Review 1：Tulamben is a very small place and if you are not very much into diving or snorkling there is not so much to do in the center of Tulamben - but many nice excursions to do.

Review 2：Whole family took diving certificate together with the excellent support of Ricardo, the owner. He was extremely friendly, pedagogic and left my family with a great feeling of achieving a challenge together. Fantastic experience !!! We spent a wonderful New Years Eve aswell.

Review 3：We read about this place in our Travelguide and before that had stumbled over this place at booking. We decided to try it for a couple of days but were so amazed by this place that we decided to change our plans and stay for another week! The owner was kind enough to take some time and inform us about Tulamben and all the advantages. He even organized a BBQ for the guests. This place is perfect for diving and snorkeling. The bungalows are new, clean and really comfortable! We highly recommend this place!

Review 4：There are things in thr rooms that need to be fixed and better cleaning is needed too, as you can see dust under the table and on the chair near the table and in the closet.

Review 11：Great dives! Our dive guide was really great!! Nice pool, beautiful rooms with nice outside showers. German owners so there are many Germans. Given that we are German, too, that did not bother us :D

Review 12：Everything else! Staff barey speaks english and is very slow. Opening/closing the balcony door is tough as it is an old sliding door. Water pressure is very weak, sometimes just a tiny bit of water. Indonesian breakfast is not available before 9 even though Breakfast opens at 7h30. We could not pay by credit card so had to go in a hurry withdraw cash. No one even checked our passport, took our luggage or showed us our room when we arrived. I wouldn't recommend the diving centre since they didn't even ask us what our experience was or if we had any issues...

Review 14：We had no bad experiences. I would only recommend renewing some of the diving equipments since they were a bit torn out from daily use. The location is exclusively diving oriented, nothing to do or see in town.

Review 22：Hv to cross the street before you go for snorkeling& diving but we know it already before we book. If you not deep sleeper you will hear chickens, dogs etc during the night. Suggestion turn on your airconditioning in your bedroom, close the bathroom door. Bathroom is half open ( Balinese style) nice but disavantage insect will come easily to visit & also hear your next door neighbour. When we want to check out & pay, problem with connecting with the bank. It is not hotel fault but still is not handy especially when we have to go to Amed to catch our Ferry and we have to get cash from ATM

Review 26：Initially it is a bit of a shock to the system to go from homestead accommodation to a european management style diving establishment in the culturally dysfunctional village of Tulamben. However, we found that while the disengaged local attitude was hard to take, the european - predominately german - community - style interaction at Ocean Sun Dive was strongly growing on us during our stay, and the owners went out of their way for the guests.

Review 31：Our biggest problem was with the driver who took us to Sanur. He was reckless, and I had to make a complaint to Ricardo, the owner. Super hard rain one night led to a roof leak, but a quick towel took care of that. I would recommend.

Review 41：Wonderful new hotel. The bungalows are big, clean, light with lovely bathroom. There is a nice pool and beautiful garden with great view of Agung Volcano. Breakfast was plentiful and very delicious as all the menu in the restaurant. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We tried for first time scuba diving and we are very thankful to our instructors Ricardo and Nils from Ocean Sun Dive Center for showing us the beauty of the underwater world. Thank you very much! We would recommend this hotel and place to our friends!

Review 55：It's a very nice accommodation. Beautiful scenary, quiet surroundings. Lovely place to stay! Rooms are large and clean. Great outdoor bathroom!

Review 57：Nasi goreng for breakfast tasted hard like it was leftover from day before. We also ordered the big mouth burger which was pretty gross. Think the burger meat was from frozen and so processed. But other food was good and the hotel is just gorgeous!

Review 58：Beautiful hotel. Huge rooms, lovely bathrooms, you get bath towels and pool rows. Pool is beautiful and gets the sun almost all day and the choice cor breakfast was a good variety and tasty. Plenty of places to eat in the surrounding street.

Review 59：It seemed to us that our dive master for the second dive of the day, to the coral gardens, was not sure where we are going or perhaps he knew something we did not. But the dive felt like a waste of time, as we did not get to actually explore the garden or the reefs to its west (?).

Review 70：The sheets has spots, and roosters crow before 5am, i was told that is common for any near by hotels that are not by the ocean. Not enough hot water for shower. But is a still very good deal. 床单有小点, 鸡啼，不靠海那边的酒店都有同样问，冲凉热水不够。

Review 79：I was lucky enough to rightly choose ocean resort for my 4 night stay in tulamben . It was extremly clean comfortable and value for money With a choice of breakfast options included . The view of mt agnun in the backdrop added romance and a mt feeling to an otherwise beach resort location. I would strongly recommend the hotel to solo travellers and couples alike

Review 80：The airco wasn't strong enough to keep the room cool, or maybe it's just placed to high in the room? Staff wasn't really friendly, they didn't clean our room, even though we put on the please clean our room sign and my boyfriend had to ask for a clean towel twice before getting it. We didn't really feel welcome, maybe because we weren't diving but went snorkeling, because we thought visability wasn't very good at the moment. Tulamben is small and there isn't much to do, this makes a place that feels comfortable extra important, I think.
