Review 1：Vlycha Beach is not easily accessed by public transport. It is possible to visit Lindos village on foot, or by walking and catching a bus from the main road, but unless you have a car or pay for taxis you could feel a bit stuck, especially if the weather should turn rainy. But its a nice place to be stuck!

Review 2：The hotel is located in a prime spot right by a top quality beach, which is clean, safe and easy for swimming. Beach towels are provided. All the staff were friendly and helpful and made sure guests felt well looked after, for example an early breakfast was arranged for me at 4.15 on my last morning. Compared with some of its larger neighbours the Lindian Jewel has a tranquillity and calm which I appreciated.

Review 11：House maid never washed the dirty glasses in the room. Once I left them on the floor and she put them back on the desk without washing. Come on! It should not be that hard to get it that I wanted them to be washed. I left it on the floor for some reason. Also, one towel, the bed sheet and one pillow case had stains on them. Not very hygienic, is it? Wi-fi was erratic. From time to time It stopped working out of sudden. Shower was extremely small and enclosed with curtains. Welcome back to 80's.

Review 12：Calm beach with crystal clear sea. Nice restaurant and bar with reasonable prices. Staff was extremely helpful and warm. Room was well furnished.

Review 13：Rooms recently refurbished, but had and overall lack of care for details (aircon pipes stiking out of the wall, minuscule shower, poor quality furniture) The toilet on the beach was old and filthy. Uncomfortable bed, I could feel springs pushing on my back when sleeping PRICE! It costed us TWICE as much as our hotel in Rhodes town earlier in the same week, and for the extra money we were expecting something more. Also, sunbed and umbrella were not included, and we had to pay a daily extra to use them

Review 14：Perfect location, in a quiet beach, only few minutes drive from Lindos. The staff was very polite and helpful. The view from our room was amazing! The beach was very clean and hardly ever busy.

Review 19：The Easter advertised meal was a complete disaster. Reception had our departure date wrong and our room was not cleaned and they thought we were leaving. We then proved our dates luckily with our confirmation emails. They did apologise but this left us feeling awkward.

Review 21：Don't go at the end of the season. The bar closes early, there are very few dishes on the menu and the whole area is quiet. At the end of the season Lindos has more going for it in terms of atmosphere and restaurants. Also the family rooms despite being "garden view" are more like bunkers overlooking a fire hydrant with trees above. A plus is they remain dark early in the morning if you have young children.

Review 22：There was plenty of parking and fairly easy access to the main roads by car. We accessed the whole island from here as a base. There is no safe walking route to Lindos so you need a car or rely on buses. The room was very clean but no wifi.

Review 32：Not much really. Wifi was a little hit and miss as the Villa is a little way from the hotel but thats only to be expected. Also there isn't a great deal of choice of restaurants at the bay so you will need a car / taxi to find alternatives.

Review 33：We stayed in one of the hotels Vilas. It had an excellent view of the bay with an excellent pool area, which did mean we didn't want to stray too far. Bedrooms on the lower floor were comfortable and provided a good nights sleep. Staff were extremely helpful and helped to make our stay relaxed and enjoyable. The Villa was kept spotlessly clean. The food in the restaurant was good and as others have testified breakfast is excellent. Lindos is a short taxi ride away between 8-12 euros depending on taxi drivers! Take the boat trip with Capt Manolis and have the calamari at the restaurant he recommends - excellent.

Excellent views over the mediterranean Delicious breakfast buffet and a la carte menu served in the restaurant. Although the hotel doesn't have it's own pool, we were able to use the pool at the hotel next door free of charge.

In the UK it is against the law, personally I think it should be down to a respect others rule, if they stopped the no smoking at breakfast or had a dedicated area for breakfast smokers this would be very good. All hotels abroad are like this, not just Lindian Jewel

Review 55：The shower! We had no warm water for a couple of days. Despite our comments on this it was not fixed. We think the man at the frontdesk thought we made a joke about the water and did not take us seriously. Fortunately the lady manager finally understood we had not had hot water for real for 3 days and she fixed it right away. The wifi was very "wobbly", did not work very well inside the hotel but excellent at the beach!

