Reviews for Airlink Hotel
Review 1:For the money it was good.
Review 2:Staff was very friendly. Facility was clean and a bright spot in the section of town. Mattress and pillows were VERY VERY FIRM. like rocks.
Review 3:The member of staff at the desk was on a personal call and he seemed preoccupied when checking us in. I found this very rude. As soon as we gathered our stuff to get to our room he went straight back to his call. This was on New Year's Eve and we just wanted to check in and get to our room. When we asked him questions he replied in a hurry which really annoyed me. Other than this the hotel is lovely and clean and met our standards.
Review 4:Very comfortable and spacious room unfortunately the to remote was missing so staff bought us up another remote.
Review 5:The company comes across as money hungry. My card was charged before we even arrived, we arrived at 6am and were told to pay an extra £10 if we want to check out later, I'd understand this if the hotel seemed busy in the morning... it wasn't! There was food left in the sink so when I turned the water on someone's food decided to bubble up and make an appearance, disgusting! I stay at hotels regularly and don't usually leave reviews but this was a shambles and I wasn't impressed with this so id like to warn others in advance. Spend an extra 10 or 20 pounds and stay somewhere else, example the thistle hotel at Heathrow won't charge you to check out a bit late if they're not busy..... Id rather go there next time at least they understand customer service!
Review 6:The bed was ok, however we booked a double and received a twin room.
Review 7:£10 to park when the pay & display is £2. Pillows too hard.. Shower/grout needed a scrub
Review 8:Cheaper booking on line, cheap pay & display next door
Review 9:This visit I disliked the room location and heating. The room was located right at the front so if we opened the window all we could hear was traffic. Also the heating should of been on before we entered the room because it was absolutely freezing to walk into.
Review 10:We always come to this hotel as it's very homely and cosy. We end up staying more than a night when unplanned because it's so cosy. I will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone
Review 11:Unable to park in car park due to work being carried out and vans materials ect causing blockages. Check in from 2pm but at 4pm and 6pm myself and other family where unable to get in . manager unhelpful at first . told me car park was full then checked computer to check I had booked 2 spaces at ,£10 each , lots of hassle to get in !! Then we found our toilet seat broken , unable to control heating, and no iron in room !
Review 12:Location to venue for family party
Review 13:The car park was a building site and I couldn't park despite booking this before staying and they hadn't informed me this was the case. Breakfast was not available until 7.30am which is not good enough for business users.
Review 14:Very helpful staff and comfortable room
Review 15:Located in the somewhat dubious town centre where petty criminals lurk. Safe in the day, be careful at night.
Review 16:Surprisingly nice hotel a taxi ride away from Heathrow. Very modern, and better than I expected.
Review 17:The hinge to the toilet seat was broken. The hotel smelt of indian food, which is not good if you love indian food but don't have time for a meal.
Review 18:The room was clean and recently built/renovated.
Review 19:Double bed was made up of two single beds pushed together so the gap down the middle was unavoidable and extremely uncomfortable, not a very good nights sleep, also the curtains don't cover the entire window so the street light streams in and unfortunetly for us with our room the light happened to hit the pillow.
Review 20:Very clean
Review 21:The wifi we expected to have did not work, which was very frustrating. The hotel is small and a little crammed, and expensive for what it was/where it was located. When they made up the room, they didn't bring any new towels or soaps, and we didn't get fresh glasses after using ours.
Review 22:The hotel was cleaner than I expected. I would say 4/5 on cleanliness. The staff was nice and the location was decently close (roughly 10 min walk) to the train station.
Review 23:They charge £10.00/per hour for early check in. They charge £10 per night to park your car. Internet is slow. Location is the worst I can ever think of (between a small town centre and an industrial estate).
Review 24:The interior of the hotel is clean.
Review 25:Not really a bad experience but the only downside was the 11am checkout!!! Too early. We thought it was 12pm!
Review 26:The bedroom was clean and cosy. Comfortable bed, and stylish bathroom. Also it was very quiet.
Review 27:There is not much outside the hotel in the way of restaurants, but you can get fast food everywhere. Food in hotel is best so stay on site.
