Review 1：The carpet is a reminiscence of the past glory of this place and the cleanliness is just on the edge for European standards, and the pool was unusable probably because the ashes ofnthe haze. They seem to not like the concept of changing the sheets for all the hosts.

Review 2：Pretty cool architecture with that decadent charm that you can only find in some second tier Las Vegas hotels. Staff is super nice and helpful and although their English is kind of basic they were always willing to help. The restaurant area and lobby is one of those places that looks like the time has stopped somewhere in the early 80's as if they were about to organize a reception for the consul or something like that. The haze was getting into the lobby and that completed that "the shining" look that will make your Instagram get on fire. Probably one of the best hotels in Pontianak, don't get me wrong, they let us do a late ccheck-out without extra charge. Food and breakfast are quite good! Go there to crash one night if you happen to be in Pontianak for some reason... Bonus: fill the sink and watch the water drain with no swirl and let your brain explode.

Review 5：Things that the hotel claims they have, but don't: satellite tv, mini-bar, English speaking staff, garden view rooms. The window was broken so anyone could access my room, their were piles of cigarette ash in my non smoking room and fresh chewing gum on the carpet and the electric sockets don't work. Additionally the pool was dirty and the on-site restaurant had sold out of most of the items on the menu despite being deserted. Terrible!

Review 7：You supplied hot water, tea, coffee to make a drink but how do you make a drink without a spoon. Stir with you finger? Rather stupid. You cheated me when you advertised your property with palms and swimming pools. But I found none of them there. Maybe they were there 20-30 years ago.

Review 29：Moldy, old and filthy room. I tried to avoid physical contact with all objects as much as possible. The carpet is full of stains. There was rotten food beneath the TV counter. Internet didn't work inside my room. There are no sockets to charge devices. The bed linen showed many stains, lots of hairs, crumbs and holes. It was obvious that they had not been changed after the previous guest had checked-out.
