Reviews for Villa Elena
Review 1:Indeed rooms are not big, indeed toilets and showers are separated, but who cares when authenticity is to be tasted!
Review 2:That's where you can experience what Greek hospitality mean! That's where you should go for: not material facilities but quality of heart. That's the way people used to live before, and it is still alive at Villa Elena :-) Thank you Manolis and Hara, may you be blessed by Godess Athena!
Review 3:There's nothing not to like - but it is worth mentioning that the toilet and shower, although exclusive to each room, are located a few metres across the courtyard. Also the rooms are quite small, but this is the case with most of the old houses within Lindos town - but the character of the building and the large rooftop terrace more than compensate.
Review 4:Charming rooms in a lovely old house in a great location within Lindos. Very convenient for the beach, the Acropolis and the town itself. Lovely views from the rooftop terrace and very friendly owner.
Review 5:Bathroom was outside Thé room and room was very small Have to pay cash even in booking.com hotel Accept credit cards
Review 6:Owner was very friendly and location is good
Review 7:The couple who manage the property was very helpful and welcoming, thank you Manoulis and Chara. We chatted a bit and it was nice to get to know them and that they wanted to know a bit about us and even offered their help with our activities there. The roof terrace was very nice, quite a large area too so at sunset I did my yoga there and before dinner we had couple of beers there and enjoyed the view. As I have already been to Rhodes many times and will surely come again, i hope I have a change to stay again in this lovely place.
Review 8:The family that live here are friendly and very very helpful, they greeted me with homemade biscuits and water and checked on me every time I came in and out to see if everything was ok, I go to Greece regularly and will definitely be staying here again
Review 9:Everything was great
Review 10:Amazing traditional greek house with full original character and charm in the heart of the old town. The family who own the hotel are lovely and as friendly as can be, there was fresh fuit and home made Pastries & sweets brought to us on arrival as a welcoming gift and really could not do enough to assist us. We had a family room that was comfortable, had good AC and a fridge for keeping drinks cold in the hot weather.
Review 11:Had a bit of a problem getting used to the outside loos and various keys to start with
Review 12:Loved the people who managed the property. Very friendly and the apartments are charming.
Review 13:Shower and toilet were separated from the room. But that was apparently local traditional way and every room has their own locked showers/toilets so it was ok.
Review 14:The family welcomed us very warmly to the Villa. They helped us to find a way to the beach and gave recommends to restaurants. Room was quiet and there was easy to sleep. Atrium and roofterrace were really nice. Whole place was clean and cosy. Host family was amazing!
Review 15:The toilet was separated from the room and there was not a lot of privacy, since our room overlooked a shared courtyard.
Review 16:The location was great and the over all space was quite charming with really great views from the terrace. The staff was very friendly and helpful, giving us suggestions of nearby beaches.
Review 17:Small room, needed some more space.
Review 18:Very nice place. The location was great near the center. The owners was so friendly with us. One night they offer some fruits and wine. It was very nice to talk with them. They used to be very kind by suggesting the places to visit and some nice traditional greek tavernas.
Review 19:Excellent family hotel situated in the middle of the village. A few minutes walk from all beaches (main beach, Saint Paul's bay...). The personnel is very nice and helpful. Manolis, Chara and their children were very helpful with us and have given excellent recommandations during our stay in Lindos.
Review 20:The hotel is a traditional Greek Villa and hospitalty of the owners is perfect.Villa placed at central of Lindos and very quite.Me and my wife had a very pleasant stay and next time we will definetly stay at the same Villa..Thanks to Villa Elena
Review 21:Tiny rooms, and I mean extremely tiny - you can barely walk around the bed and that's before you bring your luggage in. Bathrooms in a separate building. Donkeys walking by from morning 'til night, which are surprisingly noisy. The ad was deceptive, leading me to believe I was renting a house, not a couple of rooms in a hotel. Floors very dirty, broken glass on the floor.
Review 22:Nice rooftop terrace with breathtaking views. Charming central courtyard.
Review 23:I was surprised that the bathroom was in the traditional style of Greek houses and located outside of the bedroom. A little inconvenient for showering and any night trips to the bathroom.
Review 24:The property was ideally located and Elena and the family were lovely. The room was clean and had been freshly painted.
Review 25:Nothing
Review 26:The hosts were fantastic. They really went out of their way to ensure you had a good time.
Review 27:Great hospitality!
Review 28:toilet outside of the room
