Reviews for Lehinch Lodge

Review 1:The room was a bit cold & when I asked when the heating was coming on they said' it doesn't come on yet'. But then he telephoned someone & said they would put it on until he went home at 9.00.He also brought a heater to our room.

Review 2:Location & breakfast.

Review 3:comfort of bed, like sleeping on the road. for the price out of date decor and give it a 2 star rating at most. won't be staying again

Review 4:location, staff

Review 5:They messed up my booking with my young son, we travelled 5 hours to get there my son was in a surf comp. There was no one there to receive us when we arrived, I had to travel around in the dark to get somewhere. Very poor. Our friends who did stay had no breakfast as owners hungover!!! Children had to go to surf comp with no breakfast.

Review 6:Lahinch Lodge unfortunately had a issue regarding their heater so we never checked into the hotel. Met at door and was told they are replacing heater and we have been moved over to the Atlantic. Great move! Lehinch lodge and Atlantic are only 200 yards from each other. Atlantic rooms were very clean, excellent staff and the food was phenomenal. Seafood chowder was one of the best I have tasted and I live in Boston, Ma. Lamb was terrific as well as the headlock. Very nice bar which the Lahinch lodge does not have so we were psyched. Nice lounging area w fireplace. Walk to the tee at Lahinch. Direct down town location next to 2 good bars, the Nineteen and Flanagans. Great experience and would recommend, glad we were moved, owned by the same Hotel Company.

Review 7:Nothing.

Review 8:The two staff members were very friendly and did everything to make the trip pleasant. From helping with customized restaurant choices to a last minute hair dryer need, to early breakfast. And excessively friendly with the best breakfast we had in Ireland.

Review 9:Could hear all cars passing as if a window was open: hole in the wall used as ventilation..other guests downstairs didn't have the issue so could be only 1 room (number 8). Pity.

Review 10:Perfect location Very nice breakfast

Review 11:Lots of noise from surrounding rooms. Also we had a ground floor room looking out to the. The front main road & car park. There are no net curtains so everyone can look in. No privacy, very poor.

Review 12:The location

Review 13:Very over priced and yet very basic accommodation. Not very clean on arrival (urine in toilet bowl) and very small, pokey room. Hated staying here. Would not recommend :(

Review 14:Location only

Review 15:Dirt on the ledge of the window when opened it was there for the duration of the stay. Bed too near the window No bedside lamp on one side of the bed

Review 16:Value for money Shower in room Breakfast Variety Staff Room for relazing

Review 17:Person on reception and again at breakfast gave the impression she'd rather be somewhere else. Pleasant, but disinterested. Compared to other B&Bs we stayed in, I thought it expensive for what we got.

Review 18:Room was nice - good size & clean- pleasant distant view of the golf course. Location was good.

Review 19:Extraction fan not working in en suite, hot weather needed a mini fridge, waste collected at 6 am x 2 mornings

Review 20:Room 15 away from it all, quiet, private. Lodge within walking distance of beach/ golf etc

Review 21:Location

Review 22:Location was perfect, the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Review 23:Bed hard Smell from toilet Dirty dusty radiators in bathroom (rm7) Breakfast very average and oily

Review 24:Good location for cliffs of moher

Review 25:No staff on the premises over night.

Review 26:Very clean rooms. Tasty breakfast with a good choice

Review 27:Breakfasts very average

Review 28:Good location

Review 29:Location and quality of the room were excellent.

Review 30:Very old fashioned decor, quite basic.

Review 31:Good location, breakfast not bad either

Review 32:Friendly helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Convenient to town centre.

Review 33:Nothing really. Slightly off centre but Lehinch is a small place.

Review 34:Very comfortable B&B. Staff were friendly. Spacious rooms.

Review 35:A bit soulless

Review 36:clean & convenient

Review 37:shower drained really slowly so the shower tray filled to ankle level

Review 38:good location and breakfast

Review 39:Not applicable

Review 40:Location and accomodation

Review 41:Breakfast wasn't served until 8.30, despite being told it was from 8pm

Review 42:Good value, very clean and comfortable

Review 43:Noise from boiler.

