Review 1：Could hear other guests going to toilet, taking shower, couple talking loudly in room next door. Other guest could be heard chatting on phone. Walls paper thin. Thankfully I had ear plugs with me.

Review 3：The shower was small and disappointingly ran out of hot water. There was not enough milk or coffee provided for a second person. The mint chocolate biscuits were a nice touch but not homemade as promised on booking.com.
Review 4：Our pleasant host, Carmel, gave us good advice re restaurants, how to get into town and where to park there. We had a bright and spacious room with a great view and comfortable bed. The breakfast was good.

Review 8：The variety for breakfast, more imaginative that the norm b&b we were at. Very efficiently run. Very clean throughout. Nice touch to have coffee facilities available in the lounge as well as in your room.
Review 9：This is a clean place a bit out of town with a sterile atmosphere. No river in sight, half the rooms towards a highway, half towards a backyeard.The breakfast was fine, though we didn't really feel like eating. Our two teenage kids were laughing in their room at 9:30 in the evening, and the mistress of the house came up to warn them to be quiet, after this she came up again and warned me that she would have us thrown out. We have never had anything like this happen to us in all our years of travel, and we spent the rest of our stay tiptoeing. It was pretty traumatic.
Review 10：The B&B was close enough to Athlone but away from the hustle and bustle. The rooms were clean and well appointed. Ours had a view of the lovely garden. The lounge was my favorite! I rise early and was able to write in my journal while drinking a cup of coffee. Very nice!
Review 11：Riverside View is a lovely comfortable B&B on the outskirts of Athlone. We got a very warm welcome and our room had everything that we could possibly need, including bottled water and kit kats to go with the coffee! Breakfast was lovely, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals,etc and cooked breakfast to order. I even got a lovely de-caf coffee made with skim milk! It was lovely to be able to get breakfast early on a Sunday morning as we had to leave early. As it is out of town you need a car but if you have transport it is well worth the 10 minutes for the peace and quiet of this B&B.

Review 13：In athlone for a course so this was very close by.Carmel was great and welcoming.there is a lounge area with a telly, fridge and microwave which was really practical.the scrambled eggs were delicious.also nicely decorated for christmas.As it was cold in the morning, Carmel's husband had de-iced the car windows-so helpful!

The welcome was friendly and the provision of a pastry with the tea-making facility was very thoughtful. The location was excellent, near the motorway yet far enough so the sound of traffic as not heard, and near the town but not so close so there was a rural feel to the locality.

Review 63：Family room en suite door hard to open, shower very small, toilet hard to flush, while it takes ages for water to heat. The bed head and side tables are not attached to bed, so that when leaning back the side tables wobbled and the head of the bed creaked against the wall. The TV screen is minute and the selection of available programs deplorable.
Review 64：Hostess Carmel is helpful and charming. Her cooking excellent and she is very attentive to customers needs. The family room was airy and delightful to be able to open the windows and look out at a short but lovely sunset (due to rain). Carmel provided lovely scones and anticipated our needs by leaving wine glasses once she saw we had a bottle of red with which to relax.

Soundproofing minimal, could hear toilet being used in next room. location very isolated in relation to town - you could not access this hotel by any other means than by car. parking at hotel poor, no marked spaces, and any parking available very tight.

This made the sitting room effectively not beingable to be used unless sitting at a breakfast table is acceptable andto some, it might.The room was small and although described accurately, left little maneuvering room.

Excellent breakfast cooked to order and served till 10 o'clock which suited our late nights! Only a five minute drive into Athlone makes it a very convenient base. Would definitely recommend thhis B& B with no hesitation.

The bed was very comfortable and ensured a good night's sleep This was a stopover after returning for a holiday in the North so we would not have time to explore the Athlone. Our hostess was very friendly and helpful and directed us to some eating places in town. The breakfast was superb with a personal touch. We would definitely stay here again.

The friendlyhostess made us feel very welcome, with little treats joining thetraditional tea and coffee in the rooms. Our first full irish breakfastwas generous and tasteful, a sunny and perfect start of a wonderfulfamily trip.