Review 28:A good place to stay in this location, clean, quite good rooms. Staff friendly and accommodating. Parking at side. All facilities you need.
Review 29:Very little car parking had to park in paid car park next door, renovations and extensions going on at one end with scaffolding , water noises all night in the bathroom , which was still noisy even with the door shut which I think was when the toilet was flushed
Review 30:Nice modern room and bathroom, close to Heathrow to take my hire car back nice big led TV
Review 31:the hotel is under major refurbishment and cannot be marketed as a 4 star in this situation. jackhammering starts 08.00hrs! £10 pounds for parking and you have to move your car by 08.30 or the alternative is to park in the nearby public pay and display. The idea of paying for hotel parking is added security.
Review 32:the breakfast.
Review 33:The elevator need to be fixed , they need to have more staff
Review 34:The room was pretty huge which is enough for two ppl .. The bathroom was one of the best big and clean
Review 35:Cheaper on booking.com and although stood in reception still had to process through email
Review 36:Friendly staff. Restaurant on site which also advertised you could use taste card
Review 37:Not too bad really but I didn't get to view things at breakfast - my fault I suppose!
Review 38:Excellent shower/en suite facilities; better than premier inn for me.
Review 39:I was charged for drinks which I had not ordered. When I asked on which day of my stay I ordered the drinks the receptionist said there was no date on the account yet I had been billed for it. He made me pay for it and later he found out he was wrong and refunded the money. I found the whole affair bizarre and strange and very unprofessional and the receptionist insistence that I paid even though he could not tell me from his records on which day during my stay I ordered the drinks. Also they will not provide two keys which is inconvenient as a couple on a business trip we come and go at different times.
Review 40:Fridge in room
Review 41:No car park facilities, even though it stated there was secure parking. The car park was undertaking building work. I felt the man at reception was not understanding of customer needs.
Review 42:For a hotel that is called "Airlink" there was no link to the airport - no free transfer - in fact no transfer at all - we had to get taxis to and from the hotel. The hotel was noisy and we couldn't sleep, because of the noise from the night club. The breakfast was really disappointing.
Review 43:The room was clean
Review 44:We chose this hotel because of its proximity to Heathrow. The hotel is with walking distance to the nearest train statio from which you can take a train to the nearest tube station. The rooms were clean and comfortable with basic facilities - I could not locate a hair dryer. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly! Overall very good!
Review 45:Shower was rusty and didn't work properly, towels were like cardboard, stain on toilet seat. No water
Review 46:Room was clean and staff did fix any problems.
Review 47:I booked a double bedroom.but my bed had two single mattress instead of a double bed mattress.so i can't sleep in the middle of the bed.so I don't like bed.
Review 48:Staff was good and friendly.inner environment was good.
Review 49:Curtains didn't close properly, parking is limited.
Review 50:It's not as close as other airport hotels but it is definitely much better quality for the price. Quiet and comfortable.
Review 51:The bathroom could have been cleaned a bit more thoroughly.
Review 52:The room we were given was very nice, plenty big enough for the two of us, warm, quiet and well decorated.
Review 53:The staff didnt seem bothered...we went for breakfast downstairs we were going to pay for it but we were sitting there for 15 minutes n knowbody came to us...they had 1 staff making breakfast..we left and told the reception and he wasnt bothered at all and didnt even say sorry so we went out to subway instead
Review 54:The location and room was ok...
Review 55:Breakfast is too expensive for what you get, not worth it. Too much noise from another room and nothing was done about that by the hotel.
Review 56:Price for what you get
Review 57:Never been asked for photo ID on check in before! And when I didn't have it, there was some hesitation as to whether I would be allowed to stay
Review 58:Very clean, comfortable, quiet room. Great value for money
Review 59:Wifi signal in my room was really poor. No chance to cancel breakfast (i was told it's not possible because I booked via booking.com).
Review 60:Pleasant and helpful staff, clean, quiet, small but comfortable room, really comfortable bed. It turned out I have ordered full english breakfast which was tastefull but too heavy to me so I ate continental. Although It's not possible to book continental breakfast via booking.com,the continental is cheaper so you can pick it (for the price of full). Easy connection to Heathrow support via bus. Train station to London Center is 5 minutes walk. For non-indian dinner Gooooood to The Botwell Inn - round the corner , good meals and beer for reasonable price.
