Review 1：It was difficult to carry our luggage all the way from the car to the hotel since there is no road that leads up to the hotel. Didn't know they had a service to help with that until afterwards.

Review 3：Damp smell in the rooms. At the time of booking they said room will have a balcony, but did not have. No Lifts and meandering stairways. To go to restaurant one has to climb down form 4th floor to reception and then climb up to first floor. Taxi's cant drive to the hotel and Luggage's have to be ported from a drop off point. If you arrive at late hours, and call the hotel for directions or to pick up the luggage from the drop off point, it takes them a while to respond.

Dirty bathroom, trickling shower, power cuts constantly, sold to us as air con- there was only a fan in the room which was off with power more than it was on. Review 19：Bathroom was in terrible state with insect screen coming off the window and a bath with ground in grime in it. Very poor state of repair in the bathroom. It should have been overhauled at least 10 years ago. Wifi almost non exisistant in the bedroom and patchy at best in communal areas.

Review 37：No lift! We were only on 2nd floor but climbing those stairs all the time was tiring! Also, the pesky crows - don't turn your back on your food because the crows will swoop down and grab it. A bit pricey.

Review 38：Great location - right on the beach front. We had a sea view room which I would thoroughly recomend. We had a large balcony and it was great to sit out there and watch what was going on at the beach. Rooms fairly basic but excellent shower, TV and large fridge - no complaints at all. Wifi was a bit hit and miss - sometimes worked in the room, sometimes had to go to reception to connect - but great to have for free. Staff very friendly and couldn't do enough to help. A blown light bulb was replaced as soon as we reported it. They even sorted out an adaptor for us as we couldn't get ours to fit (my husband does like his cuppa!)

Top floor roomd sea view is good. Overall it is a good choice for a couple nights. It may not be a flash hotel, but I don't think you would find anything better with a\c, close to the ocean, for this price. P.S. beach is probably good for surfing only on bigger swells, 4-5 feet is not enought, waves close out and it is very shallow.

Review 57：The room we booked, after reviewing the information and photographs on line, was an "Executive Twin" but the room we were given was more of a budget motel. The room, although clean, had grubby and damaged paintwork and one cupboard door would not stay closed. The air conditioning did not work (fixed immediately) and there was no hot water. This resulted in some plumbing work being carried out. I indicated that I would be looking for my money back so that I could move to a better hotel. With this the staff moved us to a better room. I doubt whether we would use this hotel again.

Although this was finally resolved - with the money being full refunded - it spoiled the stay as I felt that my complaint was being fobbed off and I was patronised by middle management. It was only when the owner became involved that the issue was sorted. Because of this I would not return - nor would I recommend this hotel to others.

Review 63：Very dirty pool and pool terrace areas unfinished with a lack of seating etc. Not particularly safe either with broken grills at the bottom of pool and electric cables to the pool edge! Mix up with rooms on arrival, when we finally got the correct room with balcony we had no seating outside so could not make use of it! Staff ok (slightly uncomfortable winking constantly from one member of staff) although when booking a taxi we were initially told 700 Rps, then this went to 800, when sorting the bill on the last evening we were told 1000 Rps! This was at 11pm, thankfully it wasn't to late to re-arrange ourselves at the correct rates! Not informed the restaurant was actually part of the hotel until 3+ days into the stay. (All of the above was mentioned to staff / management). Generally the hotel seems unfinished in areas and unkept. Thankfully prior to our arrival we amended our booking to a cheaper room!

Review 65：Facilities need to be upgraded, the hot and cold water taps did not work too well, the backside rooms should have AC be it used or not, need some type of digital tv (tatasky/airtel) connections in the room, a poolside bar will be another thing to add on.

We landed there in the peak of the peak season and understandably things were not as good as in the other times. The staff is OK and so is the room-service. An average hotel at slightly high rates.

Review 68：While booking, the Booking Dot Com web site showed a picture of a room with a window overlooking the ocean. The booking caption said "Room with balcony view." What I got was a room overlooking a dumpster in the backyard and NO air-conditioning. I blame the Booking Dot Com web site for misleading me more than the poor state of the hotel. The Booking Dot Com owes me a refund and an explanation.

Review 75：Had requested for sea-facing room. I saw the sea followed by the pool facing my room in the first floor. Well, bathroom was clean but had to deal with water-clogs in the bathroom. Room recheck was necessary before our entry - door lock repaired after we moved in, of course within minutes. The fan in absence of a regulator was quite stubborn and would always spin at the max. speed.

Review 76：Location was excellent. Sea water was at a stone throw-away distance. Morning breakfast was good enough ;and the sitting area gave still more nearer view of the sea and the early morning fishermen acrobatics. Helpful staff. did enjoy sitting at the airy poolside to get a close-up of the road below, stalls, crowd, beach. enough sitting options in the room and balcony. And a nice and clean cupboard.

The blankets stink. the hotwater is not 24hrs as i found out in the night and if there is then it takes ages to come. It was neither mentioned or informed that we need to call the hotel to send staff to the entrance to main beach to get the luggage as the car/auto/bike dont go till the hotel.

Review 84：Once you take this as a Motel and not a Hotel then there is a lot to like. The best rooms are located on high (its higher than normal) 3rd floor which give excellent view. But you have to climb 3 floors(no elevator) . The staff is excellent. The pools is nice. The gym is very basic and they dont have a spa, Its just 1 guy giving you pedicure to ayurveda massage to deep tissue.

Review 85：Our room was pretty small with no space for our bags. The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner, as well as the rest of the hotel. The day we arrived the pool looked really dirty - on our second day they changed the water so it was ok. Although the pool area isn't quite welcoming as it needs some things to be fixed around.. There is no breakfast room nor do you get a breakfast menu. You can either have breakfast brought up to your room or have it at the pool area. Wifi didn't work in our room - only on the balcony (too hot to sit for long) which is facing down to the entrace area we had a strong signal. We didn't mind climbing the stairs to the room - although we wondered how it is possible that each and every step has another height... :)

Review 86：The location is just great - directly on the beach, great view from every balcony. The staff is nice and helpful Lot of English TV channels (e.g. HBO) and a good AC. You can spend a couple of days here and are comfortable enough. But don't expect a high standard.
