Review 1：The cleaning at 8:30am front of your door on Sunday morning. This is not acceptable. I will come back to this place with pleasure but a hotel is a place to SLEEP before everything else, so I hope you will think about this ;-)

Review 4：My wife and I spent two nights in this wonderful hotel this past long weekend to celebrate my birthday. On the morning of my birthday, we were happily surprised to find that our breakfast table was festively decorated with beautiful fresh flowers, candle lights and wood carvings and the waiters brought champagne and three colored chocolate balls in a beautifully arranged form to our table for our breakfast. In the evening our dinner table stunned us even more with heart-formed shining silver decorations and flowers. The most touching moment of the evening was when the general manager brought in a beautiful birthday cake specially made for me by the hotel chef at the end of our 7 course dinner. It was one of my most memorable birthday dinners ! Both my wife and I were deeply moved by what the hotel had done for my birthday celebration and we felt so impressed by the care and kindness that the hotel had shown to its guests. We definately will come back to stay and want to strongly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to find a nice hotel for any kind of celebrations.

Review 6：The staff were excellent - they could not do enough for you, desperate to ensure that you relaxed an enjoyed yoursel. They even provided a wonderful guide for hiking. Food was excellent including afternoon tea which not only included tea and cakes but also a late lunch. The rooms were lovely and the beds very comfortable. The spa was amazing - even for an Austrian Spa and the entire hotel was beautifully clean

Review 7：Fabulous hotel easy parking in garage friendly personal check I and superb rooms. We opted for the half board and enjoyed a superb buffet style dinner at very reasonable prices. Breakfast the following morning was excellent with many choices. Facilities are wonderful with spa and pool together with relaxing gardens plentiful supply of complimentary soft drinks, spa side. Luxurious robes and towels fantastic scenery and charming staff. We certainly enjoyed our visit.

Review 10：We liked everything! Hotel is located few steps from the ski slope, thus making the ski trip super convenient. You park your car and forget about it until your departure! Great staff, great food! Their half board includes breakfast, lunch and dinner - all great! The wellness is great; excellent pool with panoramic views of the mountains and ski slopes, great saunas and relaxation rooms with water beds and headphones. Total relaxation and enjoyment as the wellness area isn't to crowded. Excellent hotel where we continually come back, at least once a year...

Review 15：Problem with parking Got a very bad facial (she used needles). They had corporate party which was awful, forget about the romantic dinner. The location is not perfect, you dont have direct access to the slopes. When we have our feedback, the management agreed with our complains and gave us " some salt":))

Review 18：We loved the welcome, the 5 course evening menu, the breakfasts, the spa facilities, the outdoor and indoor play areas for the children, the outdoor seating with views, the comfortable bedrooms, the smiling and always helpful staff and the location was ideal for day trips.

Review 19：The atmosphere in the restaurant was spoilt by too many very young children - read babies - whose screams are not really what you want when eating such good food. There were also too many other slightly older children who seemed to be out of control of the parents, and were running about the restaurant. Again, not really what you need. There were also many other well behaved children, seems some parents are just not good ones. The pool area was generally ok, but a couple of times, the kids were running riot. The reception staff acknowledged this issue, but in my opinion they need to set some rules with children's ages that are allowed to stay.

Review 20：This was our second stay, and we were really looking forward to the food. It didn't disappoint, just fabulous. There's a fixed menu each night with 3 choices of main course with 4 or 5 other courses. If you don't like anything, they will try to accommodate.

Also for toddlers it would be great to have a high chair with belt. However, we highly recommend this hotel as we had a wonderful stay other than above points.

Review 51：For some reason the hotel decided to close the outside part of the pool and outside jacuzzi. We loved it in our first visit and missed it during the second. Otherwise, it was perfect!

Review 52：It was our second visit, so we knew what to expect. Luckily it was 3 years ago, so we forgot some details and enjoyed it again. Usually the hotel is quite pricey, but this week we got special discount. You can expect the best food in Austria, great amenities including swimming pool (with lots of kids), three saunas, relaxation area with water mattresses beds, free parking, etc. Besides, it is located just on the opposite side of the 6-men chair lift and 5 minutes walk from the gondola station. You can almost ski down to the hotel (if not the road you need to cross).

Review 54：Absolutely wonderful!(This was our 3rd visit,for my birthday.) We were upgraded to a room with terrace and superb views. Loved everything! Cleanliness.Decor..Fabulous food at dinner(5 course meal :gastronomic not ordinary) and breakfast (huge choice ,fresh honey from honeycomb,champagne etc...).and they made me a birthday cake,decorated table,lovely surprise! Like a 5 star hotel,not 4.High quality.Lovely smell of wood everywhere (wood furniture) ,pool in a glass enclosure with snow covered mountains around,sun loungers inside and outside,amazing views,friendly staff,atmosphere. Best hotel in the world(and we have visited hundreds around the world,so much better than chains,family run) can't wait to go back!

Review 56：The hotel is conveniently located just 20 steps from the Alpendorf ski slopes.The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The half board includes breakfast, snack (pretty much a fool blown lunch) and dinner. The food is excellent!!! All facilities are great, especially the spa area with water beds relax room. Everything is great and we are definitely coming back! It is a clean, well designed and warm hotel where you feel like at home...

Review 57：I never ate the afternoon meal (a sort of expanded gouter.) Maybe a cakeor two and some coffee, but the full array of hot and cold buffet seemedde trop! Here and there some furnishings (crack in bathroom sinks,lifted corner on rug in basement) needed a fixing.

Review 58：This is a classy big hotel but with a family run sort of atmosphere.High levels of service but in no way obsequious or intrusive. Lovelysetting, right across from chair lift. Very friendly staff at reception,the restaurant (Hi Doro and Huba!) and bar (Frank is a real asset.) Roomservicing and housekeeping were immaculate. The pool, quiet rooms andsauna are a real addition to the daily routine and epitomise that'wellness' idea that the Austrian tourist industry promotes. Thefood was of the very highest quality, providing adequate choice from abespoke daily menu, with not a single dish that you would not haveagain. The breakfast buffet was the best I have seen.

Review 59：The Hotel was fantastic. I would highly recommend it to anyone. We are accustomed to staying in 5 Star Hotels in Dubai and found everything aspect of this Hotel to exceed our expectations. Rupert is a fantastic host and we will definitely be returning.

Review 60：Having to leave. The village is a little quiet in aug/sept, with some hotels and bars closed for the season. St. Johann is to far to walk really.

Review 61：Such a beautiful location. All the staff were great. I don't understand an earlier comment about the food, it really is fantastic. But, and it's a small but. If you're doing the half-board deal, the evening meal follows a set pattern most of the week. There's little choice, but we only had a couple of dishes that didn't work for us. You have a small starter, followed by a soup. No choice for the first two course, either than yes or no. Then a salad buffet (all you can eat basically, and it's good). Then comes the main, a choice of 3 with a veggie option. Dessert was either a one-option served dish, or a small choice ftom the buffet. The Sunday evening meal is a 5-course no choice one, though the kitchen seemed accomodating if you didn't like a course. All the food is immaculately presented, and children can get their own buffet, and free drinks.
