Review 3：Lakitira suites is an outstanding resort complex being part of a bigger one with another 2 hotels. The whole setup is immaculate, the rooms perfectly clean, the site is stunning, the beach incredible. What is the most outstanding quality of this hotel is the food of the half-board setup, by far the best kitchen team ever experienced and even amongst much pricier 5 star hotels visited world wide. The team is incredible friendly you experience oustanding Greek hospitality, excellent food, a fantastic location and all of that very reasonably priced....

Review 6：The location is directly below a flight path. The rooms you purchase do not match the photographs, and this hotel is not on the beach. They do not allow you to charge to the room, rather they expect that you pay cash.

Review 11：Location is perfect, right at the center of the istand, not far to all the most beautiful beaches. The beach itself is very pleasant, tranquil and clean. Room was absolutely great, clean and comfortable. Service and staff are amazing.

Review 14：Our room wasn't what I would consider 5* quality - wasn't a very large room and the quality of furniture was fairly standard. The room also wasn't quite as clean as I would have hoped, dirty mirror and quite a few hairs on the bathroom floor! I gave the hotel a 10/10 for cleanliness though because the communal areas of the hotel were impeccable. Strange really - would expect it to be the other way round! We used the Spa at the Helona which we thought was very, very expensive but were given a deal when we arrived which made it more competitive. As someone who enjoys spa's I can honestly say this is the best one I've had. The massage was fantastic and the facilities were really nice - again the staff couldn't do enough for you. Another couple of points - no wireless in the hotel room was not to 5* quality - only wifi in reception. There is also a door stop next to where you get out of the bath in the bathroom which I had the misfortune of standing on by accident on the first day which was agony - very poor design. Also at breakfast drinks were included - orange juice, tea, coffee - but at dinner time they clearly wanted to sell you alcohol which is fair enough, but felt they should at least have provided water free of charge but was not the case.

Review 15：As so many others have said, the staff at this hotel are great. Very friendly and can't do enough for you. The breakfast was good quality with excellent choice. The dinner was fantastic quality, again with excellent choice. Having travelled all around Kos during our stay I felt that we were as well positioned as we possibly could be, close to the airport, near the best beaches on the island with Kardamena in very close proximity which is full of tourist shops, reasonable nightlife and lots of restaurants. I believe Lakitira is the one of the best positioned hotels on the island.

Review 16：WiFi reception was poor on some of the days and only reachable from the lobby or pool. Bottled water priced a bit too high (since tap water is not drinkable bottled water should be sold near average retail price)

Review 20：Accommodation was very well presented, 2 separate rooms so teenage girls had their own space and privacy. They also managed to get wifi in their room which wasn't guaranteed but a definite bonus! The staff, whether reception or restaurant were excellent. Very attentive, kind and effecient. The food was excellent, so much choice to suit every palate! The suites were quiet, which we particularly liked but for those who wanted more atmosphere, the separate complex was very close offering an array of activities for children, beauty salon, and watersports. If you want these and want to be close on hand, it would be best to book the other accommodation, rather than the suites. We liked the suites due to it's more peaceful atmosphere.

Review 23：The hotel is located 4km from Kardamena village which is far from the city Kos and the port of Kos,,however the airport is only 15-20 minutes drive away. The taxi costs from hotel to Kos is 40.- EUR, to airport 22.- EUR, to Kardamena 10.- EUR. Taxis can be ordered from reception and it will arrive within 10 minutes. From the Kardamena’s port you can rent a boat trip to Nysiros island. We recomend to spend one day for visit this island. Just don't buy tickets to tour buses. On the island you can rent a car or scooter and feel free. Service in the hotel was perfect during our stays. Reception people, as well as restaurant manager and the waiters were the best in all aspects. The breakfasts and suppers was delicious. Big and nice pool area is there. There also is a small private beach with no problems of free sunbeds and beach umbrellas. We stayed at the best memories of our stay in this hotel.

