Review 1：Rhodes itself - though that's not the fault of the hotel. Rhodes old town is nice enough for a day or half a day. Same goes for Lindos Acropolis and old town. The best thing about Rhodes is the ferry to the smaller islands.

Review 10：It was a day of our wedding preparation and we stayed overnight as well. Absolutely lovely views during the daytime and very quiet and peaceful during the night. We were actually surprised when we first walked into the room as it was better than we expected - spottlessly clean, very bright, beautiful views. We would definitely recommend this hotel as a good value for money and the staff was amazing.

Review 11：My 18-year old daughter and I have just spent 5 fabulous days at Ville di Lindos. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very pleasant - the beds were comfortable, the aircon worked perfectly and the inner door to the balcony provided perfect soundproofing (not that we often needed it). A 20-second walk took us to the beautiful pool, with its landscaped gardens and sea view. Breakfast was a treat - yoghurt, fruit, breads and pastries of all kinds, cooked sausages etc too - and the Greek cuisine in the restaurant was so good that we ended up eating in every night rather than go out to Lindos as we'd expected. Irene and her sons went out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable (including running us into Lindos when we missed the bus) - thank you, everyone! We didn't hire a car, as we were mainly there to relax, but Lindos was only a 5-minute bus (1.80 euro) or taxi (£7 euro) taxi ride away, with bus stop at the end of the hotel drive, and Rhodes Town only an hour or so from Lindos by frequent bus (£5.50 euros each way). You can also catch buses to Pefkos, Lardos and various few other places (Irene provides timetables), though a car would be useful if you wanted to explore the interior and the remoter beaches at your leisure. Ville di Lindos was a wonderful place to stay - when we return to Rhodes I won't be looking for anywhere else!

No top luxury, but the best quality and you'll notice the hard work to do their best, very convenient, comfortable and relaxing. None of us wanted to leave...

Review 29：If you don t have a car, it is difficult to get anywhere - for lack of proper public service (the bus was 30 min late and overcrowded), lack of sidewalks, and expensive taxi rates. If you have a car, not far to 2 beaches. The owners were so friendly and gave us lifts as well.

Review 44：My partner and I just arrived back from an 11 night stay at this Hotel and can not think of one negative thing to say. Ville Di Lindos is a family run hotel, everyone works so hard to make sure all of the guests are happy. All of the staff are so helpful and friendly, they couldn't do enough for us. Water was waiting for us when we were arrived (which was much appreciated after arriving in the early hours of the morning). The rooms look exactly like they do in the pictures, simple but have everything you need, and they are SO clean. Pool is big and overlooks the sea and it has such a relaxing atmosphere, no fights for sunbeds,never busy, we could totally relax the whole time. Food is great, we planned to do breakfast and lunch ourselves but couldn't resist after a few days, great breakfast buffet and lunch menu. We also has 3 evening meals here all of which were lovely. would 100% recommend this hotel, it made our stay in Lindos just perfect. We will be back!

Because of the location it was quiet on a night, no rowdy people keeping us awake.. The restaurant on site serves breakfast, lunch & dinner at reasonable prices, everything we ate was lovely & tasty. It easily accommodates about 60 people so may be an ideal place to stay if you're having a wedding in Lindos, they might even lay on your reception at an extra cost....

Review 67：Only one tiny downfall is location. It's about 2 miles from Pefkosand about 3 miles from Lindos (the towns either side). Too far to walkin the heat of the day but there is a regular bus service and many taxisin the area that you can just flag down.

I asked the owner if there was anywhere locally I could hire a scooter, they had one delivered to me within 30 minutes and at a great price. Staff could not be more friendly or helpful I was very sad to leave. The food was the best I ate during my entire trip. The pool is very well maintained as are the rooms and grounds. The family that run everything are extremely warm and friendly but you still retain complete privacy during your stay. Location is great half way between Pefkos and Lindos (a mile or two from each) with views of the sea.

We planned to eat out a lot but ended up eating most days in the restaurant. 2 words... Mussels Saganaki.. Review 79：The cleaning ladies didn't put soap and shampoo in the bathroom every day (we were 4 people and there was just 1 soap and 1 shampoo for 4 people in 3 days,which is not what you expext from a 3 stars hotel); in august the area where the hotel is become extremely hot,it is in a valley sorraunded by mountains and there's no air at all!To sleep you need to use the air conditioned and if you don't like it sleeping is impossibile; the wifi sometimes didn't work well!

