Reviews for Doolin House

Review 1:the bed could have been more stationary. the room was a bit sparce.

Review 2:warm welcome, very helpful with our route planning, the breakfast was cooked fresh very tastey.

Review 3:Mike, Anne and Michele are lovely hosts. The room was exceptionally clean and the facility appears to be freshly painted. Irish breakfast is very good.

Review 4:We were late checking in and they let our room go. I sent an email but clearly should have phones ahead. The room we ended up was one they preferred not to let as it was smaller and quite noisy

Review 5:Great breakfast and good advice Locate close to a couple of good pubs Plenty of parking

Review 6:We did not know that the Doolin House did not accept credit cards. We had to drive to the Cliffs of Moher in the morning to find an ATM to get some cash

Review 7:Very noisy environment, you can hear every conversation in the rooms surrounding us. We were awoken at 1.30 in the morning when people came in. The bed was the most uncomfortable I have ever slept in.

Review 8:Location and people were very friendly.

Review 9:We were asked what time we wanted breakfast and we said 9. Arrived to the breakfast room at 9 and there was an empty table. We went to sit down and the man told us to come back in 10 or 15 minutes as someone else was coming down to sit there. Made absolutely no sense and was very unprofessional. We didn't even stay for breakfast in the end. Shocking behaviour from the owner

Review 10:Friendly staff. Room was perfect and value for money

Review 11:Problems with the shower. The shower blocked twice but the owner was apologetic and fixed it as soon as. There were other b&b's and hotels close by that were better value for money.

Review 12:The owners were friendly and we enjoyed the breakfast!

Review 13:Can't think of a single thing that I would improve at all. Very happy & would definitely stay there again.

Review 14:My first B&B & loved it. Great view, awesome food, comfortable all the way around. I felt at home & highly recommend The Doolin House to anyone visiting the area,

Review 15:Uncomfortable bed,no TV working in bedroom, breakfast service so slow choice of two cereals, fruit soft not eat able, wouldn't stay there again, not worth d price.

Review 16:Basic decor, bed linen was "grey" and old. Lack of seating in the room,(which was large enough to take it) shower mat was grubby and shower didn't work properly. Unable to connect to wifi.

Review 17:Convenient location

Review 18:didnt have a bad experience but i think the cost was because of location

Review 19:the location was perfect as i had my daughter with special needs and it was a hop skip and jump to pub with excellent food and music

Review 20:A very warm welcome, which included a complimentary irish coffee(which had a good measure of whiskey). And the breakfast, all be it nothing fancy, was delicious.

Review 21:Ann and Michael were very friendly and welcomed us into their family run b&b They were chatty and very helpful would recommend it as it was close to everything

Review 22:Very shabby, the room had one small mirror, no mirror in bathroom, holes in the wall in bathroom. The beds were the most uncomfortable beds I have ever laid on can't say I slept very much. Would not recommend it to anyone. Breakfast very basic.

Review 23:A very nice lady welcomed us in, good location, it was all down hill after that.

Review 24:Anne was incredibly kind and was a joy to talk to over a scrumptious full Irish breakfast. Doolin House is also conveniently located a short walk away from McDermott's Pub and a fun night of music!

Review 25:The was no where to relax other than being in bed. The rooms could be improved with some furniture to sit on- there was plenty of space to make it more comfortable. Most things in the room were cheap such as the one cup kettle and the bathroom fittings which kept falling off.

Review 26:Breakfast was hearty.

Review 27:Wonderful experience! Ann was personable and took great care of us! Perfect location to walk to pubs for dinner and frivolity. Spacious room, bathroom, and closet. Wonderful hot breakfast.

Review 29:Wonderful gentleman greeted us & brought us a lovely Irish Coffee to our room. He also made us an excellent breakfast in the morning.

Review 30:That we had to leave after 2 nights.

Review 31:Run more like a small hotel rather than a bed and breakfast. Food good, it is clean and quiet but has an excellent location. Several night time entertainment places a few hundred yards away. Very good internet from the bedrooms. Plenty of parking available and given a glass of Irish coffee on our arrival. Complimentary fruit and snacks in the room.
