Review 1：It is not a real 5 star hotel, more like a nicer 4 star. However, I think the price also reflects it, so you get what you pay for. You notice that a large part of the staff just tries to be friendly but are actually pretty tense and look overworked. The child facilities are very limited, and small child related noises were not well tolerated by either neighbours and management. Food OK but again, not a 5 star.

Review 2：Compared to other hotels on the island, this is a resort park with smaller buildings spread over a larger area with a large pool system.

Review 5：Wifi only worked in room, didn't work outdoors or in hotel lobby. We were given an upstairs room even though we requested ground floor due to traveling with a baby. There is no elevator. After 2 nights a manager moved us to a ground floor room which was appreciated, but that same room was available the whole time we were there and the other staff didn't offer us it. Ants in the ground floor room bathroom Trousers must be worn to dinner. I didn't have any so had to pay 23 euro for a pair from the hotel mini market. It seems a lot of people make this same mistake There are no double beds, all rooms are twin. They can put a thin double mattress on top of the two beds which they did for us but you still fall down the gap in the beds - not so romantic :)

Review 7：The facilities for playing tennis were quite poor. It was advertised as a main activity but the rackets, balls and the court were bad quality.

Review 8：The rooftop restaurant l'etoile was lovely, very good value for money and amazing staff. The beach was very close, with a private area for the resort's guests. As well as the beach, the pool was very large with lots to space for the sun-beds. Water polo was also very good fun in the pool, which was run by the resort.

Review 9：Our request to get a pool room was not accepted even though our room type was also on the pool. They reserve the pool rooms for travel agency reservations.

Review 11：What a disappointment! Reserved through booking.com back in May, twofamily suits at the pool/garden view area and not the mainbuilding. Called the night before at 11 pm to inquire whether we wereassigned the area we requested and were happily informed that we were(with one room separating the two families apart). Only to come at11:00 am in the morning to rooms in the main building which we did notwant as it is a completely different experience. Explenation was that atravel agent called the same morning and paid more than what we did andtherefore got priority over our booking.com reservation. Receptionclerks were completely unhelpful telling us the hotel is fully bookedand they have the right to make last minute changes. They might haverooms for us tomorrow… so two families with two toddlers each wereexpected not to unpack and just sit around and wait for tomorrow. Frontdesk said- wait till you see your room … it’s a very nice room, seaview. Not that it matters, because we wanted the pool area for adifferent kind of experience but this is the view from our room. Nextday they could not move us and on the third day, proposed a superiorroom, which was lower priced than the family suit we originallyrequested and not fitting our needs. We ended up staying at the familyrooms in the main building the entire stay. The resort may be nice, butdefinitely lacks points in customer service! We later heard of severalstories like ours, including a handicapped person who received a roomon the second floor with no elevator. Come to this resort only if youare willing to gamble on your room.

Review 12：The food is nice but not enough variety between every day. We expected that the in an all inclusive option we can choose which restaurant to eat in and not just coupons. There is not enough activity for small children . A slide in the kids pool would have been nice. We saw the animation team only a half an hour a day for the water aerobics and there was no activity at the kids club.

There is a supermarket next to the hotel and a small shop inside the main building. 5-minute drive to the Faliraki center and 15 mins to the Rhodes town. Roof-top cafe with a wonderful view is just perfect.

He brought special made puree for our child everyday, asked about our experience and did the best. It put us in good spirits every morning. It's a good example of excellent service with human touch! Despite small shortcomings, your overall experience is excellent. We recommend this hotel for all families with kids, it has superb pool area, different activities and child-friendly stuff. Rooms are big and comfortable, they have large terraces with good view. These terraces are comfortable for evening wine drinking and observing sunset. Thank you, we had much pleasure to stay with you.

Review 28：There is no "king" bed, they've connected two beds. First day there was no toilet paper in the room, no soap. They have not added soap until end of stay. There is no iron & iron board available on the property !! 5* hotel in which you cannot iron your shirt which you need for the evening....

Review 34：I totally agree with the previous comments: there is a very poor quality of wifi connection (almost everywhere so forget it),ice-cold useless noisy private pool,noisy air conditioning,we observed dirt in different parts of the hotel especially on the beach what was more a public beach than a private one .The beach is the less beautiful place at the hotel with uncomfortable sunbeds and you don't fell yourself like at in a resort.

Tried to tell us they did not have access to special requests of booking.com + told us they did not have connecting rooms.... When we tried to see the GM the next day suddenly 2 interconnecting rooms came available..... Also we were disappointed with the restaurants available for people who were not on all inclusive package.

Review 44：If I ever holiday in Rhodes again then I will only stay at La Marquise. We were upgraded to a villa with a private pool. You could not fault anything, from the maids to management everyone was so pleasant and could not do enough to make you feel welcome and special. Thank you all at La Marquise.

Review 45：Being of Greek origin I was extremely disappointed that there was not even one Greek Language channel on the television.

Review 82：The AC in our room - 3214 - was noisy and woke us up at night starting day 1. I complained at reception and the technician did not show up. We complained again after 2 days, he came and that night was fine. The following night it started again so they sent another technician who could just do a quick fix, since the AC started making loud noises the following night again. Although we asked for another room, they kept assuring us the problem would be fixed and when our patience was over - the 9th night - they said they had no availabilities. Also, it it ridiculous that wifi is available only at reception and the signal is extremely low and unstable. They say they give you a cable to use the laptop in the room when most people nowadays use smartphones and tablets. Imagine that when every single tavern and restaurant on the island has free wifi.....not a 5 star definitely!
