Review 1：The reservation desk staff were friendly but their recommendations for things to do or see were very general- 'hiking and swimming'. Unfortunately they did not have a map of Karystos or the area. We explored on our own, walking up towards Castello Rosso and found the Montofoli winery and attended a wine tasting and were given a useful map of the area. We got great advice from the car rental company on secluded and beautiful beaches, like Potami and the nearby waterfalls. The staff also treated the pool with chemicals the afternoon we arrived, so we could not swim. Then at around 11 am our first morning it was treated again. It seems that pool cleaning/treatment should happen at night or early morning.

Review 2：We loved the location of the hotel, and the view overlooking the ocean. The poolside lounge area was very relaxing and the rooms were spotless. The hotel was a great base to explore Evia. The staff arranged a taxi to pick us up from the Rafina-Marmari ferry upon arrival. We had to leave early on Sunday morning to catch the ferry back to Rafina. The overnight staff made sure we had coffee and a quick breakfast. We much appreciate it.

Review 3：Anastasia has a quiet location on the edge of town. My room was large and well decorated and had a great private balcony overlooking both the town and harbour.The room was cleaned each day to perfection.The breakfasts were delicious with a great range of foods to suit all tastes.The staff ( George and Ioanna and their team are professional,attentive and very friendly). My thanks to them all.To sum up, I spent a wonderful 17 days in August/September in this great hotel in the beautiful town of Karystos with its fantastic beaches, walks and facilities.

Review 4：The staff are friendly and attentive, the facilities new and clean and comfortable without being ostentatious or stuffy, and the location was fantastic (pool overlooking the sea! Restaurants walking distance!). Highly recommended.

Review 8：This modern comfortable family-run hotel is a gem. From the email contact I had with receptionist Ioanna and help with ferry times from George to the beautiful design of the hotel to take in the amazing view of the Aegean from every aspect, to the polite and helpful staff everything about this lhotel was perfect. Clean, spacious and comfortable room, delicious generous breakfast spread, relaxing by the pool that looks over the sea, all those and more have me hoping to return to the Anastasia Hotel and Karystos soon. It was one of the best holidays ever.

Review 13：Πολύ καλό ξενοδοχείο! Πεντακάθαρο με μεγάλα δωμάτια πάνω στην θάλασσα. Βραβευμένο ελληνικό πρωινό που τα είχε όλα, εστιατόριο δίπλα στην πισίνα και όλοι ευγενέστατοι! Θα επιστρέψουμε σίγουρα!

Review 14：Επιστρεψαμε στο ξενοδοχειο υστερα απο ενα χρονο και βρηκαμε την ιδια φιλοξενια, την ιδια εξυπηρετηση και την ιδια ποιότητα! Εξαιρετικό το νεο εστιατοριο διπλα στην πισινα! Συγχαρητηρια!

Review 17：the fact that besides the normal hotel business also other events take place like f.e. weddings. does become rather disturbing for the hotel guests good nights rest.

Review 19：Although the following will not restrain me from staying to this hotel again, I found the bathroom dark (the light was inadequate), and the swimming pool more like a paddling pool. Also, next time, I will ask for a room on the second or third floor in order to have a better view.

Review 20：The room was spacious, clean, and soundproof. The breakfast and almost everything else we had at the restaurant was delicious (thank you Mrs Anastasia!). All the staff were very kind, helpful, and with a warm and friendly attitude. The nearby beach (3') was very nice and we could use our own umbrella or one of those the municipality has installed.

Review 22：Beautiful spacious room with balcony overlooking the ocean. Loved sitting on the balcony watching the sun go down sipping wine. Perfect! Breakfast was good, staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was a welcome relief after being out in the midday sun.

Review 32：The location of the hotel was splendid. From our big balcony we had a marvellous view on the bay of Karystos. The street along the hotel has no big traffic and we could enjoy a very quiet night’s rest even with the windows full open. The rooms are very spacious and clean and gave us the feeling, when we entered, to be at home. The breakfast area/dining room gave us the same feeling of space and there we enjoyed the marvellous breakfast of the Anastasia hotel. The personnel were very friendly and helpful to fulfil al our questions. We could have a drink around the beautiful swimming pool and for those who prefer the sea to swim, the well equipped beach was only 180m from the hotel. We had a marvellous time at the Anastasia hotel.
