Review 1：The safe deposit box wasn't working when I checked into the room and I had to wait almost 45 minutes until a hotel staff came to fix it.

Review 2：Check in process was fast, Vila has good privacy, New years party was wonderful and amazing great show and music. I want to thank the following staff for being helpful, kind and generous 1- Mr. ahmed gave me a good spot table next to stage. 2- Mr. Aldo provided a surprise birthday cake for my wife and complementary drinks. 3- Mr. Derda was the good waiter at my table during the new years party. 4- Ms. Monica front desk for providing support and information. finally Mr. Sebastien Marteau offered us a complementary one night stay as a birthday gift for my wife. Thanks to all resort staff at karma kandara we look forward to stay in the near future. You made our stay wonderful and happy.

Review 3：We had booked a one bedroom villa with a pool. Were "upgraded" to a two bedroom villa at checkin I.e. they oversold one bedders, and put us in the two bedder. It was too big for our requirement and absolutely not welcomed. Visited the restaurant and the bar first time in 2007. Back then restaurant didn't have the white roof. The bar therefore had excellent views. Now surprisingly restaurant has a roof which completely blocks the view from bar, found it such a bad modification...

Review 7：Globally the hotel needs very strong maintenance. The staff has good persons but they are not trained to give a service that you expect from a luxury hotel. The beach is nice but you need to battle for a bed. Family oriented not good for couples At the same price close to this hotel you may find much better places.

Also inclinator was being repaired for 3 days which means beach access very difficult.There should have been some offer to appease guests-eg half price drinks ??Alternative arrangements for access could have been sorted ,maybe with finns

Review 13：The bar and restaurant are good but overpriced for no obvious reason. Breakfast is included but simple, with eggs at additional charge, which seems odd. As a result we preferred to take taxis to buy our foodstuff for breakfast outside, and had lunch in good local eating places. Is that what the Karma prefers?

Karma Kandara has the same pricepoints for accommodation, food, and spa, but does not come anywhereclose to the five star service, amenities, style, or basic cleanlinessthat the other resorts do.Service at Karma Kandara was poor, late, or wrong. We often got different answers from different staff. The food was terrible and once came completely undercooked and had to be returned. Public pools were dirty, missing tiles, with mildew stains in the grout. Villas had a nice surface clean, but showers would shoot water all over the place, including into the hallway due to lack of decalcifying.

Review 32：The beach was nice.Our first villa was not up to parr and we were upgraded to a much nicer one. However, I was still unhappy with the rest of the amenities of the resort which you have to rely on since it is so far away from everything else.

Review 37：Location is too remote. The villa don't have shuttle bus todowntown. No airport pick up. Karma hotel introduced a car agency whichoffer pick up service from airport to villa which cost me 110usd. It isunacceptable. The restaurant view is great but I think the chair isquite old.
