Review 1：I only stayed one night. Great location if you are staying for one or two nights close to Gatwick airport. Free shuttle service really helped and was greatly appreciated. Great service, felt like I was in a 5 star hotel and felt like I was well taken care of. Three minute walk to a very old restaurant (ye olde six bells) with amazing food/beer. Recommended 10/10
Review 2：The road next to the B&B has been a bit noisy, but I still have been able to get enough sleep. I've missed to ask Carmel in the evening, but a bottle of water would have been great.
Review 3：Carmel is very friendly and supportive, I felt very welcome and enjoyed the stay, especially the breakfast. It's close to the airport, my room was very clean and comfortable.

Review 11：Waking up in the middle of the night to see a bedbug crawling around the bed. We didn't get much sleep after this incident. Then spent the holiday we where going on waiting for the bites marks to appear, they sure did! Owners were so nice we couldn't tell them on the early morning ride to the airport.

Review 20：It was very homely and comfortable, we love staying here, although we only stay on route overnight. Nothing is too much trouble, and Carmel and Clive will also pick you up from the airport and take you back to the airport in time for your flight the next day.

Breakfast was excellent no wonder they have won an award.We booked on location to Gatwick,parking and airport transfer,so pleased we chose Cumberland a great start and end to holiday. Great pub for food 2 minutes walk away.Have to add there is a very prominent sign outside House so very easy to find no driving up and down road this time. Review 24：We were left stranded at Gatwick Airport at night because their phone wasnt working, having walked half a mile to the pick up point we had to walk all the way back with our luggage to find a taxi to get back to their house to retrieve our car - not a nice end to what was a lovely holiday!!

Review 28：The ´delicious English breakfast' Included scrambled egg which tasted microwaved and was proudly presented pressed into a mould. The 'homemade marmalade' tasted like Golden Shred. No place to put things in bedroom and the tiniest handbasin I have ever seen. The 'complimentary toiletries' consisted of 2 cotton pads and one cotton bud. The 'designated smoking area' was the car park.

Staying there very recently, we enjoyed a lovely warm welcome, refreshments and home made cake, a wonderful early bird breakfast, our airport transfer which we needed 4 times over our stay was outstanding, every thing was so well organised and nothing, absolutely nothing was to much trouble. You do Arrive as Guests and leave as friends which certainly forfills their absolute aim.

Friendly, comfortable, convenient (the owners drive you to the airport and pick you up on your return), great breakfast, near to Horley's pubs/restaurants/shops. We will certainly stay here next time we fly from Gatwick and would recommend without reservation.
Review 41：The hosts were very obliging and rang the local pub to book the restaurant for me without me suggesting it. I had an early flight but it was no trouble for them to drop me at the terminal and the pickup was very quick.

Review 47：Hostess was grumpy.Seemed tired.When I told her if she can arrange by phone a 2 person table for dinner at six bells tavern, she told that the place was full and would not find a table.Went by the tavern myself...The place was not full for dinner...50 people could had dinner, that's how many empty tables I found...not a good way to please your guests.