Review 44:Friendly Staff

Review 45:Super service, great breakfast, very comfortable room. Great value!!

Review 46:Not much.

Review 47:Lovely attitude.

Review 48:nothing

Review 49:Location easy walk to beach and pubs and plenty of places to eat good parking relaxing place to stay.

Review 50:Excellent location very near the town and golf course. Wonderful staff and breakfast. A charming hotel.

Review 51:Nothing

Review 52:Everything - location, great breakfast, very clean and comfortable.

Review 53:Bathroom needs more in depth cleaning.

Review 54:Calm location within walking distance of the center. Friendly staff.

Review 55:Convenient location, friendly staff.

Review 56:Could not open patio doors very wide. Was a bit stuffy when trying to sleep

Review 57:Comfortable, location was close to downtown, clean, good breakfast choices, nice commons room, easy access to all national roads

Review 58:- poor sound insulation between rooms, - no fruit at breakfast - impossible to open window wider than vent position. - frosted glass windows.

Review 59:- location - good shower - comfy bed

Review 60:poor breakfast choice. breakfast service. old tv only 6 channels. ground floor with no blinds on window. noise from room above

Review 61:easy to find. clean. good parking.

Review 62:Overpriced for such basic rooms. Also we had a superior room which was meant to have a view over the golf course but actually there was frosted glass on the window and the "view" was only visible from a cramped alcove in the corner of the room-the description was a bit misleading. This is a fine basic B&B but hugely overpriced for what it is considering you can get hotel rooms for the same price or less.

Review 63:Location was great only a 2minute walk to the town. Breakfast was lovely.

Review 64:Depending on the time you showered the water could be cold.

Review 65:The staff were extremely friendly and the place had a very homely feel to it. The rooms were spotless and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was also very good and they were very accommodating with breakfast times

Review 66:I booked on line via booking.com. Everything was confirmed booked. Wearrived in lahinch to discover the lodge closed. A notice on the doorsaid contact sister hotel in the town. That hotel was a 2 star hotel andwas a bit of a kip. After booking what we taught was a beautiful lodgefrom the photos we were left very disappointed and further more no onefrom lahinch lodge contacted us to either let us know they had closed orto even apologise for running our weekend away.

Review 67:Maybe a bit too expensive for what it is, an average B&B.

Review 68:The B&B was very close to the town centre. Just what you expect from a B&B to be: confy bed at night and cosy breakfast in the morning. The owner was really nice and helpful giving directions and planning your journey. Breakfast had several choices and it was good.

Review 69:The view from our window in room 7 was of the back of the house carpark on the ground floor. Therefore there was no privacy unless the curtains are closed and there was no light blind to obscure view but still let light in.

Review 70:The rooms were clean and nice.

Review 71:The wind and rain!!!

Review 72:Lovely breakfast with a menu! Rooms are spacious and shower is powerful. Nice big sitting room. I would recommend this guest house.

Review 73:We were in room 1 , and there were no net curtains or blinds, therefore unless you had the curtains closed you could see in the window .

Review 74:Lovely B & B , and fantastic Breakfast , ideal location - would highly recommend

Review 75:Booked Deluxe room but unclear from the website whether this had an extra bed or not. Emailed them to ask but never received a reply. WHen we arrived we were invited to pick a room but in the end this was a standard room not the deluxe we had booked. No remote for the TV, only 4 channels.

Review 76:Breakfast was lovely, staff very friendly and warm.

Review 77:A bit expensive considering its' location.

Review 78:Staff were nice & friendly. Breakfast - good menu choices (pity tht Full Irish came with only 1 rasher but evrything else was perfect). Short walk to restaurants & pier.

