Reviews for Iria Beach Art Hotel

Review 1:Awesome staff, always ready to help. Breakfasts were excellent, with a freshly baked little extra to take to the room with us every day. The rooms are fantastic - huge, spotless and with every conceivable facility - including a jacuzzi bath. The location is unbelievable - ten steps to Agia Anna beach (with free loungers on a sandy beach - who knew that was possible in Europe!). The Palatia restaurant (next to the hotel) food was delicious - we went to another restaurant one evening and regretted it!

Review 2:Maria,Poppi and Anna were very kind and made us feel very welcome. The location is amazing. A few steps abd you are swimming in clear greek waters. We couldn't ask for a better place to stay.

Review 3:I noticed that the beds were hard and linens were a little harsh on the skin perhaps due to excessive washing ..this is not just with this particular hotel but across all 3 islands that we visited this summer ! Perhaps it is just us North American ....

Review 4:Lovely lovely hotel ! Beach proximity , the town and more importantly the people ! Awesome breakfasts

Review 5:The only thing I didn't care for was that the lighting in the rooms was not great... especially the bathroom.

Review 6:While we didn't have a view, our room was steps away from the beach and the taverna. Our adult children had a room with a view and I think I preferred being in the hub of things rather than their room. Great thing is once the doors and windows were closed it was sound-proof. Spacious bathroom with wonderful shower. Staff were very warm, especially Anna who is in charge of breakfast. :)

Review 7:Nothing

Review 8:The location is fantastic.....just a few steps from the beach with all nice restaurants and cafés right there. Breakfast excellent with all homemade products. Anna makes sure everybody feels welcome and she takes care of everything. We had the room for disabled. It was a very spacious, clean and nicely decorated room! We would recommend this hotel!

Review 9:Be careful with this hôtel !! (Especially with the room 67 : a terrasse with a view on a wall !!) this hôtel is in fact not a 4 stars but only 2 or 3. If you have the possibility, choose an other one.

Review 10:Location to a full-service beach. Nestled in a small seaside town. Close to a small supermarket. Everything at the hotel was as described in the listing. We had a evening flight for our departure and the hotel stored our luggage for the day and after the beach allowed us to clean up in the Spa facility. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful and relaxing time while in Naxos.

Review 11:Our room had a less beautifull terrace ( street side, downstairs, so not a Nice view and no sun). But all the other positive things made up for it.

Review 12:Everyting was great! Really warm welcome by Maria and her staff. Caring for my gluten allergy ( they provided me with gluten Fred Bread). Perfect location: really at the beach, restaurants, bars, but stil very quiet at night. Comfortable room, including nespresso coffee machine. Very complete breakfast with home made marmelade, cakes, fresh oranje juich,... Really delightfull to stay there,

Review 13:Loved lady who organised breakfast and breakfast was very nice but breakfast area is too small and she needs more help from other staff

Review 14:Great spot near the beach, very easy to relax straight away

Review 15:The beds could have been a little more comfortable. One of the pillows was hard and the sheets were hard and uncomfortable.

Review 16:The staff was excellent. They arranged the taxi transportation to and from the port and really made us welcome when we arrived. The room was modern and clean and just seconds from the beach. We wish the beds were a little more comfortable but we managed. Overall, an excellent stay for our first trip to Naxos.

Review 17:The staff was incredibly welcoming; we felt so cared for. They were also very accommodating, eagerly helping us with any arrangements that we desired.

Review 18:we had an absolutely fantastic stay here. Maria and her team go to every effort make sure your stay is as memorable and comfortable as possible. The location, comfort and the breakfast were all perfect. Will definitely return.

Review 19:Nothing. Enjoyed everything.

Review 20:The Iria Beach Art Hotel is 20m from Agia Anna beach and restaurants. The hotel is modern and the staff are all very accommodating.

Review 21:Friendly family hotel with new modern decor and great loction on thebeach. Anna in the dining room made fresh cakes every day and made great breakfast with good service. Good family restaurant with great food connected to the hotel.

Review 22:Departure

Review 23:High quality across the board: staff, service, building and decor, food and all in a great location away from the hustle bustle but in a lively little neighborhood.

Review 24:Nothing!

Review 25:The location was very close to the beach and nice restaurants. We immediately felt welcomed and were looked after really well. The main restaurant/food services lady was so sweet and attentive, as was the receptionist/admin. Met the owner and he was also lovely. Would definetly return!

Review 26:Can't think of anything to not like.

Review 27:They put a lot of care into details that make you feel at home. Friendly, helpful staff Best breakfast in Greece Close to beach Simple, elegant, thoughtful interiors to rooms

Review 28:Absolutely nothing to complain about. Sorry I can't write any more.

Review 29:Hotel staff extremely pleasant and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel has a perfect position on a beautiful beach and everything couldn't have been more perfect.

Review 30:Hotel is on the Beach! The beach has crystal clear water, not crowded, restaurants nearby have great location, great see food for 8 to 10 euros a platter, hotel staff are very friendly! 10/10 for a relaxing vacation.

Review 31:The accessible room is awful, in the basement with a dark corridor to reach it, set apart from all the other rooms. The patio area is level with the road and there were lots of mosquitoes from the foliage there getting into the room. Mostly, this is NOT a hotel, you will be disappointed if you expect one.

Review 32:The staff were very friendly and the location is steps from the beach/shop/restaurants.

Review 33:Bathroom wasn't great. It was clean but the shower was in the middle of the bathroom, no curtain, door, etc.

Review 34:The rates were very fair for what you get. Right next to the (public) beach.

Review 35:Staff is absolutely tops and cannot do enough for you

Review 36:...no pool...except this huge seawater pool just in front of the hotel...

