Review 1：Pillows could have been more comfortable

Review 2：Central location and so close to everything. We stayed just before Christmas and were able to enjoy the markets and entertainment on the trg. Our room was comfortable, bathroom clean but could do with a Reno. Breakfast was amazing! So much variety and good coffee. Service was exceptional!

Review 3：TV channel selection: either ;paid movies or news channels. The lack of English language channels was very disappointing as it was BBC News 24 or nothing. Many travelers I have met speak English as a strong second language but don't come from countries provided for on the other non-English channels. Definitely an effort to be made regarding this aspect.

Review 4：I've stayed here twice now and it's the proximity to city center (literally yards away from the entrance) that made me come back to this hotel. This time I stayed in a room facing the main pedestrian area, and, as it was nearing Christmas, the vending stalls were right outside and nearly below my window but it was so quiet one wouldn't have known that they were there!

Review 23：The bathroom needed a good scrub! It was full of mold around the shower door, faucet and handle, and tiles were cracked full of mold........ something one shouldn't see in a 4 star hotel

Review 29：They did not give us a 26 m2 room as it is written. It eas a very small room which is very difficult to put baby crab. We wrote that we have a baby. And we said at reception again. But the baby bad was not ready. We waited nearly one hour in the room. The baby was sleeping in his stroll. But they did not bring. They said we are busy. When they bring, they put it under air condition. We called someone to help to change it. But i carried. And if you are not there for bussines, you are a second class person. I did not feel it even in any five star expensive hotels. In the reception, we ask the women to go to the airport. She said just by taxi. But we learned it is by the tram which is in front of the hotel. We used that way. The room was smelling smoke and it eas very dark. Windows were so dirty. They used the breakfast saloon as a cafe after 09:30. So they disturb you in the breakfast if you sit the window place with their threats.

Review 42：Excellent location right on the Jelacic square, right in the heart of Zagreb. Staff was friendly and courteous. They even gave us late checkout. Note that the parking for the hotel is not right at the hotel, its a 3 minute walk. Now the road to the parking lot is marked as pedestrian only, but you can drive on it to get to the parking lot. I was using GPS and it would not take me to the parking lot because of this. So I called the hotel and the staff gave me excellent directions.

The location was excellent...walking distance to many key sights and literally across the street to access the metro stop--again, quick access to outlying places. The hotel was not only convenient, but safe. It was a little more dated than other places I stayed, but it was good for the price point and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again just for the convenience.

Review 65：The negative attitude of the staff. Firstly, they gave us two rooms, which were too noisy and cold. Then we replaced them, but one of the rooms was without any windows. Finally, after a couple of hours we received better rooms. The breakfast was poor.

Instead of bringing me the key to the next room , she asked that I took all my luggage downstairs to exchange for a room which to me was unreasonably having to drag my luggage downstairs and again back up to another assigned room . The second room given , again, had a problem with air conditioning not working !!! I was very tired then n called the reception again . The repairman came up again n of course , could fix the air conditioning . However he was very nice to bring me a new key to the room next door . I wish the reception lady would be a little more sensitive to customer request n has the empathy of the customer , who , after a long trip , would be very tired and want his / her problem taken care of , satisfactorily , n on a timely basis . The bed was extremely comftorble, the room was spacious, fast wifi, amazing bathroom, beautiful view,right in the city centre, friendly staff... i couldn't possibly be more satisfied!

I picked a category which should have offered me a room on the Ban Jelačić Square, but on arrival I was told that this room type never had a view onto the square. It is wthin a transport free zone and walking soms 50 meters to get to the hotel is a must, That having been said a hotel porter found an ingeneous solution to the probleg by placing a chair inside a baggage carrier and coming for me at the edge of the walk zone where a generous taxi driver waited j til could gr transported in. So problematic for disabled customers but ingenious staff with temporary solutions.Bravo to a very helpful staff

Review 126：Air conditioning could not cool down the room less than 24 Celsius. Maintenance staff stop by but could not help. It's was hot in the room during my stay. I did write a note to the supervisor on day one out of 4 day stay, however nobody got back to me. Very disappointing about 5 star hotel not to follow up with the guest staying at the Executive suite. Toilet bowl was not clean either for the entire stay, although it was reported in writing on hotel stationary and handed to guest services staff.

The hotel entrance can not be reached by car since its located in the pedestrian zone. The hotel's private parking is approximately 350 feet away. Guests are required to carry their luggage from the parking.The parking lot is accessed through the pedestrian zone, so please disregard the prohibiting turn sign as the hotel’s guests freely enter this zone with vehicles. The parking entrance has a ramp and speakerphone on it that will open upon identification.
