Review 1：Complicated parking. Very small room. For breakfast was everything, but not the most important: quality omelette and vegetables (just one small bowl with pepper and plastic tomto) at the 4 star hotel weak.

Review 4：The staff was not very kind. When booking over booking.com we made note that we are traveling with kids and that we need connected rooms. We finally ended up in separate rooms wnot even next to eaxh other and lady at reception even gave us lesson on how we were supposed to call them in order to book appripriate room.

Review 6：It is really not an issue but when I asked at the reception for nearest ATM they've sent me out to walk around 150m while there was ATM in hotel premises, hidden under the steps. Maybe it was not working that they or it was newly deployed so hotel stuff wasn't aware of it.

Review 13：It was written that there is free private parking.when I made the reservation a wrote I need a parking and that was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel. When we arrived they told us tha parking is full, which was absolutely disappointing because we had no much time in Zagreb and wanted to visit the town and had no time to look for other hotels. Finally we found paid public parking near the hotel, but they could at least sent an e-mail that the parking place is not guaranteed and there are not enough places for all costumes, especially when I had remarked it in the booking form. They compensated us with a bigger room which was nice.

Review 17：We had reserved our room exactly one month prior to our coming and made it a point to make sure we get a smoking room, for which we got confirmation. When we checked in, receptionist told us that our smoking room is NOT available and that we had to check in to the non-smoking room and only one day after they would transfer us to our smoking room. We have naturally refused it and insisted on our reserved smoking room, actually we were shocked that something like that could have happened. After few minutes arguments, they had finally agreed to allow us smoking in that available room. We consider this to be very unprofessional, as obviously someone in that hotel did not do his / her job properly and made a huge mistake by giving our reserved room to someone else, we find it incorrect and disrespectful towards ourselves, given the fact that we reserved our room one month ahead. Something like this incident should have never happened in the hotel that praise itself to be highly desired by the guests, hence guests would not expect inconveneince of this kind.

Temperature control in the room was not working (not posible to adjust temperature in the room) When I complained to front desk that is too hot in the room, the answer was to open the window?!? 3. The bed was not queen size bed, there were 2 separate beds pushed together to look like 1 big bed.

Review 39：We really liked the rooms which were very modern. We were given an upgrade which was very nice of the staff. The breakfast was the best part. It was a full buffet. They even served champagne. Free parking in back of the hotel was very nice since parking in Zagreb can get expensive. It's about 5 blocks to the hopping part of Zagreb and a safe walk even late at night. We'll be back!

Review 40：Hotel was very near the train station and it's only a 10 mins walk to the main square. Well equipped and spacious room. Breakfast was fantastic, there were lots of variety. Free coffee and water was provided 24hrs at the lobby. Wifi was a little slow but that was alright for us.

Review 49：We chose BW Astoria due to its location - very close to the Sheraton Hotel which was the venue for our international seminar and within walking distance from nearly all Zagreb landmarks. And from the very start we liked the lobby interior and the receptionists' attitude, especially after we were kindly offered a free upgrade for two executive rooms! Our executive room was spacious and cosy, with two windows and a view of the Zagreb Cathedral beautiful spires. Besides, the room had a lot of perks that made our stay really enjoyable. The staff were always ready to help no matter what we asked for. the breakfast can really please all tastes. We highly recommend the Best Western Premier Astoria Hotel if you want to feel home away from home.

Review 58：The Astoria was the last hotel on our eight month trip around Europe. We finished our travels here on a great note as we were upgraded to an executive suite for our two nights, which meant we had a lovely big room and bathroom. We found staff, both at the front desk and in the restaurant, to be efficient, helpful and friendly. We ate at the restaurant the first night as we'd arrived late in the evening. The food was just what we felt like, tasty and reasonably plain, and it was great having the buffet so we didn't have to hang around being served after a long day of travel. The breakfasts were really really good. There was so much variety: lots of delicious breads, cooked food, cold cuts and cheese, fresh fruit, cereal, yoghurt, fresh vegetables, and cakes too. Some things changed from one day to the next which is always nice. I also liked that the hotel has an inviting, carpeted staircase near the lobby so that you aren't skulking up and down the back stairs. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel - our 66th bed since leaving home!

Review 107：- kettle had no electric plug nearby, had to be transported to the small desk - cleanliness was not up to standards: I had to clean the inside of the wardrobe shelf myself, and under the bed was rubbish (medicine package etc.) - tea cup was not cleaned twice, though I had complained about it the first time - guests' wishes are not respected: I kept the towels on the rack to use them again, but they were removed each morning - I had also complained about this the first time, but it happened again. Would suggest that the hotel removes the respective requests from the bathroom walls if they have no meaning. I wonder how the hotel got a Eco-management certificate.
