Review 1：Gouvia is only a long street with nothing very much to do in October.

Review 2：There is a beach directly at the Hotel. Buses to Corfu town and the northern part of corfu start directly in front of the Hotel.

Review 3：We were disappointed as we were unaware that it was the end of the season which meant that everything was closed. The resort only had a couple of bars and restaurants open and the facilities on site were also closed. No beach, just pebbles. Sea yukky due to it been a bay its more like a lake with swans on it!

Review 4：The apartment was very spacious and clean. The grounds were very pretty. The apartment had a lovely view of the bay. The pool was a great size, although maybe in summer there may not be enough room for everyone to sit around it.

Review 5：Not much in the area unless you have a car. Biggest problem was constant barking dogs - not the resorts fault in any way - but kept us awake many nights.

Review 7：Pool area and sunbeds were filthy, not clean enough to let our children use children's pool which was extremely annoying as was one of the reasons we chose govino bay. Pool bar was shut, shop was shut, place in need of repair, especially bathroom and some of windows locks were broken.

Review 11：-Paid wifi in the room was not working -The 2 bedroom is little more than the 1 bedroom, as the second bedroom is open towards the living and with low headroom. -the water in the bay is not very clean -a lot of noise from the other apartments in the villa

Review 14：Fabulous place, perfect location, 15 min. from the ferry. It has a very well maintained pool, as is close to a private beach. Apartments are very convenient, with enough space and good facilities.

Review 15：This resort has no access to the beach, so we have to drive to the near beaches every day (it was not a big problem because the island of Corfu is an extraordinary place with many different spots and lovely views). The free wi fi is accessible only at the front desk. We were extra charged 10 euro for wi fi in our room, lasting for 1 week (this is optional).

Review 16：The facilities are a bit older, but well maintained. The rooms were cleaned every day, the dirty towels replaced almost every day, the people at the front desk were helpful and polite. The surrounding is good, as the resort is situated on the main road but hidden from the traffic and noise. Near to the capital town of Corfu, just a 10 min drive. In general, the appartments are quite big, spaceous and suitable for families with children.

Review 17：Free Wi-Fi only at the reception. The beach was more covered by grass than by sand or stones.

Review 18：We went during low season and got a free upgrade to a two-room appartment with a big living space. Despite that the hotel is not in the center, there is a bus station just in front of the hotel from where buses leave all 20-30 minutes to the center of Corfu (about 20 minutes by bus). We could take a shower in the luggage storage room, after the check-out.

Review 20：Location, right on the bay - near all the local food places etc but away from the hustle and bustle!! Staff were friendly, cleaners cleaned daily and replaced towels etc. The locals are amazing...go and find your own fun! I'll be back next easter

Review 21：The pool was not in use - We realised it was 'out of season' but there was no indication on here or the Govino Bay website that the pool would not be up and running. This information really needs to be available as it would have made us not book here!!!

Review 23：Location is a little isolated. Okay for us as we hired a car and local bars were closed due to being the start of the season. Little noisy at times from the dogs across the way but you get used to it.

Review 24：Great location over looking the lake/Sea-Facilities were apt, included useful items like corkscrew/frying pan/electric kettle. Bottle of water in the fridge on arrival and sachets of tea and coffee on the dining table. Sofas and curtains of high quality-easy to block out light for those sleeping on the mezzanine. Sheets and towels changed daily by Cristina (our maid) very friendly lady. She would have cleaned every day if we had wanted but on some occasions we said no. Iron is available at reception if anyone wants to borrow it.

Review 25：The pool area looked very tired with grubby loungers and only 2 parasols offering shade. The pool bar had closed for the season and the pool itself was not very clean.

Review 82：If you are looking for a hotel with an actual beach then this is not your place because their beach is quite small but it's compensated by the face that it's not too far from neighbouring beaches. The wifi was not working at all in our rooms is we either have to go to the reception or restaurant to get connected which was inconvenient but also quite slow won't suggest it for business purposes

Review 83：I really liked the scenery and the overall layout of the place. Our apartment was really neat and the staff were really helpful and friendly. Not too far from town and other major beaches. There are also lots of nice tavernas to eat at in the area. Lots of activities that could be arranged for guests to do for instance we had the opportunity to do a bit of sight seeing, BBQ boat trip which I will definitely recommend and horse riding but please be aware some of these activities are quite a distance from govino bay. Anyone looking for a family friendly holiday or a nice quiet enough break in Corfu staying here will tick all those boxes.

There were no toasters but we asked for one and it was brought to us very quickly. Review 94：On one day (of one week stay) returned to apartment to find that although cleaned to daily high standard, someone (assumed cleaners) had obviously been smoking in the room as apartment smelt heavily of cigarette smoke. As non-smoking party of two adults & four young children (one with cancer), this was unprofessional and insensitive. Isolated incident & not enough to spoil overall stay though.

Review 95：Complex & apartment were exceptional for Greece as they were clean, very well laid out with fixtures & appliances such as lights, shower & drainage all working. Air conditioning/heating was good. Handy shop on site stocking necessities. Plenty of nearby shops & restaurants and located only a 5/10 minute walk from Gouvia town centre & main beach. No.7 bus can be caught directly opposite entrance to complex every 20/30 mins and runs to Corfu town centre. Very happy, would recommend to others.