Review 85：They advertise as a beach resort, but to go to the closest beach (tiny with no amenities) you need to walk 2 km in the scorching sun, mostly on a very circulated road. The breakfast is optional, but I don't advise you to pay for it as it is unappealing and the coffee is poor.

Review 96：This was our 6th year at Ville Di Lindos. If it wasn't perfect we wouldn't keep going back. The more you go there the harder it is to leave. Irene and her family are excellent hosts. . I hire a car to get around, but I love driving. There is a bus stop just outside VdL which will take you to Lindos, Pefkos or even Rhodes Town. Taxis to and from Lindos or Pefkos are easy to get and not expensive. I rely on peoples reviews of hotels and if you are reading this, so do you! You would not be disappointed with Ville di Lindos.

Review 97：Nothing. We cut our trip short to spend a few days visiting Karpathos at a higher priced 4-star hotel, and in retrospect we would have definitely preferred staying in Lindos!

Review 98：I recently spent a week here with my girlfriend and Ville di Lindos is just a magical place. I have never been to a hotel where I felt more comfortable, at home, and welcome than Ville di Lindos. Much of this is due to the AMAZING family who runs the hotel with their three sons. They genuinely enjoy making their guests happy, and they will literally go out of their way to make your trip amazing. Here is my review for the different aspects of the hotel: Rooms: Simple, comfortable, and CLEAN! The furnishings are not fancy, but then again who cares? We spent most of our time outside, and when we did come home we were welcomed by a perfectly clean room and a super comfortable bed. Could not ask for more! Staff: The staff makes the difference at this place... Like I said before, we have never felt more welcome at a hotel. I used to work at Club Med, another resort known for its exceptional staff, and even they do not come close to the amazing service this family provides. It was truly an amazing experience to see them at work. Location: Lindos is the best place to stay in Rhodes, and this hotel is perfectly located near the city with a wonderful view of the ocean. Furthermore, it is walking distance to the best (most isolated) beach in Lindos with free lounge chairs. The bus stop is also only 100 meters from the hotel. Food: Other than the pasta (which tastes ordinary), the food at Ville di Lindos is exceptional and affordable. Make sure to try the hummus... it is the best I've tried in Greece! All in all, this hotel truly deserves it's high ranking. I have never been compelled to write a review in the past, but it is the least I can do to thank them for my amazing vacation.

Review 99：I have been here with my wife for 1 week. There are several motivations leading me to eventually come back to this hotel: 1. Cleaness of the room 2. Warm reception by hotel owner 3. Very good dinner 4. close to Lindos, but far from noises 5. close to the best beach very satisfied of our accomodation!

Review 100：The closest beach or store is 5 minutes drive - you need a car (~25eur/day), not walkable anywhere. Kitchenette has no microwave. Food is not that good, although the same applies to most local restaurants. Ants/mosquitoes/bugs/weird huge grasshoppers visiting ground floor rooms all the time, when asked to spray them out claimed it's b/c of our food, but they were there even before we moved in. Terrible TV signal. It seemed to me that hotel pictures were different at the time of booking but I can't be sure.

Review 109：From Day one, this felt like an exceptional place to stay. The manager and her sons were very welcoming and nothing was too much to ask. They were always on hand for any information on the area or to have a chat about the current economic situation in Greece. The food was outstanding to the point that we were disappointed with any other places we ate at, and even after going to stay in another place for the second week of our stay, we kept coming back here for dinner pretty much every night. The variety, the flavours, the care that goes into their food preparation is exceptional. (We watched an octopus dry for 3 days in the sun before it was cooked to complete perfection.) The wifi works everywhere, around the pool and even in the bedrooms. For those who come with children: many parents had baby monitors with their babies in the bedrooms and this would reach to the swimming pool/dining area, which I think would be something I would really appreciate as a parent on holiday. Despite me always saying that I wouldn't go back to a place, because there are another gazillion places to explore, I can assure you that I will definitely go back to Ville de Lindos.