Review 61:The windows were quite high up which was a bit wierd and with residential houses behind it was loud on the particular night we stayed as there was some party with loud music. The woman at reception was very rude and had a bad attitude.
Review 62:The room was very clean and the lighting space and decor were nice really nice.
Review 63:Booking dot com sent the reservation through incorrectly so there was no bed for my daughter. The staff were not willing to correct the issue and so we had to leave. They did refund my card without argument. Parking is an extra £10 which is too much.
Review 64:I paid for breakfast but after 30 mins all I received was some dry toast and a coffee with no milk or sugar , I had to ask for my money back and left very disappointed
Review 65:Clean rooms
Review 66:Around 10:30 pm I was ready to sleep when I heard people talking outside in the corridor However I mentioned to the morning sttaff and he told me next time to tell them straight away and they will sort the situation, :)
Review 67:I had an option to park my car at next door public car park with a low fee and free overnight The sttaffs are friendly Room comfortable
Review 68:I spent one night at the Airlink Hotel & Banqueting whilst on business. My room was really awesome neat and tidy. And special thanks to the friendly and helpful hotel receptionist. The stay was very comfortable.
Review 69:The breakfast offering was a bit basic.
Review 70:The staff was very friendly and helpful. Roomy, clean and tastefully furnished, despite being somewhat off the beaten path.
Review 71:The exterior looks a bit suspect but as soon as you enter the door the place is very efficient and pleasant with very tidy and well equipped room and tasty continental breakfast. All in all excellent!!
Review 72:Industrial surroundings, but hey! we didn't spend much time looking at the view!!
Review 73:Close to M25 and rail link to London. Fantastic Indian food at a reasonable price. Clean and comfortable, very stylish and great value for the money.
Review 74:Noisy rooms to front of hotel, misleading pics on booking.com, bar closed in evening, room doors offer little sound insulation. Not even a bottle of water in room. Unpleasant location.
Review 75:I was not told in advance that they would keep a,deposit , which left me short of money for a weeks time after my visit til it was all refunded , quit annoying
Review 76:Other than the first time when we visited , this time they actually gave us a double bed as,booked and mot, twin matress , great service and helpful staff
Review 77:Good facilities. Good free night parking nearby. But check times on the pay machine for day parking. Adequate breakfast but would be better if a variety of cheese and bread was provided.
Review 78:Parking was £10 though there is a free/cheap parking lot adjacent but looks a bit dubious given contains only two cars - if not precious about car id say it will be fine though!
Review 79:Room was spacious enough, clean, good shower, free Internet big tv with hdmi and USB port Was breakfast included but I've yet to try
Review 80:Couldn't connect to wifi but could have been my error
Review 81:Nice sized rooms, very big TV, food was delicious, staff extremely friendly, breakfast was cooked very well, price of room was very reasonable
Review 82:Nothing really, don't be put off by the rather bland 'office block' looking building, inside it is very nice.
Review 83:Staff were very friendly and helpful at check in, you can leave your car in the council carpark right next door (cheap)or the hotel has a few spaces in it's own carpark (more expensive but not too much). The room was spotlessly clean and nicely furnished. Great place to stay right in the centre of Hayes.
Review 84:I was given a disabled persons room. small, low washbasin and wet room, which flooded across the whole bathroom as the outlet was blocked, no towels were left for me on any of the 3 days even after I complained... 3 separate times. The morning receptionist then argued with me about the towels telling me I was lying and then, because of this, I was late and had to take a train instead of a taxi, he refused to send the taxi away (it was 20 minutes early as well) and wanted me to pay the full fare as compensation. This was 'Customer Service' week too! This is the worst hotel for service that I've ever had the misfortune to stay at. never again. BTW The restaurant serves warm food on cold plates too. Be warned. This is not a nice hotel.
