Boasting magnificent mountain views, this traditional family-run hotel is ideally set in the small town of Holzgau, within easy reach of the famous Warth Schröcken ski resort, which is a 25-minute drive away.
After a long day on the slopes, you can relax in the hotel’s comfortable common areas. Take advantage of the relaxing sauna, soak-up the last of the day’s sun on one of the 2 terraces, or simply enjoy a drink in front of the open log fire.
During your stay you can be assured of entertaining evenings, with the wonderful restaurant and the hotel’s cellar bar, Zur Postkutsche. Furthermore, a varied programme of events is supported by the Hotel Neue Post and the Tourism Association Lechtal, depending on the weather and season.
As from December 2013, the Warth-Schröcken Ski Area offers direct access from the Lech Valley to the well-known Lech Ski Area. The Auenfeldjet Chair Lift provides a connection by ski between the 2 ski areas.

Review 1：Walls thin, could hear TV in room next door. Noisy in morning, outside and upstairs.

Review 5：My boyfriend didn't like the fact that we couldn't reserve a time to use the swimsuit-less spa/sauna and our only option was to use it with others.
Review 6：Great location for skiing and decent price in that area. However, you cannot travel to St Anton / Lech if the road is not open - so check first! Otherwise you have to drive 1.5 hours around the mountain. That being said, the hotel is right near the Warth-Schrocken ski resort, which is great skiing, and probably a lot less crowded than Lech / St Anton. Very friendly staff. Nice breakfast in the morning.
The Fine Print
Please note that the road between Lech and Warth is closed in winter. The hotel can only be reached via Reutte (B198) or the Bregenz Forest (B200). Lech and St. Anton are not accessible from the hotel.
