Reviews for Louis Colossos Beach Hotel
Review 1:Location between Rodos and Lindos very good communication to both, bus station in front of hotel, 1 min to the beach, tasty food everytime; everything you need to relax and have very nice vacation with your family
Review 2:When turning on the AC at full speed, you can hear its grill metal cracking. Usage of WIFI is very expensive (7 euros per hour). Usage of the safe is not for free (3.5 euros per day). Hallway rug is not clean.
Review 3:The pools are perfect. The view from the room is great.
Review 4:I did not like the extremely unfriendly clients of this hotel. As a single traveler I enjoy meeting people from other cultures and communicating with them. This was absolutely impossible here. That's all I wish to write about.
Review 5:I would like to thank Nikitas and his front office staff for their patience and extreme helpfulness. A special thanks must be given to Tsampika Katsidoni for making my stay special - without her friendliness, my stay would have been terrible.
Review 6:Good beach and water activities. Location close to Water Park. Faliraki,Rhodes accessible by bus. Good price on hotel car rent and free childseats. Good animation and kids disco.
Review 7:The first night because of the lizard in the room. No wifi and tvchannels very limited but this was good for me because I managed to getmy teenagers out of the room. Food was average and repetitive, glad wewere not all inclusive.
Review 8:On our first night we had a lizard in our room and my 12 year olddaughter and I were scared to sleep.. I spoke to Dimitri at the desk andhe said they had no rooms to move us to that night as the hotel was full( it was very late when we arrived as our flight had been delayed) butthey could move us the next day once other people had checked out. Thenext morning they moved us to another room and although lizards arecommon in Rhodes and we should expect to see them they understood andwere very nice about it. The beaches in the area are very pebbly andhurt your feet, the nicest bit of beach was the one linked to lch if youwant to stay in this area and want a nice beach then stay here. Thewater park is within walking distance All staff were lovely, theManagers were particularly nice and made an effort to talk to you to seeif you were enjoying your stay. Thank you to all the staff for makingour stay very pleasant. I would use another lch hotel but would not goback to Kalithea/ Faliraki because of the beaches.
Review 9:The hotel was dirty, most things barely worked and the staff were patronising. The staff spent most of the time treating us like naughty school-children whenever we complained about the non-existent wifi, the rude waiters or the dirty rooms. One really should be able to go to a 4* hotel and expect there to be working air conditioning, working wifi and clean rooms - yet we were disappointed that this simply wasn't the case. Until they do a major refurb, I would not recommend even my worst enemy to visit this hotel.
Review 10:The location was decent. There's a great beach bar called Ammades nearby and Faliraki is easily accessible. The ferries to Rhodes town are also fairly useful. It's not, however, close enough to walk anywhere and a lot of money was spent on taxis. The food was varied but nothing special. The facilities were good on paper, but uninspiring in reality.
Review 11:Rooms definitely need total reconstruction, plumbing, overall room condition is very old and partly destroyed. The wifi is only at the lobby and for a special, not cheap payment. Moreover, the wifi doesnt always work well, so sometimes is difficult to have a connection to the internet. The condition of a hotel indeed doesnt match to 4 star level hotel!!!
Review 12:The hotel is situated on a beach, the location is nice, close to different facilities and the Rhodes city center
Review 13:- The fitted carpet in the room was awful, also the corridor was very out of date - Staff in bars/reception tend to serve adults first although kids have been waiting for service longer, which is not respectful
Review 14:- Good food - Close to the beach - Nice beach lunch
Review 15:Very, very bad food. Everything was awful. The beach, everything. The description says that the sun beds are free, in reality you have to pay 3 euros/day. The beach is dirty, not sandy, there is rocks and stones. We could not find any socket in the room, had to rearrange the TV and the fridge. It is a busy and crowded place, which is maybe good for children to play. But not for adults. I do not recommend this place to anyone.
Review 16:It was not that dirty, towels were changed every day. The staff was very kind, helpful and hard-working.
Review 17:So many rooms. Feels like in a big city. Overcrowded elevators. Stairs to floors are locked, and one must stay in a queue to elevator every time he wants to get to his room, which is very inconvenient.
Review 18:Nice kitchen. Very nice concerts in the evening.
Review 19:Bungalow on the beach, lunches, excellent beach and Evi from the reservations
Review 20:Everything.. Really go and you will see.. You will remember my comments
Review 21:Room was dirty, food was not good, too much crowded
Review 22:Beach was the only good thing, but paying for sun bed was unbelievable.
Review 23:The room was in very poor condition, both it and the furniture (and the air conditioning unit) looking very old and shabby. The balcony door wouldn't lock. It wasn't possible to lock the safe in the room, and the tv made a dreadful noise. Most importantly, the room looked NOTHING like the pictures on booking.com
Review 24:Breakfast/lunch were great, the staff was friendly, and the room was clean.
Review 25:Dresscode should apply for all restaurants and bars!!!!!!! (now there were a miljons of russians taking a lot of food in what they go to pool). That was really bad looking...brrrr...russians- there are not your country place!. from fruits in 1th of may only orange, apple, greipfruit....:( fish was not tasteble...and no grilled fish in week. strange noise was from something techincal all time, especially when was no tv on. I was in 436number. for three persons small. no place where to dry towels from beach or swimsuits...balcony wasnt opened. so you see a sea only when stand up. NO FREE WI FI...5 eur for 1 h !!! and dont go in first week of May nothing was opened, no boats or something to do when no sun, and in the hotel nothing happens in this time ...but only good thing is no people and you can take sun beads where you whant.
Review 26:personal , animation was great and funny!!!! food is averege but tasty. only after 6 days already a little bit boring, but it is normal. white wine was good.
Review 27:1) Dresscode should apply for all restaurants (now there were a lot of sweaty russians taking food in only their speedos. That was really groose.2) The plastic (one-time) glasses for the beers and drinks felt very cheap. Should be possible to have some in hard plastic instead. 3) It should not be allowed to 'reserve' a sunchair from the night before. Now there were a lot of people booking the same and multiple for the complete week. A lot of them were empty all day but still 'reserved'.
Review 28:1) Perfect cleaning.2) Nice staff. 3) Good 'animation team'. 4) Nice with some 'child-care' thing.
Review 29:Too many russians; this is a russian-centerd hotel. The food is bad, very bad. It's all-included but only until midnight. After midnight, you even have to pay for tea (3 euro, no less!). Do not book this hotel!
Review 30:Nothing
Review 31:Fitted carpet, old structure. Too much Russian customers, no Italians or others. Not clean pool.
Review 32:Seaside
