also very average, not much variety.

Review 6：The beach and the facilities were clean. The room was also cleaned daily. The gardens were luxurious.

Review 7：The only thing we didn't like is that there is no path road for the pedestrians. Hotel is located on the main road of Kassandra without a path for the pedestrians, so we couldn't take a longer walk.

Review 11：The kids club is very lame, a dark room with nothing much in it, no games,toys or puzzles, barely any furniture. there should definetely be an investment in a nicer kids area, for rainy days or some time out of the sun. The beach is a bit narrow, we didn't mind since the kids spent most time at the pool but if you're looking for fine sand and smooth water entrance you should head further south.

Review 12：It is a family friendly hotel, well maintained, nice landscaping area. One of the best features is the large shaded area under the pine trees, so you could spend the hot hours of noon still outside, and not have to stay in the room. The food is very good, fresh and diverse every evening, excellent variety!

Review 13：No help with luggage, ask for a upper story room and got a ground one . We complained to the unhelpful reception and then we were moved. Upper story was available. The requested went in on booking and by telephone. Too far from local tavernas.

Review 15：The hotel was overbooked for the first night . Although we had a reservation for 2 rooms (2 + 3), they offered us accommodation in 1 apartment with 2 beds and one bathroom. After we refused it, they accommodated us in 1 triple room and 1 double room in the neighboring hotel (for 1st night). The worst was the cost of the neighboring hotel cashed out my credit card, without asking for my permission. The money have not been refunded to my account yet. My question to you is: How do they have access to my credit card when data is entrusted only to you? This negatively affects my confidence towards Booking.

Review 16：No animation in May, not enough facilities for children to keep busy. Weak free Wi-Fi. No interesting places to visit nearby. Nature not as beautiful as in Sithonia.

Review 18：Parking can be a challenge in peak season, so it might be a good idea not to use your car too much :) Although most rooms have decent wifi, its signal could be better. And hope to see wifi signal extended on the beach, where it's now unavailable. Also TV channel list could be better. Besides that great place. There's nothing you can't work around.

Review 19：Nicely laid out hotel, comfortable and spacious rooms. Rooms are entirely renovated and very clean. Has its own beach with free sunbeds. WiFi is widely available and free. Hotel maintains amazing garden full of grenery which makes your trip from the room to the breakfast/dining area quite a pleasant experience. Staff is very friendly and always available should you need anything.

Review 25：Beautiful hotel's territory, no so far from the sea. Good and no high-prices food. For example, I booked hotel room with breakfast only and paid for dinner separately. And I paid only 10 euro for very tasty fresh fish (dorado) on the grill in hotel's taverna (average price for the same fish in Greek tavernas about 15-20 euro). No so far (in Pomegranate Hotel) there is a good disko for a several times in week (pay for entrance 15 euro). Across the road there is a office of big Greek Travel company Mouzenidis and you can take any excursion.

Review 39：We were on vacation at the beginning of may 2014. The hotel was full but the stuff were very cooperative and friendly. They even changed our reservation and moved us to a bigger studio. The food is fantastic and the location is very nice - right to the beach. Highly recommended!

Review 40：Kassandra Penisula is one of the best places in Greece. Portes Beach has a beach in front and close to many beaches in and around the region. Hotel was clean and well-cared with the environment. Breakfast was really excellent... I recommend the families with children

The other unpleasant thing was the poor Wi-Fi connection - it was free of charge, but the only place where you can check your mail or some internet site was the lobby - in the rooms was impossible to do that!

Review 47：The beach is said to be sandy, but there are small and big stones at the entrance to the sea, which makes you disappointed. We had only breakfast included and we sometimes had an impression that hotel employees themselves were not sure how and in which amount we were supposed to be charged for lunches and dinners. The beach is very narrow and you have to occupy an umbrella and a bed in advance. There are no good restaurants in the walking distance from the hotel, you have to take a taxi to get to a nice place to eat there.

Review 48：The hotel is definitely meant for families with kinds who start loving it immediately. The territory is very green and beautiful. The sea is extremely close to the hotel. There is a wonderful local beach cafe nearby. You have to turn right when you reach the beach and walk for 5 minutes along the sea. The umbrellas and beds are for free there if you buy something in the cafe, while the beach is bigger, cleaner and less crowded. If you want a nice mediterranean dinner, take a taxi to restaurant Marina. Be aware of huge portions there :)

Review 49：condition of some rooms are far from the photoes and the 'sofa' in rooms are not really bed and not sofa. There is also a lot of detail which can be improved, like work of telephones in room, more channels for children on every language( not only english and doich) and more clocks on the area, like big clocks near the pool and at the beach.