Review 79:Owners and staff very friendly, polite and helpful. I would highly recommend it as a very comfortable place to stay. It has a very high standard. The breakfasts are more than adequate and sets you up for the day. The property overlooks Lahinch Golf course and is within five minutes walk of the centre of Lahinch where there is a big choice of places to eat as well as quaint shops..

Review 80:All the rooms apparently face the road, due to hot weather had to keepwindows open to be able to sleep so traffic noise was an issue.Breakfast service wasn't quite up to scratch and we have had nicerbreakfasts in much cheaper locations

Review 81:Very clean, nice design, coffee and tea facilities, room was cleanedduring our stay, handy for walking down to beach

Review 82:Grubby shower cubicle, base could have been cleaned better and there was grime around the base of the cubicle frame (Detox Mould/Mildew Remover is very good). We would normally point this out to the management, but as were there for only 3 nights, we let it go. With hindsight, maybe this was unwise.

Review 83:Friendly proprietor Comfortable bed Good breakfast Walking distance to town

Review 84:The room was advertised as having a king size bed but the bed wasn'tking size. The were however two beds in the room, both doubles.

Review 85:Proximity to the golf course. Lehinch Lodge was modern and well run.Breakfast was good.

Review 86:Sadly, my hosts didn't seem so happy to see me this time &didn't appear to have the desire or time to share some good craic, which would've been most appreciated by a solo traveller. I onlystayed 1 night this time as they said they were fully booked 'tillate June. However, on walking past 4 days later I saw the"vacancies tonight" sign out again, with only 2 cars in thespacious car park...

Review 87:This was my 4th stay at this hotel. A nice room with good view &decent food & comfort. Thanks for the decent times there.

Review 88:It was very friendly and welcoming place, we will definitely come back. Room was very big, staff very welcoming and breakfast tasty! Good price! And few minutes to the beach and restaurants

Review 89:It was a bit chilly in the evening and we had to ask for the heating to be put on. Obliged.

Review 90:Lehinch Lodge was a very convenient location in relation to our visit in the area.

Review 91:Was meeting friends in Lahinch - their hotel booked out - so had to booksolo at last min. ..Lovely room ...........great location and walkingdistance of town. Good value - fab breakfast, Staff very helpful. Greatplace for walkers and surfers -

Review 92:Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Check in was not till three but when i arrived at half twelve to see if i could park in the grounds while till then, the owner organised for our room to be available within the next half an hour! I have stayed in numerous locations in lehinch this was ny far the cleanist, friendly and relaxed place i have stayed.

Review 93:Bed exceptionally hard neither of us had full nights sleep, grout in shower needs to b cleaned badly stained, breakfast ok, for price I felt more of b&b style and atmosphere than hotel

Review 94:Location excellent, parking ample, bed linen and pillows very good quality

Review 95:Liked the location, cleanliness of the room and bathroom. Really helpful staff.

Review 96:Friendly staff Good food

Review 97:Room upgrade on arrival. Big room. Very powerful shower. Lovely breakfast.

Review 98:Tv lounge was very comfortable also and the open fire was very cosy and warm

Review 99:As a coach driver I needed my rest but a disco kept blaring very late

Review 106:Cliffs of Moher easy to reach. Rooms clean and spacious.

Review 107:nothing in particular.

Review 108:Very comfortable. good breakfast. Very quiet. lots of parking. easy walk to town and beach.

Review 109:Friendly and helpful staff

Review 110:Nice, comfortable, clean rooms. Good breakfast with great view and friendly staff.

Review 111:Walls were very thin.

Review 112:Basic accomodation. Room was large.

Review 113:from entering to leaving ,excellent, recommended.

Review 114:No breakfast early service for golfers

Review 115:Staff very accommodating and anxious to make us comfortable.

Review 116:Had a great time very friendly staff, had breakfast ready at 7.30 one morning. five mins walk from the golf course

Review 117:Felt the bathroom was poor and dark with some damp on the ceiling, just felt poor value for money

Review 118:Good breakfast