Review 37:Very nice and helpful staff. Modern rooms and hotel right at the beach.

Review 38:A step up to out bedroom we both tripped over.. Room on the small side.

Review 39:A good central place with lovely staff

Review 40:The location, the staff!!! Great breakfast!

Review 41:Price was too high for the room.

Review 42:Very close to the beach. Very good place to stay with a family. Personal were very supportive and friendly.

Review 43:Pillows

Review 44:Location.attitude of staff- great service

Review 45:Maria was the best, extremely helpful. Great location.

Review 46:The friendly and very helpful staff. Angela the lady that served us breakfast each morning with a different recipe each time should be commended.

Review 47:Had an excellent stay. Would definitely come back to Naxos and Iria Beach Art Hotel.

Review 48:Absolutely nothing to complain.

Review 49:Excellent Hotel! The staff was like a family member.

Review 50:We found it totally relaxing

Review 51:Staff was the best!

Review 52:No bar, but there are plenty close by.

Review 53:The personal attention and greeting from the staff. Maria, Poppy and Anna are so friendly.

Review 54:everything was perfect

Review 55:Great location by the beach, although it may be a little crowded in high season. The best beaches are about a 5-minute walk away.

Review 56:Friendly staff. At the beach.

Review 57:Hotel is is in a lovely position just a moment from Agia Anna beach and close to good restaurants and bars. Good cocktails at the Banana Bar. Great views of the sunsetting over Paros. Breakfast was very good with home made cakes and plenty of fruit. Comfortable room and very well equipped spacious bathroom. Staff were very helpful.

Review 58:coffee wasn't the best

Review 59:Everything was incredible! The staff couldn't be more personal, accommodating and helpful. Our room was very spacious and very romantic!

Review 60:The staff are wonderful and the breakfast is especially great with homemade treats and freshly squeezed orange juice from Anna. A lovely personal touch. The hotel is perfectly located on the beach. Here's a tip if it's windy: take a left on the beach from the hotel and walk towards Plaka beach - within a few hundred yards you will come to a little sheltered cove (you can see it from the hotel beach area), it is not windy at all here and the water is gorgeous. Loved the island. Less touristy than some of the more famous ones and more traditional and genuine as a result. Great food downtown at reasonable prices.

Review 61:Large, modern, tastefully decorated rooms in a "beach boutique" style. Nicely tiled bathrooms. Excellent range of breakfast items (especially the home made jam & cakes). Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean. About 10m away from the Agia Anna beach.

Review 62:The staff were really helpful, and right from the moment we booked the hotel they got in touch by email to find out when we were arriving, send pictures, and offer suggestions on how to get to the hotel. The hotel was located right by the beach (you couldn't really get much closer!). The hotel provided breakfast, and had a restaurant for dinners. The cleaning staff did a great job.

Review 63:Wifi was terrible and practically non-functional. View from sublime room not as good as promo photos - images on Internet are clever/photoshopped.

Review 64:Freshly baked bread and cakes each morning! Delicious and always a heavenly smell to return to!

Review 65:Great staff, very friendly and always happy to help. Location - couldn't ask for a better spot! Right on the beach. The rooms are generous size and our room had 2 balconies.

Review 66:There really wasn't much to nitpick on. Except that there was a short period of time when there was no hot water. The pressure of shower was not the best as well, but when raised to the staff at the reception, she was fast to help rectify the issue.

Review 67:One of the best decisions I made about accommodation. It is situated right on Agia Anna beach, and a short walk along the beach to reach beautiful Plaka beach. We stayed in the Suite and it was perfect. Big and spacious with private patio facing the sea. It is well kept and very clean. Staff were friendly and very helpful. They were part of the reasons for such a pleasant stay. Breakfast buffet was a good spread, worth waking up for!

Review 68:Hotel is next to the beach in the lovely Agia Anna fishing village on the less touristy Island of Naxos. It is a boutique hotel so service is personalized. The staff are all attentive and very friendly. The rooms are spotless and modern, the bed and pillows very comfortable, the bathroom well designed and ultra modern. Breakfast included in fee is great. Excellent value and lovely accommodations.

Review 69:A 4* should have a pool, the water pressure was poor & we had no water on the last day at all. Room cleaning could be improved. Surrounding area is a bit scruffy. Generally felt it was about 20% overpriced for the standard & the time of year (end of May)

Review 70:The staff were absolutely wonderful - Poppy & Maria deserve a mention - both so helpful! Anna and her breakfast with homemade cakes were great. Comfortable rooms & beds, excellent terrace & good position on beach

Review 71:No WiFi in rooms. Only net curtains, meaning I woke early!

Review 72:Perfect location on the beach, plenty of good bars and restaurants nearby. Beautifully designed, modern interiors. Helpful, knowledgeable staff and good value for money (I stayed in low season). Spotlessly clean.

Review 73:This hotel was excellent. I would recommend an alternative to Blue Star ferries such as SuperJet.

Review 74:The staff are lovely and helpful. As an example; my arrival was delayed due to an Athens international flight controllers strike, so I could arrive until the next day. However the staff changed my reservation without charge. Unfortunately Blue Star Ferries took my money and were not understanding at all.

Review 75:Everything! Cleanliness, comfort, location! Excellent staff.

Review 76:Great staff, great location, beautiful island. Walking distances to amazing beaches and some really good restaurants.

Review 77:Breakfast average and expensive

Review 78:location and comfort

Review 79:Pleasant atmosphere and beautiful beach right next to the hotel. Very nice staff. Super clean rooms.

Review 80:Locking hotel doors at night ! Wifi problems... Cleaners walking into room without knocking

Review 81:Rooms over rated for price