Review 24：Not much evening entertainment, and not any other channels in English apart from news. Toilet seat was broken which I fixed only to find out the next day that housekeeping broke it again. Unfortunately it was very windy the days we went and there was not much shelter from the wind around the pool, but the beach was less windy.

Review 28：This is not a 5 star hotel!! This is not a beach front hotel!!! (Faraway from the beach and not any beach service!!). The water in the hotelbeach allways dirty from swage. The all inclusive food it is garbage!!Constant noise from airplanes (24h) since they fly over the hotel. Theairport is 2km away. Stay away from this tourist trap.

Review 55：The hotel doesn't have many facilities for a 5 star hotel. It has one small swimming pool. The sauna can not basically be used as I doubt its cleanliness, since I saw a silverfish in the shower next to it. To access the beach you must go out of the hotel and walk about 5 minutes through the street and enter the Lakitira Resort's beach. The hotel is located in Kardamena village which is far from the city Kos, and there is not much to see around this village.

Review 59：mark warner! we choose lakitira because it offered sports on arrival we inquired with MW staff for a sailing course and they seemed to think that we couldn't join after a while they sent us to another office there the guy said that we could join if there were places (fair enough as we were independent guests) and he asked us to go back after a few days we went back as asked and he said that we had to go back again in the afternoon as he wasn't sure about places we went back in the afternoon and it was like he was seeing us for the first time... there were no places and he asked us to go back in few days... we did not go back and found instead that the portobello has a great sail/surf school (2 min walking from lakitira beach) were marco and mike are only too happy to get you sailig, similar prices but one to one teaching instead of a group of six and much more flexibility

Review 60：the staff are really lovely, always kind smiling and doing their best to make you welcome the location is great, the best beach south of kardamena and no busy road between the hotel and the beach facilities on the beach and pool are great, reserved area with sunbed and umbrellas, never too crowded they offered us a free upgrading on arrival from a family room to a suite!!!! thanks again for that food in the morning is great, lunch at the pool is really convenient and of very good quality, dinner is buffet, there were always a few things really good and the meat is of really good quality animation staff is lovely but not overbearing, my daughter enjoyed a lot the evening shows as the suites are on the hill they get more wind that on the beach, so if the day is too hot staying in the pool is better everything is really clean and the gardens are lovely and well maintained all in all a great place difficult to find a fault

Review 61：Poor soundproofing - both walls and doors, which causes the wind to howl right into the room and to hear neighbours talking, especially from the bathroom. Uncomfortable, low quality foam pillows. Shower leaks into the bathroom making a mess, both because the separating wall is too short and the water leaked from under the glass door (room 723). Loud air conditioning. Beware of Italian tour groups, their kids can get incredibly loud during and after the meals.

Review 63：No Concierge after midnight means that check-in during the night is at'sister' hotel nearby, followed by short transfer with 'internal' taxi(reasonably efficient but it is an irritation if you are tired).

Review 65：Lakitira sweets was accomodating and welcoming the moment we arrived. We Were treated very well by all staff and made to feel special by all staff. The hotel was very clean and beautiful and such a nice place to relax and enjoy the sun And hotels facilities. The beach is a 5 minute walk but there is also a huge pool always clean and ready to swim in. The staff bring around watermelon aswell, just ine example of how this hotel offers amazing service and goes one step further in accomodating their guests. The hotel also has an amazing kitchen and restaurant offering buffet breakfast amd dinner far superior to any hotel buffets i have had previously. The menu changes daily and the food always fresh and delicious, staff are efficient and friendly. The staff were the best thing about lakitira and we will miss them and have them to thank for such an amazing week at lakitira suites!

Review 66：Everything related to technology there is a joke. Make your own arrangements for Internet connectivity. Room access cards work... quite often but not always. There are better ways to put charge to the room than asking the guest to write their name, room number and sign for each EUR 1 bottle of water purchased. IT department of Lakitira - you get the message, you have a lot of room for improvement to match your colleagues' standard.
