Reviews for Vincenzo Family Rooms

Review 1:The wifi was normally ok but sometimes did not work properly. There was not hot water all the time.

Review 2:The b & b was very nice and cosy. My room was beautiful with a bath and a balcony. Breakfast was good and the lady working there was really nice. The owner also brought me to the harbor and back. Tinos as a destination is really beautiful with amazing villages and landscape around.

Review 3:Towels were washed so often that we were wondering if they should start considering the environment a bit more.

Review 4:Great atmosphere. Tastefully furnished with a wonderful breakfast in a beautiful setting under the trees. The staff did their utmost best to make you feel at home and show you what/where to do around Tinos.

Review 5:The room was old. The bed was a mattress on a hard permanent surface. Thin sheets. The show nozzle had to be held by hand...why not attach to the wall? I did not realize that the nicer rooms were across the street. The pictures on the internet are not the pictures of the room we stayed. I saw all the white on the internet. Our room was brown and old. I was told that those internet photo rooms are in the building across the street. Why not give us the option to upgrade to the better room? I would have paid for the better room. Outside of our window was a dog pen and it barked. I slept with the lights on to play it safe since the room did not look clean. I did not notice the friendliness of the staff. He seemed irritated that he had to wait at the pier. This is not a boutique hotel but an average hotel. Ask for the white rooms with the view of the courtyard and not the dog pen!

Review 6:The location is what you pay for.

Review 7:None.

Review 8:We were in one of the Studios and liked the stylish space (although quite small) and the comfort generally. The shower area is high-quality - rare at this price. Towels were changed twice daily! Breakfast in the courtyard garden was a pleasure, with the cheerful lady serving a slightly different selection every day. The Jacuzzi in the garden was very pleasant on a warm afternoon.

Review 9:Perfect spot for my first visit to Tinos. Loved the breakfasts (served in the beautiful garden each morning), the location (quiet street but very close to the Hora and walking distance to the church), and the owners (so friendly, hospitable and accommodating). The room was cleaned several times a day -- it was spacious and was decorated in the authentic island style, with a lot of character. My only regret is that I couldn't stay longer!

Review 10:No bad experience

Review 11:Friendly staff and both hosts couldn't do enough for us. We were greeted at port and were taken back when we left. Friendly atmosphere and very close to main shipping strip but away from noise and traffic.

Review 12:Everything was perfect!

Review 13:Excellent apartments, very near to the city center, Vicenzo is an amazing host, a unique experience in Tinos! I highly recommend this place!

Review 14:The hotel was better than any of the surrounding streets although well located in city centre and not too far away from beaches.

Review 15:The staff were beyond helpful and the rooms were exquisitely decorated and luxurious. Thank you Frederico and Vincenzo, nothing was too much trouble ...... Best value

Review 16:Absolutely fantastic staff. They're so friendly, accommodating and will go well and truly out of their way to help in any way they can. My room was cleaned twice a day and the included breakfasts were phenomenal. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Review 17:Rather amateur, though they did their best. Breakfast below average: concentrate juice, pizza, margarine and watery marmalade. Two out of six days they had an egg. Also, trying to keep the cleaning standard high, they made the room twice a day. Yet, changing towels and toilet paper (!) twice a day is totally unacceptable in terms of ecology. We noticed that, but they didn't seem to bother. Good intentions, problematic outcome.

Review 18:Low price, friendliness of staff and owners

Review 19:If you find more friendly staff in the whole Mediterranean inform me to change my score to 9.9. Both Francisco his brother and father are friendly and helpful.

Review 20:Maybe the time to wait the hot water in the bathroom

Review 21:A friendly welcome A nice place allowing to discover easily the Island, a family team always available to help you whatever your needs

Review 22:Nothing serious

Review 23:- Green garden : relaxing mood - Design of room : fency, cozy - Good breakfast in the garden - Hot shower anytime - Good wifi connection - Location - Staff : doing their best

Review 24:So happy that we found this great place to stay. Beautifully decorated, quaint courtyard, extremely clean and quiet. The staff are incredibly helpful, polite and friendly. Can't say enough good things about Vincenzo's. Out of 4 different islands and 5 different hotels this place was our favourite during our 3 week vacation to Greece. We'll definitely stay there if ever we're in Tinos again.

