Reviews for Silver Rocks Hotel
Review 1:Overall, the hotel needed a little TLC in places and it's a shame there wasn't more of an atmosphere in the evenings/around the pool.
Review 2:Owners/staff were friendly and very helpful. Location was convenient for beach an lots of restaurants
Review 3:Had to leave the hotel to have lunchtime and evening meals and the wifi coverage was intermittent and only in reception really. The electricity went off when you left the room too which wasn't that convenient.
Review 4:Very peaceful spot with amazing views and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The pool was great too and the children loved the slide and the diving board.
Review 5:Old small rooms, breakfast poor, reception is a living room for the owner, the lady owner was sweet at check in and suggested me to switch the big room witch I bokedfor small cheaper room as she told it is the same quality.. but it wasnt so.. it was terrible room, and the irony was that she charged me the same amount for it... the excuse was that the booking.com didnt exept the change. And the hotel is a dump.
Review 6:staff is amazing and makes you feel like you are home. Me and my fiancee had a late evening ferry departure and they just allowed us to stay and use the shower and room for the whole day. Amazing, very friendly and nice staff. Breakfast is nice and you can enjoy an amazing view. Location is only a 2 minute walk from the beach.
Review 7:Dispite having a restaurant, ( where you have breakfast) the hotel doesn't do evening meals or have a bar anymore. Which is such a shame as it's a fabulous setting. It obviously used to as it has the space / furniture etc. but it all feels a little forgotten as if it's best days are gone which is sad as With a little investment this could be a great hotel but maybe the need just isn't there anymore.
Review 8:The hotel is a little hard to find at first as some of the signage is missing. The staff are really helpful and friendly and the views from the the balcony where you have breakfast is amazing! There is a decent amount of choice for breakfast. The pool is a godsend again with amazing views over the bay, they are a bit short on sunbeds though. There is a little beach which is good for snorkelling a 2min walk (down hill) away. The windsurfing hire etc ( at new golden beach ) about 5min walk. However if you are a beginner the ( old) golden beach is better and this is a 10min drive. The quality of the hire equipment is fantastic at both though. The room was a little on the small size ( for 4 of us) but it was clean and made up each day. The A/C worked well too.
Review 9:We went to Paros in order to do some windsurfing. The windsurfing stations are quite near to the hotel, but some people won't like the fact, that it takes about 10-12 minutes to get to them.
Review 10:"Two stars", - you say? No! It's 3++ stars or even more, actually! Let's have a look: each room has it's own entrance, bathroom, WC, TV, air-conditioner and a balcony. Every day the room is cleaned. Every day you get a pair of fresh towels and even fresh bedclothes. Most of the rooms have beautiful view on the sea. Breakfasts are not that diverse, actually, but you'll find all, you need. The food is simple, but fresh and tasty. Moreover, the hotel has it's own swimming pool - also clean. Besides all that stuff, I mostly liked the people, who work in this hotel. Friendly, kind, hospitable and always ready to help - many thanks for great holidays!
Review 11:One of the days they forgot to clean the room / change our towels. They said it was because we didnt leave the keys, although they mentioned to us they had a spare key (with which they cleaned away the insects while we were out the first day). Make sure you leave your keys before you leave so they clean your room!
Review 12:the views from our room were very nice and the staff was very helpful