Review 85:big room, comfortable bed large TV with good channels
Review 86:No smoking throw out the whole hotel, located in an industrial and low income area. Nothing in the area to do. This is a business hotel and not for tourists who have been out all day and want a comfortable chair to come into and relax. For the money it was not worth it.
Review 87:Clean room and quiet!
Review 88:Hotel was perfect situated close to hayes & harlington station and within easy reach to the motorways. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was decent and staff were very polite.
Review 89:We stayed at this hotel on a visit to our daughter. The room we had was very modern, clean and well maintained. The bed was excellent and the room was serviced each day. All of the staff were very pleasant and happy to assist. The restaurant menu offered a good choice of food which was well presented and tasty. We will without hesitation stay at this hotel again. Thank you all for a very pleasant stay
Review 90:I stayed here for about two weeks in a superior double room. The shock was that this room was made for disabled people. The bathroom's sink was very low and you can't put anything on it (soap cream etc..) because it was for disabled people. There were no napkins (I.e. Tissues) in the room. I had to use rolls from the bathroom. The breakfast was another shock. Nothing was cooked. No omlet, sausage. Nothing! There was only croasaunts and cerial and bread and butter and jam with some boiled eggs.
Review 91:People talking loudly in the corridor late at night, they were not even trying to be quiet. The smell of curry permeates the whole building. Dodgy area of London.
Review 92:Night staff wasn't very friendly we ask for ice and did not get it then I have ring at reception 3 time he was saying 20 mins but did not get ice but 90 mins it's very poor
Review 93:Bathroom facilities cramped parking limited Why charge £10.00 when you can have round the corner for £2.00 per day...odd
Review 94:room ok location ok to get to was odd...through industrial estate...
Review 95:We thought the bed linen just wasn't ironed, but on our leaving day we went to have breakfast when we got back to our room the cleaner had been in and the bed linen hadn't been changed so it made to wonder was our bed linen not fresh.sorry.
Review 96:Paying extra for tiny car park. Very limited menu for restaurant, ifyou don't like Indian cuisine, then you have a problem. Breakfastwas strange, with no cooked breakfasts available. The area is alittle run down.
Review 97:Quick access to airport, but avoid the m4 and go down the old a4 insteadto avoid the morning rush hour traffic. Nice rooms. Good but limitedrestaurant. Friendly Staff.
Review 98:There was a party ongoing downstairs the restaurant, a lot on bass. Shower was not cleaned (old shampoo bottles found on top of the shower. Floor was dirty, under the bed sigaret buds and botles were found. Overall impression was not okay
Review 99:Wifi connection was okay
Review 100:Information I saw when making the booking said the room is 40M2, as we travel with small child, we prefer apartment but thought if the room is so big, it should be good. But it's not 40, maybe 14! The area is quite industrial.
Review 101:Easy drive to legoland, and easy to commute to London city. Very nice restaurant, good breakfast, very nice staff, quite comfortable room and bathroom.
Review 102:Finding there was a £10 charge to use their car park, the public one next door was only free during the night and you had to be out by 8am or face a £60 fine. There was a wedding party going on downstairs so there was quite loud music for some time, however, it did stop at about 11pm.
Review 103:Location great for Heathrow
Review 104:Didn't like the fact that this time was asked to pay on check in. Haven't previously. Not worth paying the extra for better room. Not as spotless this time round. Breakfast not that good buy ok for price. I did explain this to reception and offered ways for them to improve. Which they took well and welcomed my input.
Review 105:No frills just good for a quick stop. This was the 3rd return. Value for money.
Review 106:The housekeeping staff do not respect your privacy! I had cleaners opening my door in the morning while i was in bed (even though the "do not disturb" sign was hung up! The double bed was 2 singles placed next to eachother and they kept sliding apart!
Review 107:The rooms are lovely everything is new and in good condition
Review 108:I didn't like the pillows but my daughter did. So I can not really fault them
Review 109:The hotel was clean bright and very roomy , everything was in tip top condition . The shower was very very good . The beds comfortable .The young French man at the reception was extremely helpful as was the other young staff . I would definitely stay again if I was in this location .
