Reviews for Evergreen Laurel Hotel
Review 1:Breakfast not good enough ( more traditional french food would be nice) Bathroom needs an upgrade and pillows way too hard!! Sleep disturbed by noise coming from corridor. No free British TV broadcasts!!
Review 2:Room spacious, fabulous quiet location. Reception staff very welcoming.
Review 3:Conference room was so noisy that we had the impression of doing our conference in a kitchen. We asked several times the staff about keeping the kitchen noise down but our request only made them louder.
Review 4:Breakfast was poor and overly expensive. They should either improve breakfast either reduce price to 10€ or so. The internet connection was slow, a business person could not really do his work at the hotel.
Review 5:The room was ok. Also parking below hotel, which was good. At the reception, the persons were very friendly.
Review 6:My niece need gluten and lactose free breakfast. Even we reported this before arrival there was very little she could eat. Last day we had trouble getting the gluten free bread, Some waiters are not aware that it is kept in the freezer.
Review 7:Clean comfortable rooms.
Review 8:i stayed a few times in this hotel during 2 years, this time the breakfast was really poor
Review 9:good helping receptionist: arrived very late and needed an iron, got imediatetly in my room despite midnight. location in 5 minutes from metro in a nice region outside of Paris.
Review 10:We were lucky when we checked in that Mr. Quentine (sp?) a young attenative receptionist was there. We later had a problem with the sink drainage that other minor problems, the receptionist did not report, but Mr Quentine later took immediate action to resolve it. I think the hotel management should ask him to train others! It is not in Paris city, for those who prefer to be there!
Review 11:We chose this hotel because of its location close to my friends' residence despite the negative reviews I read about. But it was much better than expected in terms of property, location (close to bus and subway stations, and many restaurants and supermarket around it) and general facilities like room size, cleanness, and Wi-Fi. I guess most of the previous reviews are related to the services and staffs which i think need more training in customers service. Overall it was a pleasant stay and we would go there again.
Review 12:The breakfast menu is not diverse as it used to be some years ago. The location is great but not confortable for visiting Paris - it takes some time to get to the midtown. The relaxing rooms are not for the stars of the hotel - too small and with a little things to do
Review 13:The confort is awesome, the staff is great, all the services are great! Congratulations!
Review 14:wifi - kept dropping out every 5 minutes and having to ask for the coffee to be replaced in our room every morning!
Review 15:the restaurants nearby were friendly and value for money
Review 16:Staff were unwary of a jogging track.
Review 17:Stayed here due to the fact it was the starting hotel for my tour of France...bit far.away from the city though just a few steps away from the metro...also I paid a budget price so all in all a good bargain
Review 18:The heating system was broken and it was really cold in the room all the night. We found a yogurt which expiration date was past for a long time at the breakfast. Not what is expected for such a room price.
Review 19:The location
Review 20:Wi-Fi didn't work from room. Very weak signal. The Restaurant didn't allow me to add bill to the booking instead I was required to settle the bill. This should not have been the case
Review 21:very close to SAP office
Review 22:The tv set had hdmi and usb connections but neither worked, so I was not able to play the programming I brought with me. Also the internet qualities is poor in respect to todays standards. Their internet does work well in the rooms and they have this infernal login screen that pops up every few minutes which disrupts your work. And every time you shut off your phone, you have to login again and again.
Review 23:I had a junior suite and liked the amount of space in the room and all the amenities
Review 24:Sometimes difficult to communicate as some of the staff were not entirely conversant in English , which was difficult as I don't speak French
Review 25:The rooms and facilities were great . The staff were helpful
Review 26:The breakfast in Sky Bar is kinda limited choice and tasteless. The air-con was very poor, seems like never get serviced for age.
Review 27:I like the wifi, the connection is good. The chinese restaurat Omega is wonderful, all the dishes are authentic and tasteful.
Review 28:Very friendly and efficient staff. Very helpful.

Review 34:environment
Review 35:Situated in quiet part of Paris. Near metro.Comfortable rooms.
Review 36:Everything else sucked. Worst wifi connection I have ever had.
Review 37:The gym.
Review 38:It's not 4 stars for sure. You paying for 4 stars ang geting max 3. No minibar!
Review 39:Room too hot. Kettle in room didn't work. Maids didn't speak very good english.
Review 40:Hotel was fairly clean
Review 41:Everything
Review 42:Nothing
Review 43:Proximity to underground train is excellent. Room sizes are one of the best in Paris.
Review 44:INTRANSGIENCE OF STAFF WANTED 2 FRIED EGGS FOR BREAKFAST AND WAS TOLD THAT THIS WAS IMPOSSIBLE
Review 45:CLEAN COMFORTABLE ROOMS
Review 46:Crowded during the breakfast time
Review 47:Location (close to office), free wifi, breakfast
Review 48:Bath dangerous to step out.
Review 49:Room spacious, clean, quiet room.