Review 56：The location of the hotel is good. Very close to the beach. The staff at the beach-bar is very nice. They remembered what we ate the day before. Made good suggestions! The mojito's are very good! The hotel was very clean, the beds are excellent, the food at the restaurant was very good.

Review 58：Staff is very friendly. Rooms are clean. The breakfast was included at price, but is a little scanty, though the hotel's restaurant is quite good. The beach is huge and clean. Hotel located at a Vlycha Beach, approximately at 1.5-2 km from Lindos town, but there is a mountain between Vlycha and Lindos and there is no convenient direct footpath to town, so you need a car if you wish to visit it.

Review 59：The staff were very nice and helpful. In particular the manager Nikitas was a great guy, very funny, charming and helpful. The beach is beautiful and is immediately below the hotel. The restaurant and bar are great. We will stay here again if we go to Lindos.

Review 62：We rented a car from a local rental company recommended by the hotel. The car was in a quite bad condition, dirty and not of the same brand as we had booked. The deal wasn't managed as professionally as we are used to. We will definitely look for Sixt or Hertz next time. (I don't blame the hotel about this, but I suggest that they recommend some other company in the future.)

Review 63：The location is great, very close to the best beach on Rhodos. We did rent a car to be able to find other nice beaches, but we didn't use it very much. Not that many restaurants nearby, but it was easy to take a taxi to Lindos (where the food is great, especially at restaurant Dionysos) for about 10 € in each direction. Our room was simple, but clean and had a sea view. Not a single mosquito during the whole week! The staff was friendly. A few staff members may have seemed a bit tired though. Nikitos however, who worked in the reception in the evenings, was very friendly and helpful, even more than you can expect. He did put a lot of energy to make us satisfied with our stay at Lindian Jewel. For instance, we were a bit late with arranging the transfer back to the airport. As it was too late to make a reservation for the shuttle bus, we had to book a taxi for 55 € instead. When Nikitos heard about this, he really tried to find a better option for us. That didn't work out, BUT then he suggested paying more than half of the taxi trip from his own pocket (30 €!). That's amazing service!

Review 64：They charge sunbeds/umbrellas. Satisfactory breakfast, but they could change it a bit more often and try to use more local products. Limited soundproof at the rooms which are comfortable but need some minor restoration (eg windows, television).

Review 65：The hotel is on the seafront. Beautiful view from our balcony (second floor), nice breakfast place at hotel’s restaurant and excellent staff service, especially at reception. Lindos by car is 10 minutes.

The room had a fantastic sea view and was equipped with all the necessary things. It was daily cleaned. Breakfast on the panorama terrace with beautiful sea view. Free shuttle from airport.

Review 70：The road to the hotel was similar to an hare and hound race, the litter was disturbing. The area of the beach chairs and umbrellas was also dirty with litter. One beach we went to was extremely clean and was raked over. An hotel of this standard should ensure their piece of beach is also clean and raked over.

Review 74：We were disappointed with the treatment we got in the hotel restaurant. When asked if they serve semi-sweet white wine as a house wine they answered yes. What they served us was dry white wine with sprite! The waitress we talked to was very polite about it, but when we asked for wine instead, dry since they obviously didn't have semi-sweet after all, we were greeted with irony and jokingly called "drinkers" by the head waiter (presumably). We didn't find the joke as funny as he did.

Review 77：Clean, tidy, simple. I am always very critical about the bathroom. It was very simple, but seemed to be renovated recently. We also seemed to have the room with the best view. We were sharing a huge balcony with the adjacent room, but we did not see much of the neighbors, so we pretty much had the balcony only for ourselves.

Review 78：The hotel doesn't have his own territory, no entertaiment, nowalking promenede along the sea, can be really boring if u arealone, but we are a young couple and rented a car, so it was ok. Torent a car is my advice. U'll see many nice places and eat outin good tavernas.

Review 89：Lovely views of beach and mountains; in May, a very quiet seaside 'hide-away' away from city bustle of Rhodes. Scrummy breakfast buffet;probably the best of 3-4 this trip. Fabulous value-for-money. Niceterrace overlooking ocean. Convenient, reasonably priced store thatstayed open late (for 'happy hour' munchies). Pleasant, if'quirky' check-in guy. Still laughing at his comment: "NOone has ever stayed at Lindian Jewel one night! (Before)?!"