Review 25:nothing. just one note for next refurbishment: instead of jacuzzi, put a big shower which is more practical for seaside use.

Review 26:cozy room, attentive people and great location.

Review 27:There are rooms that need to be renovated.

Review 28:Vincenzo's location is great. The owners and staff very polite and helpful. Very clean and cosy atmosphere. The room was great(we stayed at a deluxe studio)! Stylish, big enough and clean! A "welcome" sweet was there waiting for us at the garden, and also a basket full of fresh fruits, at the room! Breakfast was delicious. We defenetely recomend Vincenzo for your holidays in Tinos!

Review 29:Next time I would upgrade to get a larger suit. Our room was small with little space for storage.

Review 30:Interior design well thought out and restful. The family minibus picked us up free of charge from the ferry and settled us in with a seat in the garden, fresh lemonade and delicious Turkish delights. What a wonderful start. The breakfast was very fresh and beautifully presented. I have never had my linen changed so often. Clean an fresh.

Review 31:The over zealousness of the attentive cleaning staff. It's not really intended to be a criticism. However, if you like to live in a relaxed free and easy way (ie a little untidy) then the relentless changing of towels and on one occasion an early visit whilst we were still sleeping: then it might be worth telling the impeccable hosts beforehand.

Review 32:Pretty much everything

Review 33:The only thing we can think of is if there was a nicer view from the room but you can't have everything and the gardens made up for it. Brilliant.

Review 34:Picked up from the port, greeted with coffee and cake in the garden. A great deal of thought has gone into the design of the rooms. We had a spa bath and the bathroom sink was a chunk of carved marble. Beautiful and spacious. Had fun in the jacuzzi in the garden. Breakfast was enormous and delicious, 3 mins walk to seafront and restaurants. 10 mins walk to port and bus station. Really helpful staff would do anything for you. Hardly used a towel before it was changed. Absolutely loved it, a highlight of our holiday. Thank you Frank and family.

Review 35:Nothing worth mentioning as the service here was impeccable!

Review 36:Loved how friendly and accommodating they were. The breakfast was awesome - more than enough. The shuttle was there for us a few times and always on time!

Review 37:We fell in love with Vincenzo Appartments last year when we first discovered this place. The rooms and gardens are gorgeously decorated. It feels like home away from home. The rooms get serviced daily. Upon arrival you were greeted with home made lemonade. The breakfast is rich of local delicacies. The food just as exceptional and great value. The jacuzzi and sauna/hamam are my highlight and a great way to relax. Their friendliness and attentiveness to the guests needs is un comparable. This is so far the best experience I have had and will no doubt be back next year

Review 38:Nothing at all. This is the best value for money bed and breakfast hotel we have ever come across.

Review 39:Friendly, welcoming staff, who couldn't have been more helpful. A bowl of fruit in the room. Little treats on the pillow. An amazing cornucopia of breakfast dishes. The little terrace outside the room. A price so low we were almost embarrassed to pay it.

Review 40:Nothing more to add - a lovely place to stay and an easy walk into town.

Review 41:The Cycladic style room off the beautiful little courtyard garden was lovely. Breakfasts were served in the garden and were delicious. And the staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Very happy to recommend.

Review 42:great hospitality very cosy and warm environment breakfast was amazing the staff were wonderful. cannot think of a negative comment, would recommend for sure!

Review 43:The room was a little dank and smelled musty, but we didn't spend much time inside.

Review 44:The staff was generally friendly and the breakfast was excellent and more than generous. The courtyard where we ate breakfast was beautiful and a great place to relax. The rooms are conveniently located and it's easy to walk into town to eat or to catch a bus that will take you all over the island.

Review 45:Everyone went out of their way to make the stay enjoyable.

