Reviews for Mistral Bay Hotel
Review 1:The air conditions' filters hadn't been once it was operated the room got filled with dust and given the fact that I am allergic to it I couldn't sleep most of the night. The room wasnt that clean I found a cigarette behind a bed stand.
Review 2:Hotel is relatively. The hotel staff was really good. The location of the hotel is close to the center of the city
Review 3:There are 96 steps to the hotel, very steep. If I had known I would not have picked this hotel. Both lifts broke at the same. We were on the 7th floor. Other guests and I had to stay in our rooms because we were not able to climb the stairs. I climbed them once but it was a struggle. We were AI. The food was nice but not enough variety.Only one dessert or melon sometimes grapes. I asked for a cup of tea at about 10.30. (Breakfast finished at 9.30) I was told by reception staff the 2 places I could get a drink were closed so I would have to pay. I only wanted water and milk as I had my own t-bag (My favourite tea) . So we went to beach cafe and paid 1 euro. I ended up having 3 and left a 2 euro tip. Well worth it. The waiters and bar staff were amazing. 10 out of 10. On the other hand the reception staff 2 out of 10. They made you feel you that you were bothering them. When they smiled which wasn't often, it was so false. The mat for the shower was not changed at all for our 7 night stay, it was starting to smell sour. The balcony was never cleaned either. We booked a weeks AI at this hotel. We arrived at about 11pm 2nd Oct and checked out our room at 12pm 9th Oct . They took our bands when we checked out at 12pm, surely because we arrived so late we should have at least been entitled our lunch. I'm glad because we went to a beautiful restaurant by the sea for lunch. It was the best food of the entire holiday.
Review 4:The. hotel room was nice, great views from the balcony. The bar staff and waiters were amazing, always there with a friendly smile and a chat.
Review 5:Wifi is not free...the food could be better...more fresh fruits and salads and good olive oil
Review 6:The room is nice and clean. The position is nice. There's a pool and a gym, a restaurant and a bar. The staff is nice.
Review 7:Totally decieved by the photos. Rooms are tiny. Balcony only big enough for I person to sit. Balcony glass has 4 inch spikes to prevent birds sitting. All-inclusive is bottom budget quality. Reception staff are unhelpful and rude. Never a 4 star, 2/3 and that generous.
Review 8:Location was ok that's it.
Review 9:The worse experience I've ever had. The behavior of the staff is out of discussion. They charged me as one person sleeping in 2 rooms in one night. The food was not good and you didn't have from what to choose for your breakfast or dinner. Is not all inclusive, there are selected drinks and food only between some hours. Internet €8/day, no parking places, you have to carry your luggage on stairs from the main street to the reception. Sorry, but nothing good to say...I send them letter to fix the financial problems, but due to the fact that I got no answer, my lawyer will take care. I don't like cheaters.
Review 10:The staff was not really friendly! Just a smile if you pass them would make it already much better! The girl at the roofbar was the only one who was nice to us. The rooms are really standard and food was not a 4 star level! I definitely don't think this is a 4 star hotel! Only 3 star!!!
Review 11:The location was really good! Close to the old harbor and close to the sea. The beach is a few minutes walking.
Review 12:Although it advertises a swimming pool, a small pond with water to the waist level cannot be considered a swimming pool. The food had a good variety but it was cold and not particularly tasty. Maybe because it was a mass production food
Review 13:Wonderful view of the sea, at a great location near the city center. The room is really modern.
Review 14:The staff is very rude and uncooperative. They tried to rip us off with paid wifi. They dint change the towels and clean the room for 3 days
Review 15:The location was excellent
Review 16:- Cleanliness: NOT actually clean. Bathroom walls had soap residues, bedroom walls were dirty. Bad smell on most of the towels - Service: we asked for a double bed and got two single ones close together - Comfort: room was too small - balcony had room only for the chairs.. Could not fit two people - shower was leaking into bathroom floor - curtains were not preventing the sun so we were waking up at 8am from the heat in the room - Parking: this starred hotel had a parking 300m away, in a plot under the sun, with a locked chain you had to open and close yourself
Review 17:- View: absolutely great sea view! Felt like you were into the sea - Decoration: room was elegantly decorated like in the pictures with good quality furniture Looked like the hotel was created with a good perspective but was operated into a really low standard by its current management.
Review 18:the wifi is must ,so you giving to the client for free no extra charge . The bool it was very small and freezing. The gym is beastly.
Review 19:I like the service and the room with the see view . the location is very good.
