Review 1：Small niggle: Dining room a little too 'canteen'-like. Ok for breakfast but evening meal needed candles, maybe large plants etc to break up the vastness of the place and add some atmosphere.

Review 2：Beautiful location, fabulous staff. Professional, well organised Mark Warner staff, especially the nannies (didn't use their services but saw them in action!) and the tennis staff!

Review 3：We have paid for a bus to pick us up from the hotel and take us to the port but because of luck of communication between security people outside the hotel and the reception, the bus left us behind cause no one informed us. The funny thing was that we were waiting by the gate and we were watching the bus leaving the hotel without us. We had to take a taxi and paid 40 euros to take us to the port. Of course we were late and the last passengers on board.

Review 4：Lots of facilities for the whole family!! Water sports, tennis courts, Swimming pools, Beach Volley etc

Review 6：the perfect place to relax if you wish to do some activity between the drinks on the beach without having to run around half a day to try and figure out how to get out on the water, dive, play tennis etc..

Review 7：Staff composed of not professional but occasional workers. Poor english. Waiters really slow in the restaurant. The restaurant chief did not want to really help when we asked for a bowl to prepare the meal of our baby. No net to avoid mosquitos entering in the rooms so obliged to sleep with windows closed and air conditioning on.

Review 9：Wifi on charge. The extra charge for a late chech-out (being a Genius Booking guest we should keep the room till 2 pm upon availability, room was available but they ask for an extra charge of 92 €)

Review 11：Seriously: what is the problem of setting up a wifi system? There are even mobile installation units in existence. All kids today have tablets and like to watch their stuff after an eventful day. Internet has come to stay. 25 years ago.

Review 13：The food was a real disappointment. You would expect to get fresh and local . ingredients instead we received meals mostly canned and rearranged. No sea food and if so frozen. Do not take the half/full board. Better to take a taxi and eat in Kardamena. Breakfast is fine.

Review 21：This is more of a noisy hotel with all-day aerobic classes with loud music than a hotel where to rest. The clientele is cheap and the staff isn't helpful at all

Review 22：Poor buffet for lunch time We haven't been advise that you need to make a cash deposit at your arrival in order to cover the extra that you are taking at the pool or the buffet. I was disappointed by this and did not feel in a 4* hotel, even though it is Greece I have never seen that in another country.

Review 24：Bathroom too small and shower in bath tap with protection wall did not work properly, there was water all over the floor. We prefer separate shower!

Review 26：Localization is not the best unless you have a car, as it is quiet far away from the town. ATTENTION: the marked location of the hotel on the map from booking.com is not correct. The pin is located on the Porto Bello Royal hotel. For a correct location, you can look directly at google map, as the Lakitira resort is correctly pinned. Also the hotel sits right on the landing trajectory of the airplanes. There are quiet a few planes even in the middle of the night, but in the end the noise is not too disturbing, and rooms are well insulated. Room ventilation on the other hand is very noisy, but can be stopped. Bathroom is not so well thought out, as taking a bath or a shower will spill a lot of water outside the tub. The beach is only sand until the water, after it becomes stones, and thus getting in the water is not very nice.

Review 27：Nice pools, one small for kids, one bigger for leisure (but still a bit too many kids), and a very quiet one for sports. Possibility to play tennis, even without partner, thanks to social tennis at 5pm. You can also pay for training session. Nice sandy beach. Nice waterfront well equipped for windsurf and sailing. But not included in the price, and very expensive, unless you book through Mark Warner. Very big and clean rooms, with comfortable bed, shower + bathtub, 2 toilets. We were upgraded to a suite (42m2, bedroom + living room) from a deluxe twin room. We were on half-board basis, and the buffet for both breakfast and dinner was very good. Dinner buffet selections changed everyday, with both international food and Greek specialties. Parking easily available in front of the hotel if you have a car, or a bus is going very often to Kardamena town. Day trips can also be booked at the hotel.