Review 50:Staff
Review 51:wifi slow and cannot automatically re-connect (each time retype the name & password); Room with window but cannot open;
Review 52:Chinese style breakfast room neat & tidy, of big space
Review 53:The hair dryer didn't work, I couldn't connect any of my devices on Internet (for my colleague was working, is true). I consider the hotel overpriced
Review 54:The location was good being close to the office but far from the center. The room was big and comfortable
Review 55:air conditioning did not work well, most part of windows is not done to be open. not possible to fixe the temperature of water...sometimes too hot, sometimes too cold
Review 56:location just near metro station (terminus but easy to reach city center), green and nice territory around.correct breakfast included into daily rate. nice room giving on the pretty square with some restaurants/terraces. rather quiet. comfortable bed. correct ration price/quality.
Review 57:When you ask help from one of the hotel staff, your probable answers are as follows: "No" "Sorry, we can't do this" or "We won't do that" The staff is so poor in terms of initiatives and problem- solving. Breakfasts are so poor, too.
Review 58:The location is great. The hotel is so close to the metro station. The Rooms are large enough. But if you are not Chinese, you Will think that the hotel does not deserve the amount you pay. Chinese people Will like this hotel because so many Chinese stay here. So, they won't feel lonely.
Review 59:1. Wifi - I was disconnected every few minutes. 2. Shower - temperature of water was changing on its own. 3. Breakfast (19 Euro)- the worst breakfast I ever experienced (when comparing hotels with 2-4 stars). No selection of: - tea - black tea already brewed in 20 liter canister, no other option, - bread - only white baguette and nothing else (except some pastries) - cold buffet - selection of jams and only 2 kinds of cheeses and hams and selection of . No salami, vegetables, fruits. - hot buffet - eggs from powder, sausages and bacon soaked in grease.
Review 60:The hotel is 2 minutes walk from the office.
Review 61:Wifi did not work. On demand rentals did not work. Technician came to room and could not fix anything. Could not turn light on in the bathroom without turning on main lights in room.
Review 62:Several restaurants right next to building. Room was big.
Review 63:Food is really bad! Breakfast, room service - e erything - never eat in the hotel! Food staff is oriented for chineese customers. If you want to have something European - go to the other place.
Review 64:Value for money is Ok. Everything is like was expected, but food.
Review 65:Price No wifi in the room, I had to seat at my room's door to pick little strenght For the price , no water in the room is an overkill
Review 66:Place Georges Pompidou for walking babies Restaurants on Place Georges Pompidou Confortable and clean , family friendly Very spacy rooms and lobby
Review 67:The restaurant was pricey. We had dinner for five people. We had the Chinese menu. Everything was itemized on the bill including the green tea. The bill came to about 190 Euros. This was the reason we ate out at the restaurants outside the hotel for dinner. Most of the time we out touring or visiting family.
Review 68:ThIs hotel is located a couple of blocks from where my stepmother lives. Metro is located behind the hotel. There are a few cafes/bistros on the place near the hotel. The staff was great. We had trouble with our cell phone, they helped us solve the problem. The breakfast buffet was very good. Nice variety. We got to use are breakfast tickets for room service, because we had to leave at 7 a.m. for the airport for our flight home. This was my third time at the Evergreen Laural Hotel/Levallois-Perret. My last visit was a year and a half ago; I stayed there for two and a half weeks. It feels like home for me.
Review 69:Shower is horror, if you stay in it changes temperatures every few seconds, from extremely hot to icy cold! And it's past few years! I was hoping they would fix it, but obviously didn't ! It's horrible! You have to pay for Internet connection!!! That's unbelievable in this century!
Review 70:Size of the room, for Paris standards, they are big.
Review 71:Hotel Staff not as friendly as you would hope. Breakfast staff insist on cleaning around you, mopping the floors and doing things that should wait until breakfast has finished. I hated the extra low Japanese style tables to try and eat your breakfast from. Luckily there iwas one higher table I could use albeit with the staff's cleaning material sat on the extra chair.
Review 72:Rude reception staffn on check in Prepayment requested Told by checkout staff to wait outside for a taxi...none arrived in 15 minutes Hade to ask porter to ring for a taxi...poor communication WiFi...kept crashing
Review 73:The location, while out from the main, was very good and easy to get access to city center. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Review 74:The whole experience is destroyed by taking breakfast furniture in thebreakfast area is very worn & tired looking - forgivable if a revamp isimminent however the whole area was dirty which is unforgivable food &litter were visible on the floor throughout the area many tables hadpaper napkins wedging the legs to stop them wobbling these napkins weremostly old & soiled large trolley loaded with dirty dishes & waste foodparked next to our table staff seemed oblivious to state of floors evenafter complaint
Review 75:Spacious quiet clean comfortable room large airy entrance & receptionlarge efficient lifts helpful staff at reception & concierge
Review 76:I had to call 3 times to get someone to come to my room and check tv. My room hadn't been cleaned by late i the afternoon and I had o wait about an hour to get it serviced.
Review 77:The room was nice and large . My tv and air id not work in my first room and I was moved to a better room. Close to a metro stop.
Review 78:WiFi access: not included, very low bitrate, expensive packages
Review 79:Calm, comfort, large space everywhere (room, corridor, hall), location(100m from the Métro and taxi parking area, close to La Défense)
Review 80:A bit expensive, breakfast not included in room rate. Location not good for sightseeing (metro near though).

Review 92:For the location, it's conveniently close to Metro
Review 93:A bit far from city of Paris