Review 110:The breakfast which we ordered was nothing special. I think carparking should be free for customers, Not many choice of channels on the television. There was no water to drink in the rooms (no water bottles) No mini-fridge to keep any drinks cool.
Review 111:I liked the free wifi. The staff were friendly and helpful it was easy to book in and check out it was a good deal considering it was last minute. Nice and clean The continental breakfast exceeded our expectations we got more than we expected. No fuss hotel just quickly pop in .
Review 112:Having to pay for the car park which is adjacent to a public carpark
Review 113:The rooms were a good size and spotlessly clean. Th ebed was very comfortable and considering its proximity to the road it was very quiet. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the general area and the best routes to Heathrow Airport.
Review 114:I found the towels are a little to old. It is better to provide newer towels.
Review 115:The room is clean and well managed. Continental breakfast I simple but good enough for that fees.
Review 116:Asked for room to be cleaned upon arrival as found hairs in bed dirty footprints on shower floor and old newspaper found on windowsill !
Review 117:Close proximity to heathrow airport, easy to find, reception staff were helpful, plenty of food outlets close by.
Review 118:Nothing to dislike
Review 119:Great location for the area you are in. Excellent Indian food plus other options available. Room very good, spacious and clean. All facilities in room. secure car parking at minimal cost. Staff very friendly and accommodating.
Review 120:- Missing toiletbrush. - Its not a mess but cleanliness could slightly be improved.
Review 121:- Friendly staff. - Rooms were nicely decorated and spacious. - Interior in general (Water boiler, fridge), TV. - Close to the station (Within day pass range, zone 6). - Breakfast was delicious (even if not extremely large in choice).
Review 122:Young lady at breakfast may have been new, as she seemed a bit lost, and unsure what to do. It needs a small shelf in the bathroom, as there is not much room around the sink, but these are really nitpicking things, as we can happily manage without
Review 123:Pillows ! They are great. Everything else is almost perfect.
Review 124:Breakfast only starts at 7:30. An earlier start would be nice.
Review 125:Very comfortable bed & pillows. Nice large TV in the room. Shower was nice and hot. All facilities in the room were new. Room was very quiet even though it's on the first floor.
Review 126:As we get that room from someone who get it by mistake was some rubbish in toilet and coffee, milk, sugar was taken but we was ok about that.its a bit of money in this area but compare with fully booked all hotels in London and rooms thats right,in general happy to stay again. Also we get only one big towel but thats all right, hope next time to get some small discount :)
Review 127:Area for me and my partner was good,as we was searching for something whole day so basically this hotel helped us we came from heathrow, staff awesome kind, good, smilling, didnt see better staff before honestly, room was spacy, nice, big tv,we get just twin beds because room was last but its ok we made one king size bed, carpet soft, warm, bathroom good nice shower relaxing, doors new style locking, very very good,i will be back there again and will recomend to everyone.thank for all of you
Review 128:Staff very friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Spacious well fitted clean rooms. Buffet breakfast items unusual but plentiful. Couldn't be more central to Hayes.
Review 129:Nothing to dislike.
Review 130:Staff very friendly, very helpful, parking secure for minor cost. Excellent Indian food plus other options, TV Screen. Rooms very clean and excellent condition throughout. Great location for staying over.
Review 131:When I checked my room I noticed that the toilet hasn't been cleaned properly. (but problem got solved in just a couple of minutes)
Review 132:The room was really nice, clean and tidy The staff was really kind, always smiling and helpful if needed
Review 133:Very small room, could hear road noise. There was no bar in the hotel unless you eat in the restaurant, pillows rock hard (like concrete),- spare pillows had stains and no pillar cases Breakfast really poor , food and service needs upgrading. We arrived back at the hotel at 11pm after a night out the main door was locked and we had to ring a mobile number for a member of staff to let us in, (very bad for a hotel).Concerns over lift safety, we used the stairs instead, don't think I shall be returning.
Review 134:Very clean modern hotel with car park, Air con and flat screen tv, and fridge in room
Review 135:Hayes is not the nicest of places, but the hotel was very good and easy to get the train.
Review 136:Lovely clean hotel, would recommend to any business traveller. A quick hop out of London on the train and you get much better value for money.
