Review 14：The hotel is central, and on the street next to a couple of bars. If youwant to keep the windows open for air at night, this did make it a noisy- particularly at weekends. A room at the back would have been morequiet. But with the double windows shut it was not a problem. In commonwith many Hungarian hotels there is no aircon. But there are fansprovided which are just as good and save us premium prices.
Review 15：Large airy rooms with high ceilings and classic style. Excellentbreakfasts with plenty of good wholesome choice - continental as well aseggs and sausage. Our family was staying for a sailing championshipwhich meant that we sometimes needed to turn up an hour early forbreakfast, but this was accommodated for with no drop in service. Themanagement and staff were always courteous, smiling and worked hard tomake our 10 day stay a very enjoyable experience. The hotel is veryconvenient for restaurants and the sailing clubs - less than 5 minuteswalk. Highly recommended. Other travelers have mentioned having aproblem with mosquitos, but we were not bothered by them at all, evenwith windows open in the evening.

Review 20：No air conditioning so not to be recommended in the heat of summer.No tea-bags available for breakfast - only flavoured teas. When I asked for English Breakfast or the like, I got a grumpy look and a fruit tea flung at me. Poor customer service. They have to cater for Brits and the Brits tend to drink tea!! No blinds in the bedrooms so the sun came shining through at some ungodly hour. This hotel just has to make small improvements. Otherwise it's a gem.

Review 26：Our one night stay at Hotel Astoria on 20th June 2012 was a pleasantexperience, as our room was large, airy, & beautifully decorated. Thebed was comfortable & bathroom a good size. The outdoor breakfast/diningin the restaurant adjourning the hotel had excellent choices, and in apretty setting. We appreciated the quiet location of this hotelsurrounded by leafy streets and within an easy stroll to the waterfront& shopping areas, The hotel was easy to find and the car park wasspacious. Hotel staff were very pleasant. We would fully recommend thislovely hotel to anyone.

The room was large and very light, and very well heated. Meals in the restaurant were of a good standard. We would definitely stay in this hotel again.
