Just a 2-minute walk along the stairs from Šibenik Bus Station, Hostel Splendido has free Wi-Fi, a communal kitchen and a lounge area with cable TV. Guests are greeted with a welcome drink at the Splendido Bar, which has a terrace and a billiards table.

Review 1：So very fast With and cozy to rest. I stayed 1night but staff is very nice and I stayed more time and could cook for my lunch after checking out (my bus departure time was 13:45)
Review 2：This is a beautifully run family hostel, Ljubica and her daughter Zrinka (probably not correctly spelt) are incredibly friendly - I bought a chicken to roast without checking if there was an oven (there isn't), and Ljubica cut up the chicken, lit the charcoals on fire and grilled it for me! Goes to show how much they care about their guests. Great location and facilities, Sibenik is beautiful - must visit, highly recommend Hostel Splendido, I hope to return
Review 3：The owner is so lovely. She went out of her way to make me comfortable as I was sick during my stay. She offered to make me a lemon and honey tea on numerous occasions. The hostel is spotless! Great location, 2 min from the bus station and local market. 5 min from the old town.

Review 9：Incredibly friendly and helpful staff, on call day and night. Offered to drive us to a local town and also to the Krka National Park. Well located and easy to find.
Review 10：The hostel was very cosy and homely, which is not surprising as it is a family-run business. They went out of their way to make us feel at home and seemed genuinely interested in our travels. They even helped us with the next step of our trip. The hostel is in an excellent location, next to the main square, the markets, the bus station and the coast. It's a short trip to the national park of Krka (and the son can drive you there and back for the same price as a bus/coach). The hostel was the picture of the town of Sibenik: small, warm and authentic.
Review 11：No key to the premises - doors are left unlocked and this made me feel quite insecure. Not enough power sockets in the room and awkward placements of those that were available - especially for those sleeping on the top bunks. Not enough reasonably sized lockable cabinets in the room and many were damaged or keys were missing.

Review 13：The family which runs the hostel is incredible nice and the lady gave me really good advices! Very familiar atmosphere! The position is also great, very close to the old town. For traveling by car it is perfect, because they have a private parking! As usual in mediterranean old towns the streets are very narrow, but the doughter and the son of the hostel helped me everytime I needed help for parking

Review 17：It was fairly unorganised, came to check in at 4pm and there was no one around, had to hover around awkwardly until someone turned up, then room still had to be cleaned. People were getting moved around the dorms due to over booking. The lady there was lovely but seemed to be struggling to run the place.
Review 18：It was a clean comfortable hostel and right next to the bus station which was good however not super close to town, didn't really matter though I'd rather have a shorter distance to walk with my bags. The bathrooms were good and the rooms were air conditioned which is a must.

Review 20：The hosts are very caring and friendly. The dorm rooms are spacious and well maintained (the best I've seen in my travels through Croatia). The staff did all they could to help me when I had realised I had left documents in Split by calling on my behalf to assist - I'm very grateful for this, thanks! I would not hesitate in recommending this hostel to my friends and fellow backpackers.
Review 21：There was only one toilet/shower room for each gender. Even if there were no genders for the bathroom it would mean less waiting. Take ear plugs if you want to go to bed early as the bar is under some rooms.
Review 22：2min walk from bus station and sign posted!!! Easy walk to old town and we were able to leave our bag for the day when we went to the national park.

Review 24：Practically on top of bus station (important, if you have heavy bag), local buses and market a bit farther - maybe 3-5 min uphill. All the sights within walking distance, nice patio where to enjoy the night (or balcony, if not in mood for company). Tortoises racing around tables in the back yard.
Review 25：The owner was very friendly and even let me use her reception computer when my phone didn't work. Also very relaxed with checking out and leaving luggage. Good location as well, I arrived late in the evening and even in the dark it was easy to find.
Review 26：I realised that there is a space between the door of the room and the ceiling, so in case it would be lot of people in hostel, specially in summer, can be very noisy. The door of the room was a glass, so while you are changing or sleeping anybody that cross the hostel is looking you, at least in the 6 rooms door. They should do something about, then it would be very nice.

Review 31：It's only 2 minutes walk to the bus station, and 5 minutes walk to the old town. The bed is very comfortable and clean. Staff very nice, it's low season, so I booked a doom bed but only me using one room! The towel is very clean.
Review 32：Staff were lovely, very accommodating and enthusiastic to give information about the area. Just up the steps from the bus station and very close to the waterfront of a stunning little town. Plenty of bathrooms which were always so clean and a lovely terrace to sit outside with other guests.
Review 33：The hostel is very nice and comfortable, there is a little kitchen, a nice terrace to sit outside and a bar downstairs. Hostel and bar belong to very friendly and helpful familiy. It is also very close to the old town of Šibenik.

Review 41：Not very good for light sleepers like me. The café right below the hostel was noisy to late night and started blasting music very early. If you sleep hard you won't mind at all. I however found myself not being able to sleep until very late at night and then woke up at 7 am.

The wifi was stable and relatively fast (I had no trouble loading long youtube videos in HD in no time). The facilities were clean and worked well, there aren't many complaints I can make.

Review 44：The welcome we had at this hostel was incredible. The host (sorry, I can't remember her name) was so helpful and recommended how best to get to Krka, what to see in town, lovely places to eat etc. The hostel was uber clean and tidy, and the family were lovely. Also, the location was perfect, really near the bus stop if you wish to visit areas around and also 5 mins walk from the town centre, which is absolutely stunning, especially at night. If you go to Sibenik, don't stay anywhere else! :-)

Review 51：There was no air conditioning in the room. Altho there was a small fan. The room cooled off in the early hours. This was mid June and it was hot so it must be sweltering in July and August. The room had a balcony that overlooked the garden which opened onto the bar so it was a little noisy. There was no way to look the bedroom door or front door of the building. Not good for safety. The lockers in the rooms were small. A couple didn't lock and they could all be easily pulled open even when locked.

Review 84：The hostel is small, but clean and well located just next to the bus station. We stayed in double room (big terrace, comfortable double - bed) so cannot really advice on the dorms but we used common area and bathrooms are new & kitchen convenient.

Our room didn't have air con installed as the hostel is waiting to have this put in but when we mentioned it was quite hot at night the owners daughter went straight out and bought us a fan which was very much appreciated. We also liked the fact that there was a bar downstairs and the terrace area was nice to relax on in the evenings. We loved staying here!

Review 98：The "private" room is in fact an annex of the dorm and you have to go through the dorm to get to your room. So you hear all the conversations from the people in there... The dorm has air conditioned, the room does not.
Review 99：Hostel 'Splendido' is the place I definitely will come back and bring friends. What you see in pictures are what you get. The hostel is very clean, cozy and the owners are just great and very helpful. It's a family business, so everything is like at home. They have place to cook, bar, where you can get your free-welcome drink and hostel is near the cost, bus and train stations. Old town is few seconds away. If you're looking for nice place to stay in Sibenik, you must definitely come to this hostel.
