Reviews for Annita's Village Hotel

Review 1:The hotel is a few hundred yards from the beach up a fairly busy road.

Review 2:The room was spacious and comfortable with good facilities well thought out and designed. The balcony was quite large and had a sea view. The air conditioning was efficient and above all was silent. The pool was lovely and well maintained and the pool side furniture was of good quality. The area is very quiet and sleep quality was good. The staff were very friendly, the breakfasts were varied and informal mostly eaten by the pool. All in all it is a good value hotel, particularly in September when the rates are reduced and we would certainly return.

Review 3:Because it was well organised very clean with friendly staff and in the best location with best views from our balconies to the pool and tother nearest beach of St, Anna!!!!

Review 4:A very nice family run complex with all the facilities pool, relaxers, self catering facilities, WiFi very clean and in the best location for easy walking to the beach and transport links to Hora of Naxos.!!!

Review 5:The service is limited and the owner is not very friendly. The pool is nice (not very big). There are a limited number of beds but most people go to the beach during daytime. Breakfast is okay but not special.

Review 6:The rooms are big and comfortable. It's around a five minutes walk to the beach of Aglia Anna. The beaches of Aglia Anna and Agios Propopios are very busy and rather small. Try from Aglia Anna to the left direction Plaka. It's much nicer and more quite / unique. We rented a car and went to the East Coast. There is really nothing to do. Hardly any beaches and very small not interesting villages. We came from Paros which was nicer compared to Naxos.

Review 7:We booked a double room and got a twin. On arrival in Agia Anna we had a very difficult time locating the property as there were no signs and the locals didn't know where it was located either. Wifi did not work almost at all in the room. We found it difficult to communicate with the staff as most of them have very poor English.

Review 8:Pool area was nice and breakfast was good too. Despite not speaking English well, the staff were friendly.

Review 9:The hotel is worth 5 stars. The food was excellent, the homemade apple jam was just perfect. The staff is very friendly (even offered to transfer from and to the port although is not a standard service). The hotel has a crystal clear swimming pool, is close to the beach, it has nice view in the surroundings from the room/balcony and is quiet (i suppose all the rooms). Close to the hotel are some farms (animals around - feel like in a rural area) but also a gas station and a supermarket and few minutes of walking or driving gets you at the nice beach, Agia Anna, where you find a lot of restaurants, rent a car/scooter and other shops.

Review 10:Annita's was located in a great part of Naxos. It was close enough to walk to the beach and the local shops and cafes and also a short bus ride into the central town. The room was clean and well appointed and had a great view of the pool. We would highly recommend Annita's for anyone looking for value for money accommodation in a lovely setting.

Review 11:The hotel is very nice and well mantained, large and good breakfast, wide room, very nice swimming pool. Warm and helpful staff. Convenient and large car park in the hotel

Review 12:Really poor WiFi (they stated that they had an issue that was not fixed in the 7 days that we were there). It could have been a bit cheaper.

Review 13:Very friendly staff, clean, cosy and well organized room. Satisfying breakfast and good location (5 mins walk from the beach).

Review 14:nothing

Review 15:clean and good room in front of the swimmingpool, good staff, good position at 300m from the beach, 30m from a mini-market, 300m from the bus stop

Review 16:no complaints

Review 17:very good location only a few minutes from agia anna's beach and within 20m walk from plaka beach. very well kept spacious rooms, clean and stylishly decorated. very good breakfast with local and fresh products and enough to keep you for a long day on the beach, though some may want more variety it was more than sufficient for us.

Review 18:We really enjoyed our stay at Annita's village and loved being near the beach. Annita offered to pick us up from the port when we arrived which was so kind and helpful. We had everything we needed in the room and enjoyed sitting by the pool in the afternoons. The breakfast each day was very nice and filling and the supermarket next door was very handy! We would definitely stay again!

Review 19:It was about a twenty minute walk to oia and it was a bit dark on the road, definately need a torch. I think a bit overpriced for the position

Review 20:Enjoyed the peace and quiet

Review 21:Slightly too far from the beach and the road was very busy with traffic

Review 22:We were impressed, the room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Nice pool and the breakfast was very varied

Review 23:WiFi coverage was bad. From our room most of the times we couldn't connect.

Review 24:The rooms were cleaned every day. Very friendly staff. Close to the beach and to the main town.

Review 25:A bit of a walk to the beaches, but it's good to have the extra exercise considering the amazing breakfast with homemade Greek treats, etc. worth it also to get the more expensive newer rooms for 70 euro, versus older ones for 60

Review 26:It was a bit up the road from the beach, but we had a car.

