Review 1：Junk food. Spider web everywhere. Decoration reminded me of the 80's (hotel could use a bit of renovation)

Review 2：A private beach, 30 m from room. Beach facilities were very good.

Review 3：Do not book it for 1 night, you cannot really benefit from the all inclusive offer. The room looks really old, no air conditioner, 37 degree (Celsius)! We wanted to leave our car in the hotel parking area because of a swim event until 16:00, but we had to pay 6000 Ft extra! The entire hotel needs a renovation, especially the rooms! We have spent beuatiful time here about 10 years ago, very sad really.

Review 4：Staff was nice and polite, but this could not compensate the rest.

Review 5：although they are kind and available, there is few personnel who speaks english, especially at reception where i would expect to have it. the personnel should be more informative, for instance the food that you have at the beach is different than the one you have at restaurant. the beds should be more comfortable and the carpet better cleaned (i found some spots). i had a suite room, and in the bathroom there was not shower hose which was made as derivation from the basin tap.

Review 6：the personnel is available and kind, the location is fine just in front of the lake and close to the promenade, the food is ok. the all-inclusive solution fit our needs.

Review 7：Room & bathroom were very tired & in need of modernisation. Guests were extremely noisy in bar area & outside terrace until about 2am. As we were on floor 1 it was impossible to sleep. However, I don't think it would have made a lot of difference if we were on floor 11.

Review 9：The personel does not speak English and is rood and arogant. The room is to small and all the facilities are old. The quality of everything (food, drinks, furnituture services is very low). Very expensive for what they offer.

Review 36：Staff couldnt do enough for you, they made you feel as if you were special. I had read some mixed reviews, but everything was very good. The hotel is not bang upto date modern style. But is in immaculate condition. I would recomend the superior room ,it has air con and a nicer layout also tiled flooring. The standard rooms are mainly carpeted which i dont like. Balatonfured is an upmarket immaculate resort, with low prices. Try it out.

Review 37：Not a lot, I got exactly that which I was promised, maybe a little bit, ( only slightly ) expensive. That may be unfair as I recognise the limited season in a place like this and I did really enjoy myself there.

Review 39：As just mentioned in many comments the hotel is not renovated at all, itactually remained in the 1980's socialist style, it refers not only thewhole structure of the hotel and rooms but also the stuff. Maybe it wascategorized a 3 star 30 years ago but today it surely isn'T. Rooms areawfully raunchy, all the refurbishment is to change because even itseemed clean at the first sight you simply cannot remove the dirt of 30years. I said, it seemed clean, actually looking at it a bit better wediscovered holes in the curtain and throwing it some spiders jumped outof it. The bathroom is like the whole room: too small and uncomfortable.There is no hair dryer in a 3 star hotel, hello!!! When I asked it atthe reception, the lady said the hotel can borrow it to you for 2.000huf/10 eur. Whaaaaat??! I have to pay a caution for a hair dryer??!! Noteven in a hostel.. Then obviously she discovered the there are no hairdryers available (in a hotel of 11 floors!). In addition, if your roomis not located in an upper floor there is only chance to have a "view"to a mass of stones on the roof. As for the all inclusive offer:breakfast is nice but the other meals are mediocre, it varies of goodand very badly prepared plates, like soups without any ingredients in it(about this I heard complaining also other hotel guests) and oily/grassymeats. Not to mention the poor quality of wines they offer. Just alittle complaint about the animation: use less commercial music tolisten and during aerobic, it's not for little children..

Review 40：We liked very much the children-friendly beach and the animation. Theanimator guys did their best to entertain our little daughter. Excellentbreakfast and the Palma snack house which offers you tasty refreshmentsbetween two meals. Many fresh fruits.

Review 43：The standard hotel rooms: small, furnished 20-30 years ago, the "easternblock" style. Fairly clean, complete cleanliness of the 20 year oldcarpets would be impossible. Rooms without air conditioning (ask ahead)on hot nights! At best 2 star category. Bathrooms: even smaller, 1980'sstyle, the white tiles, fairly clean. You will pay a lot for extras.

Review 44：You will like the hotel's own:- beach- excellent, private, no crowd, big trees with shadows if you want, clean, nice cut grass. - playground- all kind of toys, next to beach, small lagoon for children 20 cm deep water. - parking- in front of hotel, guarded. - indoor swimming pool. - hotel personal- nice people. Hotel is short walk distance from the center. The food they serve is good, mass feeding style. Think of it like You are paying for these (and might worth it), because the rest is not good. Restaurant is not bad, spacious, the food: nothing special.
