Review 1：The hotel is in a very quiet area but not far from the city centre. The staff are very helpful and service is given with a smile. The hotel is exceptionally clean and food is good. I will surely recommend the place.

What gives this hotel an extra mark are free bicycles which were great for exploring the city.

Review 57：We stayed 5 nights in the Savhotel. . The hotel is near a busstation. We planned to make daytrips to Venecia, Firenze and Rimini. That was no problem. In about 5 minutes the bus drove us to the central station. The service is very nice and the breakfast is very good and versatile. Especially the cappuccino you can order was very tasty. Rooms are modern and clean. We had a great stay at the Savhotel and we did not miss anything. Perfect.

Review 89：This hotel is located in a recently built quarter of Bologna. Unfortunately the staff of the hotel failed to warn me that it is not safe to park outside Hotel underground parking (which was full). I left the car in front of hotel entrance (about 30 meters from it) and in a very well lighted public parking - this did not prevent thieves to break a glass and make much damage to my car just to steal very little value articles from the trunk despite hidden from sight(some shirts, and a vest). Local residents and police afterwards informed me that cars with foreign plates are systematically attacked in this place which is like a trap for foreigners and turists. Interestingly local residents made me notice a kind of gravel made of broken car glasses covering the parking surface.... This big fail makes me rate this hotel rather low despite all its very positive points. in my personal opinion, hotel staff must take responsability of customers safety, at least warning about "booby traps" located in front of the entrance.

If we didn't have a car for our stay in Bologna, the location might have been a bit far out of the city centre... but we went into town once without the car and had no trouble taking the bus there and walking back after a filling meal. It's not THAT far at all.

Review 112：Savhotel is clean, new and comfortable. For the price, you are a little bit outside of the Bologna city centre but it includes breakfast and the hotel is just great. When we checked in, the staff brought us a bottle of bubbly which was lovely and unexpected :) I would recommend Savhotel to anyone.

Some cutlery set during breakfast was missing Price for dinner was very expensive compared yo other restaurants in the area Although it doesn't make a lot of difference to me we as foreigners were charged an extra €1.50 tax per per person per day imposed by the italian authorities. The Savhotel only received a reservation for 2 superior rooms from Booking.com without the specification for 2 single beds each. This is an inadequacy in Booking.com's system!! Even in case you select the right button, please repeat your requirements separately because the Booking.com system can fail to pass your requirements.

Review 122：Savhotel is a very good (business) hotel, very comfortable with an excellent breakfast (buffet). The superior room is a spacious room with good bed(s). The personel is very friendly and offers a good service. Savhotel is located on a walking distance from the centre of Bologna, although - after a day visiting Bologna - taking a taxi back to the hotel is recommended.

Review 134：Overall the hotel was not bad, but certainly not value for money. We (a couple) paid 230 Euro for two nights. For Bologna this does not seem out of sync with the rest of the city as many hotels seem over-priced but it was a weekend and the hotel was quiet so it felt we were paying too much. Downsides, it is not quiet: the thin ceilings meant we could hear every step the person upstairs was taking in their room. Thin walls meant we could hear noise from adjoining rooms and the corridor. Not just muffled noise but you could clearly make out people's conversations. As a young couple it would make you wonder who is listening to you..! The breakfast was very disappointing and bears no resemblence to the reviews it has on line. For example the 'fresh bread' has clearly come from a packet bought at the local supermarket. Soft and spongy, with a long shelf life. The 'gym' consists of an antiquated exercise bike and treadmill, with one bench and free weights that go up to a whopping 10kg. A depressingly poor effort. Shocking really. In fact the quality of the reviews for this hotel on Bookings.com makes my quite suspicious about their origin. Certainly the ratings that this hotel has in no way lived up to my expectations or the price.
