Reviews for Il Paradiso Di Hyele
Review 1:The room we were given was the nearest to the hall (and the hall is also a reception and breakfast place) The acoustic is too strong which is awful as you simply hear all the noise around and crying children - this was really uncomfortable - and people gathering in the morning for breakfast - you can't sleep well and earplugs here didn't help. And the door itself is thin. During the day luckily we were out Somewhere there was no door handles or other necessary staff fixed and the bathroom was also uncomfortable: not wide and spacious (but this is ok if not the pecularity) no hooks to hang your clothes and wet towels (one small towel floor-stand which wasn't stable), no shower cabin - you just try to take shower and not to make all around wet. No hanger for toylet-paper and so on. Creaky bed and hard-hard pillows. Conditioner is set on the same level to the bed and one person who sleeps on this side can be also uncomfotable about it Wi-fi didn't work when we arrived and we were told it's gonna be repaired but nothing happened during the whole week. Summing it all up can't say it was a good value for money in our case
Review 2:About the guest-house: Welcoming and hospitable owners The house is still under repairment which causes some discomfort. Free parking, but surroundings aren't quite clean (bags with rubbish) Actually the family, I suppose, has recently started this business so don't expect high standards About the sea: To the beach it takes about 10-15 min walk or you can drive by car - there's a free parking in the center near the seaside. Some beaches are private and you can rent it for 15 euro for the pair, other parts are free. 5 km beach with clean and transparent water, nice sand with a hint of grey vulcanic color Few water attractions About the town itself: is suitable for families with children, for those who like running is also nice. there's 1 main pedestrian street which in the evening turns into the center of local attractions (souvenir shops, cafes, restaurants, fruit shops). Very tasty pizza is at Queen and Rose (or smth like this) cafe in the middle of this street During weekends one can take children to merry-go-round. A national park is quite close so you can do some sightseeing. Generally nooone speaks English (if does just few words), but for this place it's ok and you just need to be prepared for this)
Review 3:we started with a room downstairs which was very noisy and dark. it didn't have a proper shower cabin and had extra furniture left in there (extra bed for other rooms). We asked for another room upstairs and were given one the next day. they are cats in the garden but are kept locked in a very small cabin part of the day. Although we understand it might be for the comfort of some guest who might not like cats we thought it was a bit strange and not nice to cramp the cats (and kitten) in there...
Review 4:The rooms upstairs have a great view and are nicely arranged. Home made cakes for breakfast.