Review 46:We appreciated the warm and thoughtful team that hosted us. Having breakfast in the garden was a pleasure. Thank you.

Review 47:Friendly staf. very clean room. He best bathroom in Greece. Nice breakfast. Shuttle to and from the harbour

Review 77:I loved my stay here. Great location, clean and comfortable rooms, we were met at the ferry and breakfast was fantastic. Tinos was a wonderful place to visit and our time at Vincenzo made it even better. Wonderful!

Review 78:Can't think of anything.

Review 79:Anna and her team know how to look after guests. We saw the good reviewsand wondered if it would live up to these expectactions and yes it did.We loved the decor in the room and the outdoor facilities, the breakast- and yes our rooms were serviced twice per day. We were driven down tothe ferry when departing. We would love to return someday.

Review 80:We were met at the harbour and taken to Vinceno Family Rooms where cold drinks were made available. Our room was Studio 9, which was a large room and it also had a small lounge with a balcony facing the street. There was a flat screen tv, a kettle and cups for our early morning cup of tea. The bathroom had all new fittings and there was also a spa bath. Outside the room was a small patio with a table, chairs and a bench seat. The breakfasts were amazing. There were only 3 of us, but there was enough food for 6. Anna was a very well presented lady with a very good command of the English language. The bathroom linens were changed twice a day and at night the beds were turned down with a Turkish Delight on the pillow. A lovely gesture!!!!! Vinceno Family Rooms were a very short walk into town for bars, cafes and restaurants and the Cathedral. Thank you Anna and your Staff for making our short stay so enjoyable. See you all next time we are in Tinos.

Review 81:A top choice hotel! Everything was wonderful, the rooms very clean and beautifully designed, the amazing garden with its peacefulness, but above all the hospitality of the owner and the staff. You are treated like a guest not like a customer! Thank you Yiannis and Anna!

Review 82:The regular rooms have an odour and noticed aunts on the floor.

Review 83:The welcome and assistance offered by the staff. The whole presentation of the deluxe room that my parents stayed at.

Review 84:All the staff went the extra mile to make our stay more enjoyable, I would really recommend this hotel. The postion of the hotel is excellent to Tinos Town. Fantastic.

Review 85:Room paid 90 euros. Although it was a nice room, the price is expensive.

Review 86:Nice bedroom. Hotel located right in the center of Tinos. Calm. Ana comes and fetches you at the ferry.

Review 87:The only thing I didn't like was leaving! Missing Tinos andVincenzo Hotel!

Review 88:Vincenzo family rooms is outstanding in all categories, it is an oasison a jewel of an island in the port city of Chora. The location of thehotel is great, close enough to the port to make walking easy yet set ina fairly quiet neighborhood. The hotel consists of two buildings locatedon opposite sides of a lightly traveled one way street, each with theirown character, their are several types of rooms so ask and they willhave a room that will make you happy. Service by the staff approachesboutique hotel levels, you will be surprised by the extent to which theowner and hotel manager will go to make you feel welcome. The travelerunfamiliar with Tinos or greece can trust every word of advice that isgiven about travel and food. I really cant say enough good things aboutVincenzo and also Tinos ,the only way is to come here and find out foryourself, you will not be disappointed.

Review 89:the hotel is spotless, spacious bathroom, the decoration of the room was very neat and original, it was on the ground floor overlooking a courtyard very cute the transfer from the port to the hotel and the way back has been provided free of charge by a member of staff Breakfast plentiful friendliness of all the staff. especially Anna

Review 90:The bath room was rather small. The room had a good size, but lacked a table or desk. While good in other places, the free wifi was weak in my room.

Review 91:Very friendly and helpful staff. Although I advised them about my arrival just a few hours in advance they came to pick me up at the port. Ada also provided all the information I needed about local and onward transportation. She remembered my preference for green tea and brought me a cup when I was reading on the terrace in front of my room. When I left she gave me another ride to the ferry. I also liked the excellent breakfast in the lovely little garden behind the hotel.

