Review 1:Security card in the elevator was a bit painful. We kept swiping but it wouldn't lock in our floor resulting in a couple of extra trips up and down in the elevator. This happened 9/10 trips we took up and down from our room.

Review 15:On checking out I was asked whether I had used any product from the bar fridge! I commented that I hadn't as there was nothing in the fridge. I thought that it may have been a new policy. It wasn't a problem for me but obviously a "hick-up'!

Review 16:• Not have your valets roll their eyes at us as we arrive • Not have them whisper to themselves and then look at us and laugh • Have you desk staff get some manners because having someone roll their eyes at you for the third time in less than five minutes just ruined my night • No I do not like my money being dropped into my hand you could get them to place it not that hard • May get some $1 coins. As some who works in retail I know it isn't that hard nor is it hard to say sorry for the coins • No mold in the bathroom would be excellent as well • I don't know what the stick substance on the desk was but I shouldn't have to clean it up either • As for the people smoking on our floor that is just revolting. Came out of the stay with most of my clothes smelling like smoke Because of our stay two of our friends also stayed at the hotel as well, we shared a car and had it valet parked which as you know is $40 just to have the car parked out the front where it seems every an and his dog goes to smoke there were butts littered all around the car and it was down right disgusting. $40 for it just to parked out the front, if I had know that was the service I wouldn't have stayed at your hotel. It's sad to say but the Ibis was a better hotel. You have ruined the nice and "luxurious" 21st for both my partner and myself! One of the biggest disappointments for this month!

Review 17:The staff was not very attentive. Both phones in room did not work and were not replaced when I brought it to the front desk's attention. Breakfast was very late one day when I had very early starts for the work trip. They claim 24 hour service. Mini bar was not replenished after use.

Review 21:Title of room was, Premier King Room with park view. The room was hardly a King room, hardly premier, Park view????? Wardrobe door covered in finger prints & wouldn't close properly. Shower was over bath, difficult for elderly! One armchair, one computer chair....no table otherwise we would have had room service. Notice board on wall?? Wont be back.

Review 34:From the moment I checked in there was a problem with my booking.Although the The hotel was happy to check me in early the room that Iwas allocated had two single bed and the worst water pressure in theshower that I have ever experienced anywhere in the world! The StamfordHotel Adelaide also has a signature Restaurant and it states 'Adelaide's best, most authentic Argentinean Restaurants and it wasdismal at best! More like Adelaide's worst! The food was disgustingand sent back! Overall my experience was well below par and I would notstay at this hotel again even if I was paid to do so!

Review 36:Room was not what we booked and price slightly different. Things not in room that should have been. Buffet breakfast in TGs was partly cold and ran out of food and juice and wasn't very busy. Had to wait for them to be filled again. Scrambled eggs were almost liquid.

Review 46:For a hotel of this standing I think they could have a better restaurant. The restaurant has Argentinean food. I am a vegetarian but eat a lot of fish. There was only one fish dish on the menu. Barramundi cooked in corn husks, plus mixed vegetables. Everything tasted the same - all bland. We are world travellers, love food, especially savoury. We only ate there once - the first night! - Apart from this experience, we enjoyed all the other restaurants we ate at.

Review 47:We were charged double money for two breakfasts, at arrival they told us at reception that each person would only pay $20 per breakfast, but at checkout instead of paying $80 for both of us we paid $160. That is ok though, we enjoyed it :)

I find it strange that free wireless is not included in the accommodation charge; we travel extensively overseas and a very large percentage of hotels provide free wifi.

Review 57:they said the room was newly renovated, maybe in the early 90s, the paid movie looked like a bad pirated copy and the voice didnt match up with the movie, there were pubic hair all threw the spa bath even though it had a just cleaned sticker on it, the place looked so old.

The decor & general appearance of the room was terrible! There was hidden costs on credit card use and paying an extra $100 on top of your room for any damages that may occur!! The price was far too expensive as nothing special to offer at all!! Would not recommend anyone to stay here if you are looking for a luxury night to get away.

Review 61:Sadly the Cascade Bar was not open early afternoon. We made our way instead to the Playford for celebratory drinks and nicer atmosphere. Just completed a walk from Geelong ,Victoria to Adelaide .

Review 65:I booked two rooms, ours was lovely my sisters (we paid $159 each) was not. No bath plug broken doors, no mini bar and the furniture was very dusty. We were told it wasnt used often, eell we still paid alot of money and i expected a clean room ready for our stay! (We booked weeks in advance!) Also i was told on arrival that the security deposit would be automatically put back into my account, on leaving i was shocked to find out its upto 4-5 business days! I still have no received it. Also the staff at the desk seemed quite rude askibv me what i was doing in the lobby (after dinner we wanted to head back up to our room) well i paid to stay here thats why i was in the lobby! We also had our young child with ys and i feel like we were treated differently because of this!!

Review 79:Not a bad experience, just disappointing. We ate as a group at La Boca & the meals were quite quickly served. 3 of us had the rib & red special. Was an entree of 1.5 very dried rib, not enjoyable. Others in our group enjoyed their choice.

Review 80:The bed & pillows were the best ever! Front check in staff very friendly & concierge helpful with self parking directions, making it all quite quick. Late check out is great option and was no problem for some in our group to extend this.

Review 81:The photos of the hotel are very misleading. The bath was like an extended drain and of course there was no photo listed of that bath, only a photo of the suit with spa bath. The standard room was very dusty and the bathroom is so tiny. I've stayed in about 5 adelaide CBD hotels and I wouldn't recommend it for the price for the facilities you get.

Review 111:Reception staff could have been friendlier and should have known there was a free bus to major tourist attractions. They also offered no information about hotel facilities and the fact that meals in the restaurants had discounts. The rate we paid was extortionate given the hotel is not 5 star luxury.

Review 121:Loved the view from the 19th floor. At night it was like fairyland. Great position, handy to everything. A very spacious and comfy room and bed. Friendly and helpful staff. Very good buffet breakfast, plenty of choice. Spent 3 nights here and enjoyed it. Top marks for having a removable shower head. Far better than the fixed ones that so many hotels seem to have.

Review 122:A/C caused me a bit of trouble it may appear easy to work but i had it going from cool to heat so in the middle of the night it was too hot.

Review 133:When we arrived the hotel didn't have our booking from booking.com. The receptionist was rather cold towards us also but the concierge made up that being very friendly towards our family and young children. We did not sleep very well due to there being a party going on which lasted with loud music until around 3.30am. We could not sleep through the boom boom!

Review 136:Fast check in, comfortable well appointed room with great views towards Elder Park. Comfortable bed with choice of pillows with double glazed windows that kept the room nice and quiet for sleeping. A very convenient location in the heart of the city close to many eating establishments.

Review 139:The hotel lacks any sense of happiness. The decor is tired, the foyer is really dark and looks more like a pub/nightclub than a hotel. The staff are doing their best but it just doesn't seem like a fun place. It has a depressing feel.
