Review 1：I stayed only for a night but I really liked it there, the service, the decoration and the breakfast. The room was not big at all but ok for one person and I really liked the decoration and having a balcony there.

Review 3：The staff were super friendly in particular Fannie , The location for the shipyard was perfect .. All the restaurants were within walking distance .. TV channels can possibly be improved to have a few overseas channels like BBC in English of Italian and French speaking . Breakfast was basic but good only perhaps a few more international type things could be supplied to enhance it

Review 4：The location was ideal and easy to find, even on a late arrival by ferry at night. The staff and particularly Maria, was extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms have rather large proportion, fully equiped and most of then with a balcony. A good place for a few days in Syros.

Review 6：Excellent location right at the port/ arrival gate of the ferry boats - literally only 10m. The room was great, newly renovated with a balcony facing the bay and the coming/going boats. Pity we only stayed one night...

Review 7：The hotel is located right in front of the port so there is a little noise at night and early in the morning. But this also has its advantages (great sea view and walking distance to anywhere in the Ermoupolis).

Review 11：I booked this hotel at the last minute as another booking.com reservation got cancelled on very short notice. :( All in all, this was a nice hotel, and close to port.

Review 12：One of the hotel staff was not enthusiastic. Also, we had to ask for a WIFI pass code, which was only valid for 23 hours. As username was required, we were not sure whether both of us could login at the same time, because we were not successful. The WIFI signal in our room was weak, and the speed was very slow. No electric kettle was available in the room.

Review 13：The location is very good. Our room has a sea view, with windows and balcony, we enjoyed the sunrise from the room directly.

Review 22：Cleaners don't do their job right. Sink in the bathroom was completely blocked for the 2 days we were there and the cleaners didn't even bother reporting it to anyone. Had to do everything in the shower as there was standing water in the sink. Nothing was done about it. The 2 cleaning ladies were very rude. My partner went back to the room as he forgot something. They didn't realise he was Greek as they heard us speak English to each other, so didn't feel there was anything stopping them from swearing at him in Greek for going back to the room. They had a full on blast amongst each other which we found absolutely disgusting. The room we were given was facing a wall and we had some locals sing till late at night not allowing us to sleep.

Review 23：The location of the hotel was excellent, close to everything and very handy being right next to the harbour. We stayed there 2 nights and were going to the next island by ferry so really easy and quick access to the harbour. The reception staff were ok. Not going out of their way but polite and helpful enough. The lady that prepares and serves breakfast very nice and polite. Breakfast very basic though. You need to get a new code for the wifi every 24 hours which can be a bit annoying. The speed of the internet was quite good.

Review 56：The staff was not very helpful due to a cancellation for other group members weeks before our stay! (the room booking is still made with pencil & paper) So the rest of us got dark rooms with a view towards the walls. Though the hotel was almost empty and had many rooms left with sea view! We booked DIOGENIS because of the nice view which was confirmed beforehand. Beside this, we can recommend the hotel.

Review 60：The Diogenis is a great place to stay. I stayed 3 nights. Booking.com made a hash of my booking but it was no problem to them. They took everything in their stride and sorted it out. Very helpful, very clean and surprisingly quiet considering I looked out over the harbour. I will stay there again the next time I am in Syros.