Review 92:Very friendly and clean. Lovely hotel, comfortable and provided an excellent breakfast. Centrally located but also in a quiet area. We were picked up from the port and driven back when we left. Couldnt have asked for more! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

Review 93:At first a slightly confusing set of light switches. In the context of other Tinion rooms it is a pricey option (567 euros for a six night stay) but for the money you do get great service, but not for those on a tight budget.

Review 94:Beautiful setting. Convenient location. Fantastic room, superb staff (especially Ana) and service (room checked twice a day). Very friendly. Comfy bed, good bathroom. Pick up and drop off to/from the ferry. Nice breakfasts. Superb A/C system. Able to get a verifiably smoke-free room.

Review 95:The hotel is in a nice cycladic-type building from the 1940s. It is well-maintained and very pretty. We were met at the harbor and driven to thehotel by its staff, where we were immediately offered drinks andcandies, just before registration. The owner is extremely kind and knowsthe area well; she even arranged for me to meet a colleague (anarchaeologist working in a nearby museum), something that would havebeen difficult for me to do because I don't speak Greak and that mostreceptionists in small museums in Greece don't seem to speak enoughEnglish to understand what I wanted (I tried in vain with the Tyramuseum). There is a nice, small swimming pool (more like an outsidebath, but refreshing when it is hot). The rooms are very nice, and thehotel is located in Tinos, a 10-minute walk from where the buses leaveto various towns on the island. I only regret that I could not staylonger; 3 days was not enough for me. It was among the best value forthe money that I ever got.

Review 96:The bed was a bit hard, as it is in many Greek hotels...There was streetnoise but ear plugs did the trick.

Review 97:Anna is a wonderful hostess who goes out of her way to make her guestscomfortable and welcome..The rooms are beautifully designed.Mine hadfaux antique furniture with beautiful yet understated accents and a realplus was the bath tub with whirlpool jets..Breakfast is generous and theproximity to town and car rental agencies and the port was excellent forday trips.

Review 98:Collected from port on time Rooms beautifully decorated, lovely style, breakfast area really nice outdoors lots of plants/flowers, breakfast was plentiful and lovely too. Location is on a fairly quiet street within 5 mins walking distance to sea and restaurants, doesn't have a sea view but it doesn't need it. Anna met us with a refreshing cold lemonade on arrival, and staff are very nice, bed linen and towels changed every day, lovely little touches like shirts folded up and laid on the bed. Wi-fi is good. Anna said they just won an award for their hotel, and I can only say  it is well deserved. What the island lacks in terms of excitement and activities is certainly compensated for by the friendliness of the local people, who couldn't be nicer. I would highly recommend Vincenzo Rooms.

Review 99:Nice rooms very relaxed atmosphere in a good location near the Church and the town center but away from the noise, everything is clean and the staff is always helpful. We stayed only one day but we really enjoyed it.

Review 100:The rooms were beautiful with excellent decoration. The staff waspolite, friendly and will do their best for the guest to have a good andrelaxed time. The atmosphere in general is very warm and makes you feellike home.

Review 101:The room was not very comfortable, the beds were hard for old folks like us!

Review 102:the owners were very hospitable, the breakfasts were very good, using quality ingredients. The hotel was near the port and centre. the towels were changed fequently.

Review 103:Liked it all.

Review 104:Friendly small family run hotel. Very obliging owners, transport to/from ferry, lovely breakfast.

Review 105:Excelent service, excellent rooms with simple aesthetic design, breakfast was wonderful.

Review 106:Nothing negative to say about the hotel!

Review 107:Enerything!

Review 108:The welcome and friendliness the room was very fresh and original. We had an excellent breakfast and they went the extra mile

Review 109:All good

Review 110:Excellent Staff and facilities. The rooms were very clean and very comfortable. Great location.

Review 111:Incredibly welcoming and friendly. Very helpful. Fantastic breakfasts. Good setting and lovely garden to relax in.

Review 112:The service was wonderful and the hotel charming, immaculate and well located.

Review 113:Nice and friendly staff. Beautiful garden. Good breakfast, short walk to port and lots of cafés and restaurants.
