Review 1：The hotel is badly insulated. Our room was on the 3rd floor facing the sea and we were being kept awake and woken by scraping of chairs upstairs in the restaurant. It was annoying to say the least, not to mention we heard every single word of conversations next door. Luckily we went out of season, it wasn't so busy but a good night sleep would be pretty much out of the question in high season. Breakfast was also poor. It was almost as if they couldn't be bothered to serve the clients for the remaining 3 weeks of season. They just didn't bother to fill the empty plates, we had to ask for everything. At some point we got fed up and left. If you can help it, book a room without breakfast, there are other nicer places to have one with much better service and a better spread for the same price.

Review 2：The location of this hotel is no doubt the best out of all the hotels in Cala Gonone. It is so close to the sea and the beach you can hear the sound of the sea up on your room, its truly amazing to wake up to wake up to the sound of waves. The road in front is small but can get busy. The rooms are kept super clean - fresh towels and bedsheets every day. Not a trace of dust anywhere. Impressive.

Review 6：Paid my bill last night because I'm leaving Hotel Bue Marino early morning today on the way to Cagliari airport, I've requested for a wake up call at 4am that didn't get, luckily I wake up 15 minutes to 4am & there's no electric power, telephone is dead, no emergency lighting inside & outside my bedroom(corridor). Finnish packing my suitcase & hand carry bag with the help of my mobile phone lighting, brush my teeth, used the toilet tiptoeing, from the second floor I've made my way down the stairs in total darkness with the help of my phone light which I almost miss one step halfway down, in the end I managed to negotiate to the foyer a person got up from one of the sofa & said good morning in Italian, good morning I said how come there's no emergency lighting I ask his answer was the battery is gone!!!! This at 5 minutes to 5am when my taxi turn up to take me to Cagliari airport. If there's a fire at the time of blackout/brownout there could be fatalities? They put guest lives at risk in my opinion. I've phoned back the hotel today & I was been told off, she said nothing happened to you & just forget it!!!!!!

Review 19：The Reception we got was fantastic, always the most important first and lasting impression. Very helpful especially with letting us know all the free parking zones in the village. Plentiful breakfast on their roof terraced restaurant area, the roof top restaurant should be tried as we both had nice meals and the staff are very nice. If they had a more comfortable bar area we would have used it but they have a nice bar across the road. Plenty of local restaurants La Favorita was our best experience, both on their sea shore tables and inside, which was humming with locals and tourists alike. Anytime we asked for info we got every assistance. I usually don't bother to review but the hotel's professional staff would put a 5 star city centre hotel to shame that is how good they are. Excellent.

Review 24：Cala Gonone is a perfect adress for the experience of wonderful sea.. This hotel is very close to marina for boat tour. And i think it is the best hotel of town but this doesn not mean that it's a perfect hotel. If u don't expect more , this is the right choice..

Review 37：We stayed in a suite with a sea view. Our stay was for 3 days and was very comfortable, staff extremely helpful and friendly. Nice view over the sea. Opposite beach and marina. Plenty of restaurants in the area. Air con a little noisy but that would be the only complaint.

The staff was always friendly and helpful, our room was cleaned and we had fresh clean towels daily, the breakfast was beautiful and the view to the bay is simply stunning! Everything is being thought of to make our stay as pleasant and carefree as possible. Would highly recommend and we will definately visit again!

Review 39：Breakfast. We did not trust the commentaries we read and we regret it. It is free buffet for 10€ but caffee is awful and for us was not worthit the price related what they offer.

Review 41：On the same trip we had a direct comparison to make with other hotels and B&Bs in Sardinia that had much nicer rooms, equally stunning views, came with a breakfast as part of the package as opposed to an extra 10 euros per person, but were substantially cheaper. Taking these factors into account Bue Marino unfortunately seemed a bit expensive in comparison. This is not to say it is a bad hotel, it was in fact very nice, it is just the other places were exceptional.

Review 42：We were on holiday at the end of April when the weather was a very lovely 25 degrees, the parking immediately in front of the hotel is free, the tourist boats are running, but the resort is peaceful and quiet with few people around. All in all a good time to go. The hotel itself is in a fantastic location with direct views along Cala Gonone waterfront and the harbour. The room was perfectly pleasant and came with a very nice balcony complete with loungers. Cala Gonone and in particular the Blue Grotto are very much worth visiting so on that basis I recommend this hotel as a place to stay.

The staff were very helpful and accommodating, advising on local restaurants, and helped us book boat trips and hiking trips. The restaurant in the hotel is good, as is the breakfast provided each morning.

Review 49：The rooms next to the stairs are really noisy. You can notice each of the guest going down the steps. We asked to change room to an upper floor and they did it with out any problem. It is very difficult to park. The best thing to do is to try to find a "white area" parking and leave the car until leaving the city.

Review 53：During our stay we had a junior suit on the rop floor with sea view and two balconies. The size of the room was big, it was well-equipped. Even with rhe windows open it was not noisy at all however the windows were facing the harbor. We had breakfast in price inculded, nice selection of a continental breakfast. We had also dinner there, the staff were very kind and service was just as Ou can expect. The rooftop terrace with loungers and jacuzzi gave some extra luxus to our holiday.

All staff both in the hotel and cocktail bar were extremelyhelpful and friendly, happy to provide any advice and information aboutthe hotel, local area and activities! Free parking in the street with a parking permit offered by the hotel, no hassle at all! Internet worked fine, each floor and side of the hotel has its own base station.

Review 99：The breakfast buffet was quite disappointing, given the standard of everything else. Not much to choose from, and when we pointed out to the staff that there was no more cheese and ham left on the counter, it took 'forever' (i.e., at least 10 minutes) before we eventually got some.

Breakfast is served at the top of the building which gives a nice view over the little harbour and the sea. The room was clean and well isolated from the street noise as long as the windows are closed. Breakfast was okay. Nice bar just across the street.

Right outside the hotel there is abar/ lounge that has an awesome view of the beach/ marina and very niceatmosphere both day and night. The food is incredible and fairly pricedwith very nice views on the 4th floor that over looks the beach/ marinaas you eat. The rooms are basic but clean and orderly with a smallbalcony connected which is big enough for about two people. The rooftop offers incredible views of the city, terrain, and has some basicwork out equipment and a nice hot tube to relax in. The hotel offersday excursions along the coast via a boat rented through the marinawith or with out a captain that are priced good and can help you get tomore secluded and nicer beaches. Over all we were very happy and wouldstay again.

Review 111：Wonderful location. Our balcony overlooked the harbor so we could watch the boats go in and out. The view to the sea was beautiful. Our room was large. The hotel was within walking distance of the beach, stores and many places to eat. Very quite at night.

Review 112：The rooms, as a rule are a bit small, but the one we got this year had a one of the bigger terrace balconies - unfortunately it seemed to be the only room that had quite a bit of its sea view obstructed by a large tree - but that's just me picking holes.

Review 113：Everything really - it's the only hotel we chose to stay in again (stayed in it for a few days last year). The beach is literally a stone's throw away. There is a wonderful atmosphere around this hotel, with the port, beach, the hotel's beach bar and restaurants all in sight, and is great for people watching. The staff have a number of languages between them and were very accommodating when we asked to stay for an extra night and a later check out time. We didn't choose to eat in the restaurant this year as our experience wasn't amazing last year (besides, there's an array of restaurants to choose from in the vicinity, but the breakfast has improved; t'was a bit spartan last year, thankfully has been beefed up to include more items.