Review 20:We are a young couple we got a double recreational purposes to 3 nights, the hotel under for about criticism! Very small pool, only 3 people can enter it. You can not even swim there! We took the all inclusive package and we regretted it every minute we were there! Drinking with taste and limited alcoholic beverage in terms of hours perfecting it only beer and wine as well as limited hours. No choice of food, lunch and dinner the same day. The food is disgusting! Safe fee of 3 euros per day. Paid Internet and not working properly there is no organized beach near the hotel. I really do not recommend
Review 21:We didn't like nothing
Review 22:misleading photos consering the sea view from the room . too small swiming pool and balcony. There is not a beach near by.
Review 23:clean room, comfortable bathroom, helpful staff
Review 24:Paid wifi, food, often we went to eat outside, in each taverna you get better food. Plus the service is not good, any non main dishes are served either on top roof or downstairs but they are understuffed so you have to go here and there with the 2 tiny elevators which stop everywhere. The pool is a joke, the size is like 3x5 meters surrounded by walls, on the ground floor, quite depressing.
Review 25:The location, fair price 70 Eur/night/double room with sea view, nice stuff.
Review 26:the food could have been a little warmer
Review 27:the location of the hotel the view from the hotel calm surroundings - as long as you remember; "the shortest distance between two people is a smile", there´s no limit to the goodwill, you get in return
Review 28:I do not agree with paying for WiFi. When you can get free WiFi at local cafes with a €2 coffee, you should get free wifi when spending €500 at the hotel. I would love to come back to this hotel, but only if they drop the WiFi charges.
Review 29:We loved almost everything about this hotel. Gorgeous modern decor with hints of original Greek touches. Food was delicious. The staff couldn't do enough for us and were very welcoming. Great location, beautifully appointed rooms. Great rooftop sun deck.
Review 30:Paid wifi not free, breakfast, small room, small balcony, no mini bar, fridge not working, no shampoo and shower gel
Review 31:---
Review 32:Roof terace, location, room, food.
Review 33:The food was not that good on the whole
Review 34:The view was great from our room and location good
Review 35:Four stars(4****) ended on the 1st floor.
Review 36:Sea view
Review 37:The pool size is not enough
Review 38:The staff are very kind,Great location, Very clean
Review 39:The food was poor quality and not enough choices were provided
Review 40:Location and housekeeping were good.
Review 41:very unprofessional staff, food was very bad, room was very small
Review 42:Small and dirty rooms, bad food
Review 43:Nothing
Review 44:Very dirty ...(bathroom)!!!!!!! terrible internet, unfriendly staff, food is not for 4 star hotel...
Review 45:Room cleaning, sulking staff, Agios Nikolaos is a small city not for young people mostly for retired people.
Review 46:Location and panaromic sea view
Review 47:Good location, easy parking
Review 48:The owner and her daughter were lovely. We loved the location in this beautiful town and the view from the balcony was wonderful.
Review 49:The all inclusive food of this hotel is not for us
Review 50:Nice people, good rooms, good location.
Review 51:Location and Staff
Review 52:Room smelled of urine, no hot water, no lamp shades, key card electricity box hanging loosely on the wall, one of two elevators not operational. Sliding doors could not be properly closed -> loud noise from wind. We endured the first night and then checked out even though we had to pay for the full stay. Checked into another hotel at same price level - a pleasant and totally different experience!
Review 53:There are approximately 89 steps to carry your suitcase up to arrive atthe entrance. The reception area is quite nice which makes you think therest of the hotel will be the same. The rooms are basic and reallypokey. The balcony was just wide enough to seat a narrow chair sideways. The bathroom is in desperate need of refurbishment. The one reason westayed at the Rea was because we wanted breakfast, we shouldn't havebothered, the food was really poor quality. There was a member of staffwho just stood there like he was guarding the food, presumably so no onetook any food away with them. Who'd want too! So we didn't bother withbreakfast. I gave my passport to the head receptionist the morning wearrived, after two days they hadn't given it back to me, I asked thereceptionist at night for it back and she said "you can't have it backtill you have paid". Well that didn't go down well, so I made a point ofasking for it back in the morning, they didn't want to give it me. Themanager was there, he mumbled in the corner something in Greek " theEnglish are going to !!!! us over". So then I decided to say to them inGreek "are you afraid we'll leave without paying". Hence they gave me mypassport. Every morning when we handed the key in we got false smilesfrom the head honchos. On the whole the hotel is not up to the standardof a three star hotel and needs a refit, the roof garden looks like it'sbeen abandoned. The location of the hotel is not for the faint hearted, either 89 steps or a steep hill, there's no escape. I'm guessing, thishotel had it's heyday in the early 70'S.
Review 54:The chambermaid was very friendly, she worked tirelessly cleaning therooms on all eight floors of the hotel. The evening and nightreceptionists were very friendly and let my son use an extra key, so Ididn't have to get up when he come in at 6 in the morning.
Review 55:Nothing negative at all!
Review 56:The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Outstanding view of Agioi Pantes and the sunrise. Very nice walk to the lake and town area. Excellent value.