Review 27:Amenable staff / owner. View from our two room apartment. The breakfast buffet. Top class for Greece. Spotless pool.

Review 28:The sandy beaches ,Annita.s village hotel,

Review 29:bed comfort

Review 30:Comfortable and clean studio with a fully equiped kitchen

Review 31:The longest 300 metres (from the beach) so far

Review 32:The shower was a little questionable

Review 33:Location. Cleanliness. Friendliness

Review 34:The staff were excellent ,Annita herself was so kind and helpful, the breakfasts just the best .

Review 35:The pillows were uncomfortable. Parking was open with no shade.

Review 36:We stayed in a studio room, which was cleaned daily and provided with new towels. The staff was friendly and helpful. Good breakfast with homemade marmelades and rice pudding. Close to the beach.

Review 37:Great breakfast buffet at the pool area, with quality and quantity. Huge room, nicelly decorated, new furniture and full equipped. Staff was friendly. 5 minutes walk to the beach and to the main restaurants.

Review 38:resort a bit much for our taste... to many sun beds on beach, although there was a quieter side

Review 39:great breakfast selection very nice pool good facilities

Review 40:We had a great time in Naxos and Annita's Hotel was comfortable and in a good location within about 5 minutes walk to a gorgeous beach called Agia Anna. Breakfasts were included in cost. Gorgeous swimming pool.

Review 41:The location in terms of how near it was to the beaches surrounding the area. I loved the apartments - their size, cleanliness each day and the large balcony. The hotel hostess was very friendly, kind and helpful and made our stay very comfortable and relaxing. She even waited up for us when our ferry came after 1am - and let us have a whiskey at the bar! :)

Review 42:We had a lovely large, airy and very clean room with an excellent view. The pool was great, the gardens pretty and the breakfast included was very welcome. The art throughout is all the work of Annita herself and the staff are very friendly.

Review 43:it was great! good service, they clean the room every day, nice breakfast annita and her family are very nice and hospitalizing. great place to relax!

Review 44:Agio Anna is a short, roadside beach full of beach rentals (umbrellas, beds but no chairs) both ways. The far more attractive Plaka Beach is a fair walk from Agia Anna and even further from the hotel, which is more like a motel -- best with a car, not ideal for walkers. It cost 15 Euros to take a taxi from port, which is only about ten dollars cheaper than renting a car for a day, so transportation is somewhat expensive.

Review 45:There was a good breakfast and a mini-mart next door. The bus is about a ten minute walk downhill and a corresponding 15-20 minute walk from the bus stop back up the hill. Cost per trip (one way) only is 1.8 Euros, maybe 20 minutes to town (Naxos Chora) or about ten minutes the other way to the good beach and tavernas off Plaka. I rented a car in Chora so hotel was ideally placed with plenty of parking.

Review 46:We liked our studio very much. A spacious and quite place to stay. Bedswere comfortable and the kitchenette fully equipped for quick cooking. We could take our breakfast by the swimming pool or to our room: cakes, bread, greek yoghurt, fresh fruit and eggs, cooked food, coffee, tea andall you need for a rich breakfast. Delicious! The staff was alwayspresent, friendly and reserved. We had a good time at Annita's villageand we highly recommend it for your holidays.

Review 47:Everything has been very good and nice. The staff is friendly and very kind. Wonderful breakfast in the morning near the pool with lots of good food (fruits, different bread, cakes, eggs, cheese and many others things). The room is wide, very clean with a wide bathroom. We have been there 6 nights and really enjoyed the staying!

Review 48:It''s location is not perfect but would be prepared to stay again to sample the hospitality again

Review 49:Fantastic value for money. Good clean accommodation. excellent Buffet breakfast. Conscientious and caring staff. Excellent views

Review 50:Nothing negative with this place.

Review 51:There was inkredibly nice staff who had a varmhearted service. They cared and was very interessted in our stay in Aiga Anna. The rooms were incredibly fresh without losing the Greek feeling. Great breakfast and the lockton was super, not to close to the sounds from the beaches but an easy walk to them. We would recommend this to a friend. Thanks for our stay!

Review 52:Bleak surroundings.

Review 53:Friendly owner-manager. Quiet apartamnet village in new condition.

Review 55:Very nice hotel, good location, very nice people.

Review 56:Friendly staff, very comfortable room with a large balcony and great views of the sea. Good location.
